evening gang...bummer of an evening. I was supposed to go bowling but mom wasn't feeling well so i ended up staying home. Now I find out that Astrid was latw showing up and so my team would only have two players tonight. oy vey. oh well.

Howdy!

Another long work day, but this one was really productive. My assistant came in to cover the morning shift (she'd been scheduled elsewhere) but I still went in and got a lot of organization done! Ya wouldn't know it to look at my house, but I like things very organized!

Last night was ladies night out at Melting Pot-sooooo yummy, then PoTC afterwards. WOW! I had to be good and not tell Ed everything. Special EFX were great.

Tara, OUCH! Glad the doctor gave you some good pills for the pain-bummer about bowling.

Cindy, let me know about DL when you come back, okay? Just under two months to go here.

Nope. Mrs. AA and I do not go to the movies often.

However, she mentioned letting the girls go see Cars this weekend with her neice who babysits them often.

I told her we could drop them off for that showing and then pop over to see PotC for us.

She liked that idea So maybe we will see it this weekend also.

Suzanne....No time to relax this summer...yet.

Alan..we did Space Quest. The larger themes, like Arctic Edge, are too lengthy for our 2 hrs. We tried cutting them, but the teachers get overwhelmed trying to figure out what to use and not use. This year went great. Biggest turnout we have had in years! Tomorrow we are taking the youth fishing....it is very humid here, so should be a 'cranky' day for all of us.

Tara...sorry about the finger thing. Hope it heals quickly.

Went to the dentist yesterday...came out to a car that wouldn't start. Turned out to be a loose cable on the battery. I didn't fix it since I didn't know which cable and it was scheduled to go to the mechanic after work today...well it went this morning after I spent 20 minutes figuring out which cable and getting the car to start. Todd was sound asleep...lucky him. The good part is that the car is getting fixed a day earlier and is costing 1/2 as much as the estimate.

Tomorrow we are taking the youth fishing....it is very humid here, so should be a 'cranky' day for all of us.

Yay! for the under estimate for sure! Great that you fixed the car so it could go in and be fixed.

I "fixed" my car this a.m. with a coffee-style "air freshener" and one I don't have to hang off the rear view mirror since that is illegal here. I stopped at Starbucks to treat myself to a grande coffee and proceeded to dump the ENTIRE contents on the passenger side floor. So I must shampoo the rug in my car now. I used the veh. at lunch and it is distinctly odor le coffee!

How will you be spending your weekend?

Oh and it's PotC today after work if we can make it for the "senior special." Must hurry home.
