Nothing very interesting going on here--Dave is going up to NJ again this weekend to help paint his mom's house and visit. I'm working all day tomorrow and Sunday is our lucky day--we have inventory. I'm scheduled for 4PM to 3AM and not looking forward to it. Happily, we have Starbucks coffee and I cleaned the coffeepots today!

Hi all, back from a great dinner out! I'm not a steak person, but this stuff was awesome! Have some left over for tomorrow too.

When I got in the car to go to dinner, Luis had 5 roses on the seat. He had a sweet card with a copy of the song we danced to at our wedding inside

Paula, glad that all went okay at the doc. My dad gets an EKG yearly too. Of course he also goes to a place that specializes in heart troubles, so tht might be why (he doesn't have any, but you go where your insurance lets ya )

Elaine, I was poking around the BaB site and found these BaB going for auction on EBay for the support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. One of them is an autographed Hugh Laurie (House M.D.) and for some reason I just thought of you liking that program and all. I know he is not your fav actor on the series, but thought of ya just the same.

My test went fine yesterday, good news...nothing found. Bad news...nothing found. Now I move to the next testing. Scheduled in November at Cleve Clinic. Oh well. Came home did a walk to get some of the "breakfast" moving along and then decided I needed to veg a lot. Had a major headache that just would not quit. Finally eased up about 9 last night. All is much better now and I am deciding what I want to do walking/wogging-wise this weekend. Susan Komen event is here tomorrow a.m. and Towpath run is Sunday. Both are 5k and not sure if I will do that or just go off on my own. I'll decide when I wake. Off to read and rest now. Still in Mitford series.

Lily, that is actually very cool! I like Hugh Laurie quite a lot! I have a lot of respect for him as an actor... and he has one heck of an amazing American accent! If we hadn't done so much with Cleo at the vet, I might have to get that one... it's super cute

morning gang,

i didn't even touch the puter last night after I got home. My last bell gave me such a bad headache that all I could was lay on the couch with my mouth hanging open. I feel better today.

Astrid adn i are going to a party this afternoon. A girl we used to work with is having it b/c her boyfriend returned from Kuwait a couple of weeks ago. So we are celebrating that. it was suposed to be a cook *out* but I'm thinking it is going to be a cook *in*. That wench Tammy is drowning us!! Not to mention this is down at SandBridge which is right on the beach. So it should be fun!!

Ethan just woke up (good kid!) so I'm going to go fix him some breakfast. More later....I hope!

Ok funny story, well maybe you had to be there. One of those pass it on messages was sent to me via email from my friends at work. It was a picture of a yellow rose and some saying about friends and hope you get a dozen or something. So I reply all that I would be happy with just one dead rose from someone special. Don't you know those silly girls show up at my desk with a dead rose? I love those guys!
