Good morning gang! Thanks for all the hugs and good thoughts! Man this was a wild week. And the really sad thing is that it wasn't school that was causing me stress. Jarrod is not transistioning to school very well this year.

What he needs is an iv of his meds before he wakes up so that he is a nice human being when his eyes open. By thursday I had had it and I was in tears while getting him ready for school (and what really pissed me off is that I looked darn good that morning, the hair dried perfecty, the make up looked good, and my clothes worked the first time....before i left for school I had to re do my make up and my hair was all gone where I had pulled it out

)
We saw his counselor on Thursday evening and we have some new things to try, but I need to call his dr. and see if I can give him his meds on an empty stomach so I can half wake him up earlier and then when it is time to get him up he might be nicer.....the problem is I already get up 30 minutes before him so I can have some peace and quiet and if I wake him up earlier then I'll start my battling with him earlier. Also if it does work to give him his pill before he is really awak, by the time he wakes up he won't want to eat....he is already a scrawny little thing with ribs that hang out so i don't want him to lose any more weight. But am I making excuses for not wanting to change the behavior? Am I just worrying about things that aren't really important and therefore I'm just going to allow him to continue to control my life? who knows....so we will keep working on it and see what hapens.
I did, however, get a break last night. We had happy hour after work and I went (more like 4 hours) and it was a really nice break. I said at one point that I should probably go home and see my kids...and my friend Susan said, "Why? You've got pictures don't you?"

I nearly choked on my chips and dip!! So she was right and stayed another hour!! hehehe
It's offical we are going to WDW this year....in fact going to make the final payment this morning!! woohoo!!
Ketchup:
***this is just from yesterday morning up to today....I can't ketchup or even remember what I've read before this so please forgive me!!!****
Suzanne...you're right I need your wine rack about now!! I don't even drink wine, but I imagine that absolute and Kalua would fit just fine!! Hope you find those tickets and that you enjoy your trip!!
Alan...congrats on your cruise!! I went to Grand Cayman in 1994 and absolutely loved it!!! We went the day before Christmas and stayed until New Years eve. It was fantastic!! It was our (my college roommate) graduation present to ourselves...we had graduated and taught for a year and were starting on our second year so we earned it! I went snorkeliing with sting rays, played in a reef, caught conch, and ate it all in the same day! Sting Ray bay is fantastic!! We also did the Atlantis submarine...that is really cool! The shopping is great and the rum runners are fantastic!! hehehe We stayed at an all-inclusive and spent lots of time just hanging out on the beach. Sorry no one can watch the kids! but hey....it won't hurt them one bit to miss some school!! (spoken as I just turned in my leave request to my principal for my WDW trip) Glad the cat came back!
Funny story about losing a living creature in a house....when I was less than 18 months my mom and dad woke one morning to find me missing. They panicked. The searched the entire house. The locks were still on the door, the windows were shut (it was a 2nd story walk up apt.), and they were panicking because they couldn't find me. I don't know how long it took them but they finally found me in the back of a closet sleeping in a laundry basket. I had been climbing out of my crib for a while but I was sleep walking and I would just find something to climb over and think I was back in bed!

They found me another time in the bath tub asleep! They finally gave me a real bed so I could go back to bed on my own!!
Ketchup part deux:
