Paula: Sounds like you do make a plan, that's alot of stuff ya' got going on.
I've been writing down things as I think of them. Only problem, I then forget my list when I go off how are the meds working? I'm thinking about changing back.
Someone say something about shopping? I don't wanna talk about it! I haven't even begun and have not clue. guess I need to make a plan!

DS was at his dad's last night. I get a call: he is sick & throwing up. Figures we're suppose to leave tomorrow for my mom's, hopefully its just some 24 hr bug thing. His main concern is not missing the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona (go ahead Alan, I'm sure you will have a field day with that one, LOL). DS has been apprenticing w/our auto mechanic. They have been working on the mechanic's Plymouth Roadrunner that is all fixed up, painted, fast, etc. There is a big get together in Daytona this weekend to show off the cars and stuff, so DS and been all about going.

Ok, off to pretend to work again. I'm getting pretty good at it!

Good Morning all....

My meeting this morning was cancelled - and Alyssa just called and said that her roomate is not going to class tomorrow so they are coming home tonite instead - 2 things off my list and I'm not even dressed yet!!

Gotta check my stuffing recipe to make sure I have all the ingredients and decide what to make for dessert so I'll pick that stuff up this afternoon.

Alan....loved the pic even if it was just 1 with Santa - Alyssa never talked to Santa - honestly I don't think she ever really believed - she is just too literal - thinks too much - hahaha.

Hi Rosemary - I think the meds are working OK - I have a check with my doctor this afternoon - hope your son is feeling better.

Todd - I don't need you to do my shopping but if you can decide what I'm giving everyone.....that would be a big help!

Stayed home sick today....just got out of bed about 30 minutes ago. Clogged ears, headache, sore throat. Just what I need before company and our vacation.

Alan...Mandy stopped believing a year ago. She questioned before that but was sure last year. Cassie didn't seem like she believed, ever, but this year she seems to believe. Not sure where she is on Santa.

Todd...no offering to shop for others till our's is done That is nice of you to offer though.

Well I need to get a shower so I can go up the street to ask a neighbor if he has a chainsaw we can borrow.

I forgot to say to Elaine earlier!!

Just got an e-mail from my friends (that we are "adopting" for Christmas)cousin with sizes and gift ideas for the kids.
They are 10, 9,8,7,and 2 1/2 - I think each one of us on the staff will take 1 child to buy for - if any of you have any toy ideas please throw them my way - been a long time since I bought toys!!

House is just about tidy so I will only have to vac and quickly dust tomorrow.

Off to the doctors for a med check then come home to check recipes.

I cannot focus today!!!!!Okay I'm better now!

I am worse than the kids these days!!!

Jarrod's assembly this morning was because he did the summer reading program. Only about 30 kids out of the whole school did the reading program. I thought lots of kids must have done it.

But the students who did it were given a prize from their Partner in Education The Lions Club...a goody bag and a $10 gift card from Barnes and Noble!! Jarrod was excited to be out of class for a few minutes and then to get a cute little composition notebook to record the number of books he reads! It was sweet.

Okay, I'm going now to finish my lesson plans...ugh!!! I just want to go home and pack!! hehehehehe

woohoo for your ressies!!! We are doing sci fi on Saturday for lunch!! Didn't plan on whispering canyon this year!

I tried the auto focus but the fuse burned out after about 3 minutes...a little longer than TomKat's kiss

I have one more plan to write and it is a short one and then I will be done!! woohoo!!!

Now if this dang storm will move through so that we can fly out on Thursday. They are predicting 55 mph winds here tomorrow so I hope that doesn't mess up Thursday's flights!

off to look productive! Kids are being good right now...they are on the laptops doing powerpoint presentations listening to the soundtrack to Animal Kingdom on my iPod boom box!!

oh and happy anniversary Sherry...mine was in oct. also!

Alan...sorry your sweetie doesn't beleive in Santa any more...we had to say we believed iin Santa if santa was going to bring us presents. If we didn't our stocking wasn't going to be filled!

Tara...I forgot to say thanks for sharing Jarrod's phone call. Mandy used to only hang with boys, so the calls were normal. She now hangs with some girls. Also, good luck on getting Jarrod to pick something at B&N for under $10. That was nice of them though. Mandy reads well, but seems to go through her moods. She did agree to try the reading club at school starting the first of the year.

Sherry...congrats on your anniversary. I don't even know when mine is.

Paula, seems like you are just dashing through your to-do list. Great for you.

We have a "giving tree" here at work with tags and ages of the children at a local childrens home. We pick the tags, buy gifts for the age and hope we did ok. I've go a 3 y/o boy and 3 y/o girl to buy for this weekend. Maybe I'll end up buying for a couple of teenagers too. Tags still hanging on the tree. We are to limit our gifts to $20 each.

Hey all, I have no catch up from the past few days.....it has been busy around here and I haven't been on the computer much. I have one child home from college and expect the other one tomorrow for Thanksgiving break. I am watching my nephews tomorrow so i probably wont be around then either. I will try to come back tonight and catch up.
