Okay I'm on the phone right now with Wawa guy!!

Okay, just got off the phone with Wawa guy. He seems very nice. He likes to surf, does martial arts, likes sunrises and sunsets on the beach  (that was a bit much!), he has two kids, is divorced, and works as a land surveyor. He wants to own his own surveying company next year.

We agreed to meet at the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday afternoon. So we'll see. I'm not sure what to think of him after talking to him. So we'll see.

Getting ready to go to bed. Stayed up too late last night! hehehehe

see you tomorrow

Good Morning!

Very windy here and it poured the rain down most of last night.

Tara, he sounds like a nice guy. Hope things go well at CF.

Morning all

Electric went out last night, but was back on by the time Todd got home so he was able to reset the alarm clock.

Elaine...Todd has the type of memories most women get after labor. Mandy spit up a lot. We typically tried not to move her much between feedings. Her's didn't bother her and she gained weight. We just waited for her to outgrow it. Cassie was more fussy, but not in pain. I would definitely had to do something if there was pain. YAH for getting a walk and movies in.

As for all this sports talk, I am out of the loop.

Tara...You already doubting the guy??? Some of the best guys stick around even at the worst. I still can't figure out why Todd stuck around. I was always working or going to school. Then there was my family, that alone should have run him off. If it is a bad date, atleast you are going somewhere nice to eat;) Enjoy the food if nothing else.

Pam...Todd had a camaro when we began dating. I couldn't wait for him to get rid of it. I never felt safe in the rain or snow if we used his car.

I am so frustrated with my work computer. Since November I have not been able to access my company intranet site easily. I can access my email, shared drives and everything else. So in December I call and my company help desk gets it working..only to find out the next time I log in I can't get on even the internet and have lost access to the shared drives and email. So I finally get it back to having everything but intranet (my service provider fixed it since my work couldn't help), well this week I really needed the intranet so I call the help desk...this morning I am back to not being able to get to anything for my work unless it is on my hard drive. They forced an IP address last night and now I think my computer is not able to find the correct provider IP address..UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! I wrote down the forced IP addresses and they won't work either.:furious:

Well, I am just going to work offline for now and get my email through my home computer, which is a pain...

Hope everyone's morning goes better than mine is.

Good Morning gang!
Geez Amanda, I sure hope your day gets better.
TARA - Go with the flow and see what happens. and what's wrong w/sunsets on the beach? :lmao: Cheesecake factory - YUM!
Yes Elaine, keep reminding me about the little guy. I can't wait to meet him:yay:
Sherry - I think Jordan and Cameron's b'days are same? or close to each other. Cameron will be 16 also. :scared: Well, at least we can commiserate with each other. (How'd ya'll like that big word huh? did I spell it right teacher?)
Yes, Paula we can still be sisters after this weekend. Actually I have been seeing someone who is a big Pats fan 1st, Jags fan 2nd. LOL Oughtta be an interesting game.
Pam - I'll take that teal 'stang off your hands. :rotfl: Purple truck, what's that kid thinking? :lmao:
Oughtta time. gotta work. drag................later..........

RM - :rotfl: I do know what a fountain drink is! :rotfl: But up here - we just grab a pop! ;)
Is that like a coke?

Hi everyone! We tried to enjoy our spring like day we had and went for a walk. Then I caught up on a couple of movies that I had been wanting to watch. Nice to do that especially when the DIS isn't working well

I think "silly stories" like that make for the best ones later on when saying how you met someone.
Sounds like a nice day.
Rebecca still doesn't remember when we were introduced the first time. It's nice to know I made an impression  :)

Okay I'm on the phone right now with Wawa guy!!
Is that where he works, or what he said after he saw you in the sleazy/sippery/tramp pants? "Wa-wa-wa"

The computer issue sounds very frustrating, Amanda. I hope they finally get that set up for you.

Good morning y'all.

Just got back from running to Wal-mart and Super Kmart. Needed pop, but came back with alot of junk food, too. :teeth: And Christmas lights for next Christmas.

Amanda, sorry about the computer problems.

Rose Mary, Jordan's b-day is Feb. 1. Its a scary thing having your kid drive you. At least for me it is. :lmao: Jonathan is doing good, though, but I'm still a nervous wreck.

Morning, Alan!

We have a fussy one today. Not bad but he likes to move a lot, so this will be short ;)

Tara, I would have been a twit and asked him which one he liked more, sunsets or sunrises :p I can't wait to hear how it goes on Sunday though!

Sherry, we had much of the same weather last night. Very windy and rainy

Amanda, good luck getting your computer to work right. That would annoy me to no end to have it not work the way you want it to.

Someone needs to be changed... better go

Good morning gang,

I guess i'm cynical...the whole sunsets / sunrises thing sounded too much like a dating ad. He just seemed to talk a lot....i guess that is what you do...but I haven't been in this situation in so long it just seems odd. I'm used to just knowing people! Also, I'm not much of a telephone person any more unless it is a really good friend.

And Alan, I met him at WaWa (its a gas station / convience store). So I figure WaWa guy works for now.

I will go out on Sunday and maybe it will be more comfortable when we are face to face. Either that or I'll be looking for a place to escape to. LOL! I'm just not good at this dating thing, so by Sunday I'll probably be wishing the world would swallow me up! hehehe

Amanda...sorry the computer is being stupid. Hopefully they can fix it and get it right for you!

Alan...do you rmemeber where you met Rebecca? Maybe she wants to see if you can remember!!

