Kristy and Nancy sneated while I was on the phone!! Morning, ladies!!

Sorry about the snow, Kristy. I heard that on the news last night and said a quick prayer right then and there! Hope the forecast turns out to be an exaggeration and you just get dusted, if anything. I'm ready for spring, too!

Nancy, we want details!! What kind of food, what kind of wines and definitely detail the desserts!! You DID have some chocolate for me, didn't you?!!

Food....let's see if I remember it all
Caesar salad, assorted cheeses and crackers, veggies, Thai chicken skewers (really good), salmon, prime rib, shrimp, rice with pineapple, rolls. Too many desserts. Lots of little finger-food ones. Chocolate eclairs (had one), truffles.....had one a dark chocolate...so yummy, a chocolate mousse on a wafer (very rich...and presentation was great), lemon meringue cake, cream puffs, tarts of some kind, chocolate covered strawberries.....more but I actually didn't get to try them all
Wine.....don't know. I don't drink it. Lots of kinds though....and beer too, coffee and tea.
They also had the "house" band playing.
The captains were roaming around. The "kids" want the captain to marry them.

Beth, DS is still coughing but, doing much better. I'm heading home in about 30 min to pick him up and head downstate.

Nancy- Sounds like a lovely evening.

Kristy, more snow? Maybe it won't be as bad as they say. Did see where they had snow in Atlanta.

Ok, must tidy up and get ready to zoom out of here.

Looking for good places to stay in North Carolina, Pennsylvania or anywhere else near you guys besides Virginia....(Didn't know if you seen where we try & stay in a different state each year & we've done Va, South Carolina already....

What is a good place to go to the beach that isn't gonna break us...?
Had Kill Devil Hills in mind & possibly Ocean City...Any good advice/ideas will be appreciated..

Thanks for all the PD.
Had an evening of “sleeping in” yesterday. When anyone of us needs that extra 5 minutes in the morning that we never get, we call “sleeping in” going to bed earlier. I didn’t intend on it, but I fell asleep very early yesterday evening while watching TV in bed waiting for DH to come home and I woke up late so just rolled over and continued. It was just what I needed. I’m feeling a bit more able to handle the things life is throwing around.

Liz, not meat with the cabbage and noodles. We will put in cottage cheese, but usually have that on the side since not everyone in the house likes them with the cheese.

Mmmm Suzanne is making fries.

Tina, let me know when it’s safe. I am thankful for your cleansing efforts.

Yea Kristy, good news about the mammo! Sorry about the snow stuff. Glad it’s not here; had more than our share this year.

Elaine, maybe some of the cabana boys could help ya out hmmm? Might make you feel a bit better.

Nancy sounds like a great event. Glad you enjoyed it.

We are getting in the high 50's this weekend. WOO HOO!!

Found myself 2 tops for $4 each! YAY! Found the boys some shirts for $1.98 each at Target! YAY! And DH got 2 shirts for $8 each! YAY!! I love winter clearance sales.

Have to head to youngest DS's school in a few hours for a conference.

Todd...my suggestion is that you visit Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. It's BEAUTIFUL!!! You could also do a beach trip. My favorite area is Atlantic Beach(Morehead City) & Emerald Isle(they're 15 minutes from each other)

Hi all, defunking here and not quite in teh mood to post/reply the way I normally do. Just tired I think. I want to get on my bike but I might skip it to let muscles heal better I enjoy riding so hoefully I can keep it up... maybe I'll do some weights instead

Anywho... Clay... I get to see him in about 1.5-2 weeks!! I wound up buying Kelly Clarkson's CD to see what I'd be in for with her. I guess I am not all that impressed. Not bad, but nothing I can get into.

Went to the library, then to CiCi's Pizza for dinner. Youngest DS's school had a fundraiser there today. 10% of all the money spent from 5-8 goes to his school.
