How many teeth do you have?

24 - 4 lost to braces, 4 wisdom teeth gone. Still perfectly straight, will go the implant route if ever necessary. Teeth are very important to me.

To help balance out those of you born with less than four wisdom teeth, I had two extras on the top. The second ones were underneath the first, and caused the tops of the first to point partway towards the lip.

So when I was in either my late 20’s or early 30’s, my dentist recommended pulling them as they were not functioning as chewing surfaces. When removing the two, one of the secondary ones also came out. And the net result was I had three wisdom teeth removed, and today still have three.

I have 28 teeth. I have had 3 molars extracted, but my wisdom teeth came in to replace these. I believe I still have one impacted wisdom tooth... or maybe 2? At my age, if they haven't needed to come out yet, I'm not having them taken out!

22 teeth

Wisdom teeth pulled (I have a small mouth, no room for them). 3 implants. One tooth pulled and not replaced. Two teeth recently pulled, awaiting decision for implants or partial dentures.

My wisdom teeth were pulled and I have a genetic problem where I am missing 3 adult teeth. I still have one baby tooth, one bridge and one dental implant.

I remember my dad saying he has his wisdom teeth pulled as a teen, and 4 more came in when he was in his 50s that he had to have pulled. Even now, I have no idea if that is true. Our friend Google at the same time says that is not possible, and that it is possible and those are known as "surplus" teeth and happen in 1 to 2% of all people.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth out. I have 8 crowns. I think they still qualify as teeth since there was some tooth left to Stacy them to? None pulled yet tho.

I have 28.
My wisdom teeth never came up and they were bothering me so I had them out.

I had a few small cavities prior to age 15.
I had one tiny one starting about 18 months ago so had that taken care of.

My smile is my favorite part of me so I am always on the ball about brushing and going to the dentist every 6 months.

My parents both have a lot of teeth issues so I'm trying my darndest to never have to go through what they have because I could not handle having extensive dental work. I'd need to be drugged.

I never had 32, as I was born without the bottom wisdom teeth, I guess that is why I am not so wise. I have had one of the top one's removed so I guess that means I have 28 erupted, and 1 below the gum.
I also never had 32. I have 3 on the bottom front where I should have 4. Never had any teeth removed. Two of my wisdom teeth still haven't emerged at age 38, but they're there on x-rays.

I don’t have all 32 — my wisdom teeth are long gone. Dentist pulled them when I was like 18 because they were crowding. So I’ve got 28 total now, all in decent shape.

Nope. I've worn a partial on top since I was 17, my two eye teeth. Had all my wisdom teeth pulled at one time or another. Now, I have no bottom teeth at all and am in the slow process of getting dentures. They put "temporary" ones in the day I had the rest of my bottom teeth pulled (through the years I've had partials with various number of teeth on them). They made the temp. denture way off, way too big for my mouth and the bite was/is impossible. After a number of visits to get it relined and cut a bit, it is wearable but eating is still a challenge since they couldn't get the bite right. I've been twice already to get fitted for the permanent ones and they can't seem to get the bite right on the wax ones they use to make the permanent one from. I have a very small mouth and an overbite. I actually have an appointment this morning to go try again. Hopefully, third time is a charm since I leave a week from Sat. for WDW and would love to actually be able to eat.

Hey @tvguy …… great topic! 🙂👍🏻

I have 26 teeth in my mouth.
4 wisdom teeth have been pulled
2 bottom very back molars are pulled due to getting hit in the face with a softball, two separate times. This happened while practicing with my DD22 (she’s also broke my finger) at separate times throughout her softball career. She played through college and is now retired, but she still likes us to practice together, so who knows what the next injury will be 🙄😳🤣

Ya know, I never really counted them. I know I had my wisdom teeth out, so that's minus 4. I also seem to remember that I had a couple more pulled when I was young before I got braces. So I am probably down about 6-8. I don't remember if it was 2 or 4 they pulled for that.
