Paula, I watched 7th Heaven last night. It was like extreme makeover night on the kids! Can you believe how much they changed? Ruthie looks like she wants to be a model or something, and the twins are huge.

Don't have time to write any more, but wanted to pop in.

Also, if you can spare thoughts and prayers for Scotty today, I'd appreciate it. Today's the day

Suzanne after your day it sounds like you need a day to just relax and do nothing! I wouldn't know what to tell the teacher either. No help on trying to get kids to sleep, if I can't I just take the original version of dramamine. Knocks me out after 30 mins

Paula, enjoy your day of shopping. I tried to go to Kohls recently to find new sneakers for my trip as well and came up empty handed. I am far too picky sometimes. There was a pair of shoes I did like, but they were hot pink and black... I prefer other colors to that Actually if I perk up, I will have to go looking for a new winter coat while they are on sale. I only have on leather jacket... no insulation with it.

So did anyone else watch Surface? It was good......very different. Interesting to see where it is heading. I will be tuning in again.
We also watched Las Vegas and Medium I love the start of a new season ....yes, I am a dork When I was a kid I memorized the TV guide....of course there weren't very many channels back then

I do have an exchange friend that has a link to her shirts in her siggie.
I don't think I can compete. I am looking forward to it as a project to do with a friend. I am sure we will get many laughs out of what we do ....and we have a pile of cheap shirts to laugh over

I am going to do a few errands today and go to a movie. I want to see March of the Penguins before it leaves.

Nancy, yep tis me with the Tempur-pedic. It is WONDERFUL!! Some people say that if a person tends to get too warm at night, they might not care for the Tempur-pedic because it sleeps a bit "warmer" than a conventional mattress, but it's not been a problem for me, and Tom who does seem to be on the warm side, doesn't seem to have any trouble either. As far as the comfort level of it, it's hard to describe. It's just... immediately comfortable. Nothing pushes on you, there's no "finding that comfortable spot", it's just immediately perfect the minute you lay down. If you haven't yet, find a store and try one.

Poor Neil. I wish I had some words of advice for you Suzanne. I can only think of the traditional solutions. Reading to him, warm milk, calm wind down time, etc. Sorry. I'm not much help.

Don't try to read the whole thread--it's well over 300 pages!! But Midnight and Julia and Nicks Mom have both set up sites where you can check out and copy some of their really cool designs. In fact, Julia and Nicks Mom customized a couple of hers for me! What caught my eye was the tie-dyed Mickey shirts at the very beginning. I REALLY want to try that!

Yeah, I do have to admit, they do seem to be a bit warm. Since I sleep under a hundred blankets winter and summer, it doesn't really bother me, but I could see where some would have a hard time with it.
