Played with paperwork tonight, ordered BaB outfit and helped Mom do the same for the exchange I hooked into.

Tomorrow morning I get to have barium for breakfast! Going for the barium swallow test and will be glowing afterwards for sure. Going to let out the dogs and read some now.

Morning all! I have a little time before I have to get ready to take Cleo in. I have the first appt of the day so at least I won't have to wait long with her when I get in there. Of course I'll let you know how it goes!

I agree, that gingerbread Mickey is adorable!!!!!! Oddly enough that Snowman kind of scares me! But thanks for the pics, Suzanne!!!

Rose Mary, what are you researching exactly? I think I finally figured out what I might want for a tattoo again, but I have to look up another artists... the one I went to moved The other place that was recommended just didn't do what I wanted. Though this one is different so we'll see.

I came in early today to get some work done and what did I do for the 45 minutes???? I cut pictures to put into some new frames. ugh! Like I couldn't have done it at home today! oh well, at least my men look cute!!

Good Morning Everyone.

I am feeling quite good this morning so far. I have an appt with the orthopedic doctor to make sur the ole tail bone healed properly - same doctor that did Jeffrey's shoulder surgery so I'm looking forward to meeting him.

I feel like I had a work "epiphany" yesterday...I actually stood up and spoke my mind - evidently my company is having "Customer SErvice Week" - all kinds of games - contests - food - etc - well my staff wa snot even informed - we were only asked to "cover the phones" during a meeting...so....I e-mailed my supervisor and asked why?? - Flat out told him that this is bad for morale...(now I do understand that many on mystaff has small children and might not go into the office for this however that's no excuse for not including us) - they say we are part of the team well they have to make us feel that way and if I want to do a good job it's up to me to say womething about it. So...my supervisor was very apologetic - etc - asked me what he should do etc.....INCLUDE US - that's what!! haha. Surprisingly me who never speaks up - never makes waves - avoids confrontation at all cost felt much better afterwards!!

Suzanne - hope the headaches subsided - I too just love the gingerbread Mickey - not crazy about Stitch - though I did go on the Stitch ride last week.
Lily - good thoughts that the tests go well

Whew! Two classes down, 3 to go.

My first class was fine...one tried to argue with me but I won.

The second class this one kid, who is for all intents and purposes is illiterate, was being a royal pita. I was trying to work with him and every time I left him alone he started acting up. Finally, when I had them move to their next stations he refused to sit where I told him. :O He said he couldn't sit next to this other kid (this was a control issue) so I said fine and told him where to sit one seat down...he wanted to move farther away so I took control and told him he would sit where I told him. I said it nicely..once, twice, and then you would have thought my head was about to start spinning and pea soup was going to shoot through the air....I screamed "SIT DOWN" You could have heard a pin drop. I looked around and saw 6 other faces staring at me withe their mouths hanging open. The kid I was in front of fell into his seat so fast I wanted to laugh. Then for the next 5 minutes I spoke barely above a whisper because they were still in shock so there was no sound coming from them!! I know this is not the right way to handle them, but my god haven't these kids ever been made to do what an adult tells them to? I know they have learning disabilities...but geez...this is ridiculous!!

Did I forgot to say about Cleo when I got back? Well the vet took some blood and will run tests to make sure all looks okay. She did gain about a half a pound though

Bethie are you enjoying your daytimes at home like this? I find it is so much easier to get things done when you have daytime now and then at least to do it

Afternoon all...

Doctors appt went well - he says it's healing - just don't sit for too long at a time - guess I have to take alot of work breaks.

Shopping went well - bought a CD and DVD for my godson and ended up getting the new Family Guy CD for Alyssa. Then on th Kohls - bought Alyssa robe , slipper socks - pj's and myself a really pretty fall sweater - all for $56.

Just finished lunch - turkey caesar salad.

Pam got plenty of laundry here for you to do

...and Beth - you can do the ironing when Pam's done.
I'll Supervise.

Tara.....unreal......the lack of respect totally floors me - I don't knwo why kids aren't thought this?? - when I was shopping with Alyssa the other day there were 2 teen girls talking trash - very loud (they definitely wanted to be heard) - it was so totally disgusting - looking back I should gotten the store manager - no one should have to listen to that.

Wel - gotta do some cleaning before work - more later guys.....
