Today is Jared's party at Skate World. Our friends from Cleveland (and their kids!) are coming so afterwards we'll all hang out here and watch movies and chat all night.

Rise and shine y'all! ;)

We are back home... good trip home, and we even arrived about 25 minutes early. I like Orlando's airport :teeth:

Over all great trip. We went really slow and just relaxed a lot. Enjoyed meeting up with everyone that we could... and we enjoyed our times alone as well. Sadly it is freezing here by comparison *sigh*

I'll do a real ketchup later :wave2:

Afternoon!

Forgot to set the alarm last night and we overslept and missed church.
Going to see The Santa Clause 3 this afternoon, then taking Jared out for his b-day dinner.
Boys had a blast at the party yesterday and we enjoyed hanging out with our friends. BIL, SIL & Nephew came over, too. :)

Welcome home, Elaine. Can't wait to hear all about the trip. Do try to keep it shorter than Rose Mary's report, though. :lmao: :lmao:

Please when you feel you want to travel don't go to a commonwealth country!
And for the latino's ex don't go to a latino country!

Well, at least i don't have a lot to ketchup on!! hehehe

welcome home elaine!!

I ended up with the headached I had been dealing with since Wednesday getting so bad Saturday evening that I was drugged myself and went to bed. I think this one was the end of the PMS headache and the full fleged "let down" headaches I used to get. i would be so stressed through the week that every friday night I would be totally useless with a terrible headache. It didn't go completely away until 3 this afternoon.

I went to the eye doc this morning (got out of doing the glacoma test b/c of the headache!) and ordered my new specs and replaced my sunglasses that i broke a few months ago. I've been wearing a pair that is two Rxs old and have cracks, chips, and peels in them :rotfl: I had to put the lense back in them every time I put htem on!! heheh

Anyway, going to start a novel study with my youngins tomorrow and i ahve to create the worksheet to begin the book. So I'm going to work on that now. I'll stop by tomorrow to let you know if I get fired again! (Happened again on Friday...I've been fired more times in the last couple of weeks than i have in my entire life!!)

have a good evening!!

tara

Good Morning!

Page 4! Quiet weekend. We saw The Santa Clause 3 yesterday. Good movie! :thumbsup2.

No baby today. BIL has the day off. :bounce:

Tara, sorry about the headache. Yay for new glasses. I need to get to my eye doc and get some. Hope you don't get fired again. :lmao:

Morning gang,

I have had an excellent morning so far. jarrod has cooperated like a normal 6 year old!! woohoo!!

Sherry...I'm going to work very hard not to piss off this little guy, cuz i don't want to get fired AGAIN!! :lmao:

I got ont he computer early to download the song "Pinball Wizard" by the Who. I'm going to play it today when we get ready to start the introduction activity for the book "The Pinballs" by Betsy Byars. I think that will be a good intro song!!

Okay, gotta jet. See you all this afternoon!!

tara

Morning!

Up early on my day off to go with a friend for her final walk through and then closing on her new house! :cool1: I'd rather sleep in, but it's a good reason to get up early.

We went to the Home Show when I got home from work Saturday night. Usually, we do the thing on Sunday and it was much nicer. Less crowds. We got to spend a good hour with our wine lady, they always have a booth at the show.

Lainey, I'm sorry I didn't get over there to see you-just ended up being one of those typical crazy weeks. I second that the trip report shouldn't be as brief as Rosemary's! At work, I had a guest who drove down from Columbus to do meals so she could bring them home. This was because she'd come in the previous month and made meals for her mom, and she said they looked so good she wanted her own.

Tara, good idea with Pinball Wizard. We just had a *lovely* morning with Neil...at least he's at school now (don't worry, we warned the teacher!).

Sherry, was SC3 good even without Bernard?

Kimmar, :lmao: at that soap!

Pam, :wave2:

Hey, are we going to hear about Todd and Amanda's camping adventure today?

Suzanne

Morning everyone! I was just tired yesterday and didn't feel like posting at all.

Trip report? Trust me I suck at those. It was mostly great weather and it was just a relaxing trip for me. Luis' favorite meal was Boma (for the prime rib only) and his 2nd favorite was actually Beaches and Cream. He thought they made an awesome hamburger there.
Highlights were seeing the new PotC additions and the Pirate show they have outside of the ride.
To go against the norm, we did MNSSHP and honestly don't think we'd ever do it again. Same is true of MVMCP. We just don't think the money spent is worth the extra time in the parks.
While we had fun at Biergarten, I wasn't keen on the food there. Just not very fresh tasting and not terribly authentic tasting either. It did remind me of a town we visted in Germany (looks wise though) and I was told I was right... that was the town they modeled it after.
Segway tour as always, was fun. We got rained out of part of it, but the new Segways they have are a lot more fun to drive!
Mission Space's green version is pretty good. You do feel a lot of the same sensations, but no where near as rough on you as the orange is.
Crowd levels were pretty decent, but of course, were pretty bad on weekends at MK.
Boardwalk was a nice place to be, but neither of us think we'll rush to stay there again. Just a bit busy and the beds aren't very comfy. Very convenient to everything though.

I"ll look at the pics in a while to see if there are any worth posting right away :)

Good Morning YaYa family! :sunny:

Welcome home, Lainey. Glad we had a chance to meet up.

:wave2: Tara, Sherry, Suzanne, Liz, Todd, Amanda, Bethie, Paula,
Kimmar, everybody!

More later............... :goodvibes

Good morning, all! Exhausting weekend--should have tried to get a little more time off from the store after the vacation to get the laundry done. Just sorta crashed Sat. night after dinner and yesterday, too. Looking forward to a little sleep in tomorrow, since I'll be working the evening shift and don't go in until 2.

Welcome home, Lainey! I'm inclined to agree with ya on MNSSHP. $70+ for 2 bags of candy, most of which we won't even eat, is just a waste in my book. Yeah, the parade and fireworks were good, but still too pricey. We like Beaches & Cream alot, too!!

Gotta head on out--it's Hi Ho-Hi-Ho time. Mad, mad love all around and :grouphug:

Good Morning! Just stopping by for a quick  ...taking Barko to the vet for a much needed pain shot. I just really wish Greg and I could see eye to eye on the Barko thing. He is for sure going to need to take him for the next one though, causse I just can't keep on being mean....OK rant over.

Sounds like everybody had busy weekend. Same here...lots to do so little time!

Off and running, back in a bit for more. Gonna take Barko to the vet, thenI have to wait for MANY people to come and finish all kinds of stuff at the house.

Back in a bit...till then, have a great day~~~
