..personally, I prefer Ye Olde Fried Oreos.....:faint:
Those are totally awesome!!! I absolutely LOVE deep fried Oreos!!!

So John, dare we ask how your house got to be so crazy? I thought things settled down once a kid went off to school :p
I did see your link for the YP... In short I have no clue when I would go

Alan, I figured with all the fried food you had down there, you'd have tried some of these by now ;)

Sherry, sorry you got to be so pooped! As for the game... I'm not so sure I am looking forward to it. I don't do well with games like that ;) But yep, the OSU win sure helped! We were checking in quite often on my phone while on the subway and about :teeth:

Bethie, I almost forgot what day it was here only due to the long weekend. Really messed me up some when that happens. And NYC wasn't as bad as I probably made it sound. I am just not a city chick. Woo hoo for the nice boss' new baby! And woo hoo for boy wonder mellowing out!

I need to get some things together for our trip to WDW. Taking your family means a lot more planning htan I am used to!!!!

Just got home from work (630 :faint: ) things went well. No protein spills today! thank goodness. Catching a real cold now, have a headache and am congested. Going out to dinner now. Back later!!

Nice pics, Elaine. I'm the opposite, I love the big games. :teeth:

Beth, nephew never sits still. And he's stubborn as all get out. You forget how tiring they can be, when yours are grown up! :teeth:

Tara, enjoy dinner. And boo hiss on the cold and headache.

Page 4! :earseek:

Morning!

No call yet from BIL or SIL, so not sure if I have nephew today or not.
:laundy: is on the list of things to do. Not sure what else.

Good morning all! I was far too tired last night to even think about posting

Tara, I do hope you are feeling much better soon

Sherry, I just get super emotional with the games. So big games are hard for me to watch. I am going to my sister's sat to watch, but I am not sure it is a good idea for me :rolleyes1

I'll just sit far away from the TV :p

I have some cleaning to do today and choir is starting back up for us again. So my relaxed thursday nights are gone for the year!

Wasn't that a quote from Monica Lewinsky? :confused3

Anyway, I went home early yesterday because our new cat, Mickey was missing. I looked all around the neighborhood and he turned up 2 hours later still in the house.

*sigh* Cats....

I'll not worry about him if we don't see him for a bit now.

We are keeping the daughter of some friends for a day. She came over yesterday and spent the night. Her little brother is supposed to be born today ;) and her parents are in the hospital.

She missed her mother and was crying around midnight (she's 4) but has done pretty well for the most part. It was her first night away from them.

She and Mrs. AA will just have a fun and occupying play day today while we await news.

Aaaauuuggghhh - I'm having a Charlie Brown day. Why is it that the Yankee Peddler Festival website ALWAYS has a problem during these three weeks in September???

The stinking server is down and I can't get ahold of anyone who can do anything about it. Two years ago the server (which was in West Palm Beach) was hit by a hurricane. I had to switch to an alternate service for the month. It took 5 days to switch over. Last year, another hurricane. This time my service provider moved his servers to Wisconsin. The new service provider decided to pick this month to switch over to new server software. Egads.

Well hello everyone....

I can hardly believe it's been almost a month since I posted. I'd love to tell you that I've been so busy having fun - etc...that would be a lie - haha.

Lets just say the "mid-life monsters" have been winning the battle......THIS IS NOT FUN AT ALL!!

I've scrolled thru all the misse dposts (please credit me for a lame ketchup).

My updates:
1. Me well....see above and draw your own conclusions....

2. Hubby - doing well -completed his Real Estate classes and now has to complete the paperwork in order to take the exam. He was away last weekend with 2 brothers and his dad - "scouting" for their upcoming moose hunting trip at the end of this month.

3. Alyssa - moved into University of Rhode Island on monday - dorm is old - looks very "institutional" - she's happy to be there though - has friends there - still with new BF - he is 10 minutes away - living off campus this year. She just called and said she was going to a job fair today.

4. Chris - started school last week - as per the norm I have not seen a book yet but he says his classes are going well - he got the 2 classes he wanted - CAD 2 and Web Page Deisgn. Had his car registered for 2 days and it broke down - transmission issues - thankfully the dealer that the previous owner bought if from has agreed to honor thw warranty - they still have it though and he's getting very itchy. His job ended on a good note - the head of the Survey Dept came to the job site that he was on to say bye and told him to contact them next spring for a job!! *** Brought him for his senior pictures yesterday....can't wait to see them.

Woke up this morning to no hot water....funace tech is here now.

now to end on a good note...check this out......I am going tothis with my 4 sister -in-laws!!

http://www.countryinnsinthewhitemountains.com/holiday_cookie_tour.htm

I'm glad to be back...hugs all around....

I'll give you credit for the update if you save some cookies for me :)

Who needs Eagle Scouts when you have Moose Scouts in the family? :teeth:

Congrats on Alyssa moving in and getting settled, and that Chris' warranty was honored.

Hang in and keep us posted.

Shhh...don't call attention to those comments ;) Just post until it rolls over to another page. :)

Blah mood... have choir tonight... so :wave2:

I'll be around later :)

Junior and I went to Ponderosa for lunch today, so that was nice. Other than that, I haven't done much today. :teeth:

Hi Paula! Good to see ya!! Yay for Alyssa moving in and Chris's warranty being honored. The cookie tour looks awesome! :)

Yum. Sue, Sarah, and I went to Red Lobster last night to spend James' gift card. Not one that he gave us, but one that was given to him. I guess he should know better than to leave that sort of thing lying about.

Yankee Peddler website is still down.
There is a huge traffic backup on I-271 (again).

Calgon, take me away. :cloud9:

That'll learn him. ::yes::

Sorry about the other headaches though.

Look Kimmar, we are moving to the next page!

hugs to all!! I promise to stop by this weekend!

Morning, all.

Been over at the SoCal boards a lot the past few days, to do my research. Then Ed and I are trying to track down the free Legoland tickets the boys have-he moved them when me moved the office out of the back bedroom and that stuff is in disarray. He's insisting I took them, but I told him they'd be in my wallet. (nothing leaves there, lol)

Haven't packed yet, so there's still room for someone to be stowed in my luggage. :teeth:

Howdy, Paula! Missed ya!
Hey Pam, any of those conventions coming this way? Just think, next year's an empty nest-Gunny will love it!
Alan, awww how sweet you've got an extra princess while her mom adds to their family.
Tara, sounds like you need my wine rack sent over pronto.
Bethie, cool-boy wonder was nice!
TC, I'm kinda feeling like charlie brown right now with those tickets. Hope you get the website issues resolved.
Lainey, so your relaxing Thursday night is gone, relax this morning!

Gotta hop in the shower and start the rat race!
