WHEW! Thank goodness, my 19-y-o DS just called from his GF's house....he drove home ALONE from our property in upstate NY (via the NY THruway) and the weather was really ba-a-a-a-d (lotsa rain and its DARK).....

Doesn't that just freak you out?? Our son went to Maryland for an OA Conclave a couple of weeks ago and had to drive his Mustang Convertible on the turnpike. I think I died a dozen deaths while he made the 3.5 hours drive.

Yuck - you must be getting those storms that we had for 3 days.
Glad he made it to his GF's safely.

I wish I could've joined you last night, but I was aching from all the work and wanted to lay in bed with my laptop. So I downloaded some things to it and played there for a while. Since it no longer has internet, y'all will have to wait until I get my new one to do the whole late night weekend thing from my bed

Actually that was odd... the reminder came up for today, but the date listed for the reminder wasn't today's. That was mighty odd there. Considering I'm way off on what month I think it is even, I didn't trust myself when I 2nd guessed my thoughts aobut it this morning I have no clue why the reminder came up this morning for me I thought for a second, yabut didn't we celebrate Dave's birthday at DL two years ago... what a dork I am for not looking closely
