Alan: Good luck finding a new doc. I really didn't even know that one of your girls was autistic. Dr must have been really good. My DS's cousin is and he must be a very severe case or might be that his parents were in denial for a very long time.

Oh my goodnessyou know where is about to be frozen over....Jarrod's dad is at my house cutting my grass!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't even do that when i was pregnant with HIS son!!! (that's why I was riding the lawn tractor when I ended up going to the hospital to have Jar!!! )

Thanks for the link Suzanne. We started out using the DAN protocol and have had such success with it that we are looking for a physician who follows those guidelines, as well. (Although we are not "rigid" about much)

I need a big, big, big favor!
Will you all please say a prayer for my friend and co-worker Marcia and her husband Joe? They just recently found out he had a spot on his lung which they thought they could do surgery on and that would be that but, they did a PET scan to make sure it wasn't anywhere else. They just got the news today it is in his pelvic bone. I can't even say the "C" word but, she is just devastated of course. But, what's worse is her 1st husband passed from this disease. She and Joe have been married for almost 20 yrs now and I have NEVER heard of two people so in love! He is the sweetest man you would ever want to meet and she is one very special lady. I've known Marcia for quite some time as we worked together at the previous company I worked for and when I moved back to Fl. here she was at my current company. I am just so Thanks bunches gang!

Alan...which is the mental picture...my x doing the yard work or me on the mower with a pregnant belly?? In the hospital when I had him I was known as the lawn mower lady!

Home from the shrink. Now Jar has a sore throat and it looks pretty red but I'm hoping it is just a sinus drip related sore throat. We'll see in the morning!!

Hi y'all! Sorry to have run in and out so quickly last night. We got home just in time to watch GA and then went to sleep. Of course I laid in bed for an hour playing solitare s ince my eyes weren't tired, but at least that (on my phone) doesn't seem to bug Luis.

Holy smokes Tara!!! What did he want from you for doing that?
I do hope that Jarrod is feeling better. My throat has been raw a lot more lately due to allergies/sinus drip (yuck)

Sherry, I betcha we are in for more rain here as well too. I hope it lets up for you to go out and run some errands today. With my luck it will be pouring when I leave to go to the doc

Might try to go to the store after a doc appt, but we'll see. Of course I've been wide awake since 5:30 and had a hard time falling asleep... why does that always seem to happen on the same night?

Sitting here with a sleeping kitty on my lap. Suposed to have a meeting today with boss thas has bene out all week and we never decided on a time so I sent an e-mail and waiting for response. Have to go with Chris to his counselors appt this afternoon (footnote to that - he has been much better this week - calling alot to check in and even came home and had dinner with me last night - still no job yet though). I may also have to go get Alyssa not sure...at least I don't have to work tonite or tomorrow

Decided to clean out my clothes closet ...need to update for sure. A New York & Co. store just opened in the shopping plaza that I go to all the time - anyone know if they sell petites??

Better hit the shower just in case I do have that meeting....love and hugs all around....

Paula - NY & Co. does indeed sell petite clothing (or it's marked short or something similar to that!) Suzanne and Elaine got me hooked on that store!

Cuddly kitties are the best, aren't they? (Sorry about the emoticons, but I couldn't resist! ) Precious waits until I'm in bed every night and just about asleep and then POUNCE! She jumps on my head or chest and then works her way down to the foot of the bed where she has a special blanket just for her!

Pam, we'll forgive you for the emoticons You're bad though Gwenie likes to pounce Luis, and used to do it while he was under the covers. She'd nail him in the mouth (on top of the covers) every time since she saw that area move when he breathed!

A word of advice on the NY&Co clothes, Paula, try the regular length too. I am shorter than you and I found the petites (short length) to be too short. Only once in a blue moon were the regulars too tall... though with heels those even worked. Try them both though, because the shorts really are very *short* IMO.
