Evening...I should be making chili and desserts for our youth group tomorrow, but just not in the mood. The girls were a handful tonight.

Have a great night everyone!

Gooooood Morning!! Is everyone sleeping in today?

Hung out and watched movies last night. Today we are going to a friends house for pizza and hanging out. It was her b-day yesterday and her DH is having a small get-together.

Bummed because we can't watch the OSU game today. :furious:

Of course we're sleeping in Sherry! It is Saturday ;)

Alan, I don't think it would work, she wouldn't be able to understand a word you said... then again women probably don't listen to you much anyway :p

Not that S stuff... I haven't even looked at teh upcoming weather for us lately. I only seem to care about the weather down south :teeth:

Tara, hope you get to relax some this weekend!

Amanda, finish up all you needed to get done?

We are going to dinner with friends who are moving to MD soon. Othwerise we have a very laid back kind of day. We weren't able to find anyone with satelite or Insight cable, so no watching the game for us either :(

Elaine...got everything done, but did it all today. Could not get over being irritable, even woke up that way. It has gone away now. Had a terrific day seeing Facing the Giants, then led devotional with the kids, next was prep for Chili dinner, eating and a fire pit. I think everyone had a wonderful time. Todd and I are a bit tired now. Girls are conked out.

Sherry...how was the birthday party? Sorry you missed your game. BTW-we loved Facing the Giants. There was a lot to learn in the movie about God's Will for our lives and how to let Him lead. Acting wasn't that great, but the lessons more than made up for it. Take tissues.

Everyone must have had a busy Saturday...no time to post.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow!

Morning all! We had a busy day yesterday so I wasn't around to post.

Amanda, sorry you woke up irritable, but I am glad the mood didn't last all day. Sounds like a good day for everyone. Though, I admit I am not familiar with Facing the Giants at all. I'll have to look that up to see what it is all about.

We have church today and Luis is supposed to go help my dad and BIL with something today. I'm tired and would rather stay at home, but since I will be missing church next weekend I feel like I have to go in today.

We're back and we survived camping. My word, it was HOT yesterday-got a bit of heat stroke. The boys loved it and gave me an idea. We've got all of Thanksgiving weekend off, and we may just camp at WDW for part of the weekend.

Everybody must be having a busy weekend!

Alan, are you saying you wouldn't get along with this petite NYer? :rotfl:

Paula, I am addicted to NY&Co's clothes. Like Lainey said, check the regulars, they tend to be fine, too. If you sign up for their emails, you'll get coupons constantly. It's the first place in years that I can consistently walk into and find clothes to wear.

RM, :grouphug: and good thoughts for your friend's DH. Pet scans and c word stuff is not fun to deal with-been down that road.

Pam, you should know that one emoticon is permanently tied to a smelly poster. I see it and think of that person-yuck! How's that deadline stuff coming along?

Tara, where's that story? Sure beats my being the first to WALK into the delivery room. Three years later, they were STILL telling that when I went in to have Kevin-and I walked in for him, too. :teeth:

Sherry, THREE teenagers? :faint:

Amanda, kids conked out and happy from something fun to do is always good. Hope you got some rest after doing all that work.

Lainey, we had the game here-you could have come and 'borrowed' the signal for a couple of hours. :teeth:

I'm going to soak in the tub and take some benedryl. I think that we're going to Red Lobster for dinner. All I know is I'm not cooking!

Suzanne

Didn't go to church today because I wasn't feeling well. Stayed home and caught up on DVR stuff.

Birthday party was fun. We took the 80's Name That Tune game and had a blast playing that. :teeth:

Amanda, I'll have to see where that movie is playing by us.

Suzanne, glad you enjoyed camping.

Elaine, hope you got a nap in.

Whew-wheee! What a weekend this has been. Unfortunately, it ain't over yet--I'm stuck here at the store till they finish shampooing the carpets. Somehow, I must have missed this one in my job description.

Glad to hear the camping trip came off well, Suzanne! I think camping at WDW would be an absolute blast--during the cooler months, that is. Don't miss the campfire and s'mores!

 Tara! How's the weekend going for you? I wanna hear the story about you on the lawn tractor too!! What a sight that must have been!!

Sherry, feeling better? I love group games like that! Ever played Guesstures?! It's a real hoot and gets even better after a few drinks!!

Laine, sorry you missed the game yesterday. Outcome was good, wasn't it?!

Amanda, sounds like yesterday may have started out crummy, but turned out just fine! Always a good way to wear yourself and the kidlets out. Movie sounds great too.

Prayers going out for your friend and her DH, Rose Mary. What an awful shame for her to have to go thru it all over again!

Geez.....Pam always manages to drop in when I'm not around. :confused3 What's up with that?!! I think I may have to go get that coon I saw in the median on my way into work this morning and send it to her. Then again, I saw it yesterday.....and the day before.....might be a little too ripe for her by now.......He DID look a little bloated and his little legs were sticking straight out.

So Alan, how was your weekend? Find any of those NY petites??!!

Managed to get yesterday off, so I got the laundry all caught up and worked on some of my projects for work. Kristy, if you're lurking, this is for you!! Dave and I went decided to catch a movie and went to see Flicka. Oh my, That Tim McGraw sure looks GOOD on the big screen! Not half bad as an actor, either! It was especially nice seeing him all clean-shaven, short haircut, wearing nice tight jeans and a white cowboy hat for a change.

Hmmm....they turned off the shampooer--bet that means they're finished!! Whoo-hooo, I get dinner before bedtime after all!!! Later, all :grouphug:

Hi all...

