Morning all!

Thanks for all the b-day wishes for Julian. He picked Dave & Buster's for his b-day dinner and we had alot of fun playing all the games. Man, those games are soo addictive. I got hooked playing basketball. :earseek:

Let the boys stay home from school today....shhh!! :teeth:

We're taking my nephew to see Robots with us, then going to Chuck E. Cheese. I got picked to be a "secret agent" (like a mystery shopper thingy) so gonna go do that and let the boys and nephew run around like crazy! :teeth:

Our church is just a small church right now. A group of us left our old church and formed a new one. My BIL is one of the pastor's.

We have just a contemporary service and I really love it. Its nice that we all know each other and are a "family." OK, alot of the church actually IS family! LOL My BIL is worship leader and we do alot of upbeat, gospelish (is that a word?) type of songs. Lots of Clint Brown, Hezekiah Walker, etc.

We have a 2 hour delay here - got whalloped with more snow than the forecasters were predicting.

JRKaren - My friend's 3rd son is currently going through Confirmation - he's 14. And last year one of DH's nieces had her First Holy Communion - she was in the 2nd grade. Maybe your cousin got the two confused.... But I would be like you, I would not want to be a sponsor to a child that I didn't really know.

Pam quickly dashes to her closet, grabs her Pixie Dust Wand and liberally sprinkles pixie dust over Liz..... :wizard:

and then throws caution to the wind and adds some :banana:

I'll bring photos of my DD to distract the 2 older boys with! :teeth:

And I'll throw a couple of the tokens on the ground for the 2 little guys to fight over and then I'll go hide in the Skeet Ball Corner!!

They just put a Chuck E. Cheeses in at the nearest mall (20 minutes from us) last year. DS always looks longingly at it - my kids loved Chuck E's when they were little. We would drive 1 hour each way to go there!

JR Karen - I made my confirmation in the 6th grade - I don't even remember who my sponsor was. Sad that you are feeling "guilted" into making the decision to be the sponsor. Neither of my kids made Confirnation - since I no longer practice I told them it was their decision - I did not want to be a hypocrite and force them into it.

Well - I finished exchange shopping yesterday - or should I say I had to stop - lol. I wil try to get it send out Monday. Yankee candle has some cool new "combo scents" - Macintosh and Granny smith - yummy!! Also picked up Chris' TV - and.....he started cleaning his room last night - he brought down about 4 trash bags so I'm thinking this is major - long overdue.

Alyssa just called - got her GPA - 3.5 and class rank - 30 out of 135.

Going out tonite with hubby and brother in law and wife to see a new C&W singer.

Having a great time at work today! We have out the calendar and working on scheduling some vaca dates. Love that dreaming! Sad to say some dates I would have liked may not work out for me. Oh well, I have others. We do share here.

Lily...have fun dreaming. Todd and I just canceled our trip to TN. Decided to stay home and do something local, then put the money we saved towards spending for Disney in June.

Back to working on budgets for me :sad2:

Biking and reading... ah! One of my favorite things to do. I also listen to music while biking/reading. Also treadmilling. Wonderful therapy!!

Heck of a day here... finally made myself start to slow down. I am happy though, less than 30 minutes before I leave, and I might just sneak out a few minutes early as well

Oh could y'all keep my friend Dawn in your prayers... her grandfather died today and she's upset. Also some nitwit at work really laid into her when it wasn't something he should've done to her in the first place. She's kind of shakey

Pam, you just cracked me up there. Sorry y'all got that much snow. We barely got any yesterday... got some today though.

Paula, I think you were wise about Confirmation. I truly believe it is somethign that is done as a ritual at too young of an age, rather than someting people want to do with their hearts. Not that a younger person couldn't know and decide for themselves, just that I think if it is more of a choice, it is better and means more.
And Congrats to Alyssa on her GPA!!!!!

Amanda, sorry you canceled your TN trip, but glad you will be getting more money for WDW because of it.
