Morning!! Don't get upset but I might not see you guys until *next* year....................

;)

JRKaren - I use photo square tape. I can't get to my scrapbooking stuff because of the Christmas Tree, but they are in a box and I get them at WalMart.

We went to the Cleveland Zoo Lights last night - unfortunately I think 3/4 of the state of Ohio were also there!! :earseek: Can we say crowded, crowded, crowded??? And rude, rude, rude???? Lights were nice, though. Sherry - it did take us 2 hours to walk through!! :) And we couldn't believe that you still had all of that snow!! WOW!!

Lily - that's a bummer that you DH has to work. :guilty:

Boo-Boo! Hello!! A low-keyed Christmas for ya......ha! NOTHING about you is low-keyed, babeeeee!! :rotfl: Just wait until you get those dozen of little Boos running around.......;)

Nancy - what lovely, elegant dresses!! The colors are just beautiful! And that cake is making my mouth water!! What did they decide about flowers?

Elaine - very nice pic of you and Luis!!:)

Shep and Amanda - adorable photos of your girls!! You guys are going to have to beat off the boys in a couple of years!!

Beth and Liz - why are you two such bad influences of everyone???? :duck:

SSB - you need to enroll in Basic Ya-Ya 101.......

Caroline - my DD would love to have a ferret! Somehow I don't think her dorm would like that very much...... guess she'll have to stick to Beta fish!! Oh - and for the record, I do not cook ferrets, no matter what Boo says! :scared1:

Well - I need to log off and go to the grcoery store, finish up lots of work stuff and then get ready to go to my friend's NYE party.

HAPPY 2005, YA-YA SISTERS AND BOTHERS!!

Good morning.
Christin was the one that tried all the dresses on.....she loved it (you don't want to know what size fit her  ) ....about 10 of them. We all like the chosen one best. And that's not the one M'Cori had chosen before. Trying on makes a big difference.

Not too much was decided about flowers. We chose the florist and let him know we were coming.....got an estimate  We know what and how many of things we are going to use and that's about it.
They will be communicating over the next few months.
He said the best thing to do is send him pictures of what they like, and then he can work with that.

so......not to much left to do. They need to find a hotel for out-of-towners and some little things. I need to find a place for the rehearsal dinner.
I will post the wedding dress when I find out the number....I think I know which it is, but not sure.

NYE will be an early night here.....we have a 3:00 airport run!!
Geoff and M'Cori are going to dinner with friends and then we need to get them packed.....they have so much MORE stuff then when they came. Luckily they got a set of suitcases for Christmas ;)

Anyway....be safe, have fun and enjoy the day and evening.

Morning YaYas! ...and a Happy New Year's Eve to you!

Scrapbook adhesive... I use the Hermafix runner thingy Karen. I love it. You can work with the piece once it's down, pull it up to reposition it if you need to and if you don't like what you've done, the adhesive dots easily come back up w/o anything being left behind just by rubbing them with your finger.

Caroline, I didn't realize ferrets had health issues. Poor babies. :( I'd still love to have one though. They are just so darn cute! Can't have too many furry babies! :)

Hi Kimmar... thank you for the link. I will go peek at it in a bit.

Hey Boo! How are ya? Any NYE plans? Or did you tell us already and I skimmed too much? Eeep... company will be here in three hours and I have too much to do and what am I doing... sitting here like a lump. Sigh.

Nancy the dress is beautiful!! So elegant!! Sounds as though the wedding plans are coming together beautifully!

Jar had quite a breakfast feast this morning! :p

Guess I should peel myself off this chair and get to work. I hope all of you have a wonderful 2005... much love to all of you and God Bless!

Did a 'little' pitching this morning....decided to have a yard sale come spring and have the money go towards our cruise. Usually I just donate it all. I still have plenty to donate.

Tara...an SP is an upgraded Gameboy advance. It has the light built into it. There is a new one this year called the DS. It is a dual screen gameboy advance.

Nancy...beautiful dresses

Need to get a shower....later

Hello, everyone!

We had a nice time at Epcot yesterday. Finally, got a good picture of the four of us at innoventions!

http://204.146.52.215/epcot1.nsf/postcards/30F476?OpenDocument&CDB3AB

In all the trips since we've moved here, I haven't been to my favorite show, Impressions de France-finally got to see it last night. Timing was great, we got out about 20 minutes before IllumiNations, and set up camp at Morocco. It snowed on us, fireworks debris, but it was great as always. IllumiNations has always made me cry, but "Let There Be Peace on Earth" gets me even more. Note: We usually watch at Germany, with England as the fall back, Morrocco is a rather obstructed view.

We also got to check out Crush's Turtle Talk. If you haven't gone to the Living Seas in a while, now nearly the whole attraction is devoted to Finding Nemo. Turtle Talk was absolutely great, Dude. Totally awesome and a definite must do for everyone, dude!

The best part was that we had a late lunch before heading into the park, that we decided to have a dessert snack at the Land-it ended up being dinner, lol!