Went to church, teachers meeting, choir practice, the gym...then home to work on changing over hope chests so Cassie can finally have one. Just finished packing 60 homeless lunches. I am ready to relax.

Elaine and Sherry...the movie is limited release, so you may have to look at several places before finding it.

Sherry...hope you are feeling better. I had Mandy vomiting last night around midnight. The at 5am Todd was saying he had heartburn. It made for a sleepless night. Turns out several from last night weren't feeling well, but there wasn't any common food they ate.

Suzanne...glad camping went well and that you'll be going back.

Well, I'm off to finish watching Amazing Race with Todd.

Have a terrific night and coming week.

Hi gang!!

I'm going to steal Beth's ketchup and say DITTO!!

The tractor story...:confused3
Well, it started with Friday April 21st (Good Friday) and my wonderful grandfather passed away at home. Saturday while we were making arrangements and doing our best to stay calm and get things done, Jay called me. I told him that the follwing day I had to cut the grass because it was looking really bad (this was in the middle of a fight about child support). So he said he would cut it for me the next day. he would call me in the morning and let me know when he could come over.

Next morning I wake up and remember this horrible dream I had the night before about how I was in terrible pain right below my diaphram. It was a burning pain but it must have been a dream because I didn't wake up and I wasn't in any pain when I did wake up.

I waited a couple of hours and Jay didn't call. So about 11:30 I headed out cut the grass. Started with the back yard first. WARNING TMI AHEAD...I went up one side of the yard and hit a hole in the yard...baby jumped, I wet my pants...typical preganancy stuff. I, however, in my infinte wisdom figured it would happen again so I didn't rush in to change clothes...not to self...they make things for this you know! So I took another trip around the yard and when I got to this same darn hole the lawn mower fell in and I couldn't get it out. I was ticked. Not only was I 7 1/2 months preggers but now the mower was stuck and it was Easter and my grandpa had just died...so i was a bit testy.

Went in to use the potty and realized that I had not peed my pants, I was bleeding profusely. The doc didn't want me to come to the hospital (guess she had Easter plans) so she told me to wait it out and see if it stopped. My mom, thank goodness, badgered me to tell her I was coming to the hospital. So I did, but not before I took a shower...i wasn't going in smelling like i had cut the gras! :teeth:

So everytime they asked me waht I was doing when the bleeding started I had to tell them "I was riding the lawn mower" :rotfl: So after he was born they referred to him as the lawn mower baby.

And just in case you're wondering....the mower hadn't caused the problem...it saved his life in fact....where he was posititoned was blocking the blood flow and i wouldn't have known that the burning feeling during hte night was actually my placenta tearing away and he would have bled to death. So we were very lucky I decided to get on the mower that day. If I had laid around and been docile...well, let's just say things would be vastly different!

Sorry i can't tell a story succinctly. I try but I can't!!

Anyway, going to bed here soon. HOpe everyone had a great weekend!!

tara

 Page 3?
Do you people have a life or something? :teeth:
Good Morning YaYa land! :goodvibes

Good morning y'all! Sorry I wasn't able to stop in. We weren't home pretty much at all yesterday

Suzanne, glad you had a good time camping for the most part! I hope you can go camping at WDW over TG!!! Our very first trip to WDW was when I was 5 and we camped at Ft Wilderness in our camper. The next trip we stayed at the Villas :rotlf: Big change! I have good memories still of the camping trip!

Sherry, I hope you are feeling better by now. Glad that the party was fun too.

Bethie, glad you finally got out of there. Yes, it stunk that they didn't broadcast the game here, except on one channel, locally, pretty much only some satelites carry. But at least we were able to listen to it on the radio.

Amanda, I will have to look up the movie in a few. I hadn't even heard about it here. Oh and sorry people were not feeling well after the gathering. I wonder if there was a foodborn illness transmitted by someone hands so it touched a bunch of the foods? Hope all are feeling better by now.

Tara, that is one heck of a story! Talk about a blessing in disguise!!!! I am glad that you did wind up riding that tractor since it helped "bump" him enough for you to know what was going on. That is absolutely horrid what your doctor said though. I would be positively pissed off at her reaction to that!

Good morning Rose Mary! Us having a life though? :rotfl: ;) Just a few more days for ya.... :teeth:

Morning!

Nephew is sleeping, so thought I'd pop in and say a quick hi!
Have :laundy: to do today. :rolleyes1

Tara, wow, what a story. Thank goodness you decided to get on that mower.

Beth, yes, we played Guesstures on Christmas Day. So funny to watch everyone! :lmao:

Amanda, hope Mandy & Todd are feeling better.

Rose Mary, a life? What is that? :confused3:

Whew! Good to know I'm not the only one without a life :thumbsup2

 It's gonna be in the 40's tonight. :cold:

I'm ready for : popcorn:: pixiedust: :mickeybar :teeth:

Rose Mary, trust me, I don't have much of a life either... especially at the moment :p Just had to help out family this weekend put up a ceiling in the sun room.

Sherry, good luck getting everything done!

And Suzanne was right on something. I can't keep something a secret. Yep, look in my sig and you will see...
I do have approval to go on any ride that I see fit for myself though, but since the last time I did that my back went out, I'm skipping ;) So it wasn't a lie... it's really my back keeping me away from it all.
So around June 2nd, you'll have a new little Ya Ya baby :)

 :Pinkbounc :cheer2: A new baby YaYa! Yippee!
I am so excited for you guys! Yeah! congrats. :woohoo:

Good morning y'all!

Thanks for the lawn mower explanation Tara; that really did turn out to be a blessing.

And speaking of little blessings.... :rolleyes1