RM...DS driving! ugh! That scares me now with my kids and I still have 9 and 13 years to go!! hehehe Sounds like a good deal on the car! Glad you clarified the phone drink thing! I was a bit confuzzeled! hehehe

Sherry...i should have given you my list for walmart! I need some pop too! (well we call it coke or soda!) Hope all the J's and the S are feeling better now!

Elaine...I hope the meds work for Dom. Sorry he is a little fussy today. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. I would have done something like ask him which he likes better but i was too busy thinking about how it just sounded like one of those cheesey dating sites! Again...the cynic in me!!

Pam...:lmao: a guy in a purple truck laughing at a teal 'stang! He was probably laughing because he was too embarassed by his truck!

Todd...glad I gave you a good laugh with my story! My life has been quite dull lately so this was a nice change of pace. Even if I am a little hesitant about it now!

Scouts update:
I went last night, back to being mom. It was announced that the advancement chair was the new wolf leader. i wasn't even mentioned as the one doing the blue and gold banquet. Oh well. I'm still doing it but I'm not doing much else. He only had one activity for the hour and then the rest was spent discussing the rest of the month, the month's theme, and the month's activities. So if you ask me it was quite boring! I always had two or three things to do with the kids. Oh well! No loss on my part!

Jarrod was a little upset at first but he quickly perked up and did what he was supposed to. The leader's kid got up and walked away once without asking permission or taking a buddy and his dad said nothing to him. Oh well!

hugs to anyone and everyone I missed,
tara

howdy all...

sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days. As usual work has been driving me crazy. I had to pop in long enough to read Tara's trampy pants story.

I'm pretty sure if he's using the sunset and sunrises thing it's just to impress you and he's probably just as nervous! Go with the flow!
You can always tell him that you have die hard Disney friends on the web. If he doesn't run at the point he's a keeper :teeth: :p

okay...hugs and love to all.... :grouphug:

I meant to say...Paula...i read my mom your comment about them being slippery instead of sleazzy and as she laughed she agreed that was probably a better word!! hehehe

Oh and in case anyone is wondering...no sleazy, trampy, or slippery pants on today!! :lmao: just regular ole long pants!!

Afternoon class is working beautifully and independently. I'm happy!!

I have tutoring this afternoon so I'll be here late today.

back later,
tara

Tara, I would be a bit cynical too about the sunset/sunrise. I am not one who believes lines like that from guys. I usually roll my eyes at them and move on. So I do totally understand.

I think Dom has been cranky because he's been so uncomfortable lately. He just has that cranky cry to him whenever he does cry. I am a mean mama and I sometimes laugh at him when he quivers his bottom lip while being cranky :p

Kristy, nice to see you pop in. Sorry work has been so busy. I know what we need to do for Tara with this guy... show him pics of her doing a shot with her crazy DIS friends while at WDW :teeth:

Very sleepy... I was on nights last night and of course it was a fussy one for Dom. I think Luis agreed to feed tonight (he only has to wake up once to feed)

Got a hall booked for Jordan's 16th b-day party. Glad that is outta the way. I was thinking of doing sloppy joes, wings, potato salad, chips and dip, and tortillas and taco dip. And of course, cake & ice cream. Does that sound like enough food? I feel like I should have more, but not sure what to have. :confused3: Any ideas?

Kristy, sorry work has been so busy. Hope it slows down soon.

Elaine, sorry Dom's been cranky.

Tara, hope tutoring went well.

Morning!

Yikes, page 3. I killed the thread!! :scared1:

Jonathan & Jordan get out of school at 11:17 today. They have exams today and tomorrow, so get out early both days.

Morning...

Have to do a store visit for work this morning. Atleast I get a break from meetings;)

Sherry...we do sloppy joes, but typically also put hot dogs in the crockpot for younger kids who may not like sloppy joes. For my family cole slaw is a must with sloppy joes, we also like corn;)...all on top of the meat. Your list sounds similar to what we have for bday parties. We do usually have a couple extra appetizers (salami roll up, pickle roll ups, veggie tray, fruit tray) and we do dixie chili dip instead of taco dip. Too bad I don't live closer I love preparing food for parties.

Elaine...sorry Dom was cranky yesterday. Hope today is better for you.

Todd appears to have hurt his back. I am waiting for him to wake up to see exactly how much pain he is in. He has a high pain tolerance, so any pain is a lot for him.

Good luck to the boys taking the exams today!

As for food, I'd probably add fruit or veggies. I always love snacking on things like melons at parties :)

Dom got his meds and weather & mood depending, we'll run errands.

Amanda sneated... sorry Todd's back hurts. After dealing withe years of back issues, I feel for him. I'd rather give birth than have my back hurting.

WOW...Did my back hurt last night...
I should have taken yesterday off work...
I didn't sleep much so I am going back to bed after UPS guy comes(9:30) which has been the same time the last 2 or 3 months...I am thinking it is a pinched nerve since it goes away after a couple days & finally caved & will see a chiropractor on monday since this happened last June too....
Hate seeing another doctor when I have other things unresolved(knee, braces)

Elaine--I hope labor is nothing like this:sad1: it is unbearable and brings me to my knees....

Morning!
Sherry - good luck to the guys on their tests! How many people will you be having? Guess I should be planning Cameron's 16th party. Sloppy joes sounds like a great idea.
Todd -So sorry about the back pain! too bad you can't get to the chiro sooner. Hopefully, it will help.
Amanda - Yeah for the meeting break. My new supervisor is great but, our weekly meeting is so boring zzzzzzzzzzz! LOL
Elaine-hope the meds work and weather permits so you can get out and about.
:wave2: to everyone I missed. I'm hoping for a smooth, fast day today.