Amanda, those pictures were adorable! I didn't realize Mandy's birthday was so close to Christmas. It's good that you separate the birthday celebration from the Christmas celebration.

Note to anyone who's got a Gameboy SP. Neil's died on the way over to WDW and to him, that's the end of the world. So when we stopped for lunch, I went into Target to see if they had a car adaptor. Got two Mad Katz kits with a car adaptor, headphones that fit the SP, a case and three cartridge cases for ten bucks each. Worth it for the sanity. Fortunately, if both die at the same time, my car has four outlets.

Nancy, those dresses are beautiful. It sounds like you got a lot accomplished while Geoff and M'Cori were there. Maybe you can get back to more DISing soon!

Karen, Good girl, getting the rest you need. Have a nice, quiet new years. Thanks for the idea for dinner-I have a bag of frozen shrimp!

John, thanks for more pictures-it's aways good to see more of our DIS brethren! Hi Gina!

If anyone ever wants the WDW scrapbooking stuff, let me know. I could get into scrapbooking with their cute stuff.

Tara, I've been there. Neil still does it-he's the Ritz thief. He's gotten in soooo much trouble for eating a whole box of Ritz crackers by himself. The bottom drawer of the fridge is fair game-juice boxes, cheese strips, fruit. It used to have yogurt, but lately, they don't eat it. If they get up before us, they can have stuff out of there.

Todd, so the bail money might get used on Liz and Bethie, huh?

The house needs cleaning here, too, but fortunately, there isn't too much to do with all the stuff packed away. We'll be leaving the tree up until my store holiday party, which will be in two weeks. It looks kinda sad, the only ornament on it is from Animal Kingdom. I didn't even put the Mary Poppins ornaments on it.

I have to take the boys to redeem their gift cards, before they drive me nuts!

Suzanne

Amanda sneated!

That museum looks great. Lots of stuff to do-and you had the big kids to keep you company, too!

Suzanne

Suzanne,
I LOVE your family's Epcot photo!! Sounds like you had a great day!!

Those were great pics Amanda. I really like the one of Mandy with her hair hanging all out of the goggles she had one.
Suzanne--great family picture. Your boys are so cute.
Pam--I just discovered that Evan has a weapon you dont have--a kniflerifle (pronounced knifeL rifeL)
LOL Evan got some Army guys for Christmas from Santa and he came looking for that weapon. I love the things kids come up with.

Deena, those army guys are a trip. Kevin found one in his collection that was headless, so he put a lego square where the head once was. A true blockhead, lol.

Now, if only the child would finish this movie so we can go!

Suzanne

Quick EOIP post!
Our friends should be getting here in a couple hours. Garage door and opener almost done. Whew!

Pam, so glad you made it to Zoo Lights. And wouldn't you know.....it rained over night and almost all our snow is gone. LOL

Amanda, great pics. Looks like a good time was had by all.

Nancy, beautiful dress. :)

Kimmar, thanks for the comment on my boys. :)

Deena, sorry for not being sisterly....I just hate cleaning. :teeth:

Suzanne, great pic. :)

Happy New Year to all my sista's and bothers!!

Hey everyone!!!

Dh let me out for a bit today to go get what I wanted for Christmas. I am sorely lacking in clothes but didnt want to go buy all new because I want to lose weight, so he took me to a consignment shop....this was my idea not his. I had a BLAST!!! I came home with 11 shirts, a sweater, a suit, a pair of pants, two pairs of jeans, three pairs of shorts, books for the kids, a tiny battery operated piano for the kids, a tank for dh's army men...the ones my SIL got him as a joke. And what did I spend on all this??? 50.00!!!! Everything was 50% off!!!! This was the BEST Christmas present for me!!! The store was not crowded and I was in and out in about an hour. It felt so good to get out for a bit. Im now home with instructions to do NOTHING but rest for the rest of the day.

Amanda those are GREAT pictures!!! I need to get some things together for a yard sale too. I tend to donate things and I could really use the money to fund a Disney trip.

Suzanne what a nice looking family you are!!! Thanks for posting the picture. It's just so neat to see who I talk to all the time. Your'e welcome for the idea for din din. Dh makes awesome shrimp scampi. It sounds like you had a great time at Epcot. Please be careful with the raining down of the fireworks stuff. My SIL and Niece were badly hurt and burned in Epcot when they were hit with a spent shell a couple of years ago.

Oh Tara I remember THOSE days. My eldest was like that. In fact my dh is still actually like that ROFL. I can tell where he has been just by following a trail of stuff. I can tell you if he comes home at lunch and exactly what he had for lunch. Makes me nuts.

Pammy Im so glad you got to see the Zoo Lights. Im sorry it was so crowded and you ran into such rude people. Hope today isnt too busy for you so you can have some fun!

Well gonna go get a snack and then hit the couch for awhile. Im tired. I will checkin with ya'll laters!!!

HUGS!!!!

So pooped lately, for no reason. Maybe it's the season.

Bwwwahahaha @ the EOIP guesses! My turn, my turn! Eat Out If Pam'scooking Bwaaahahahaha!:rotfl: (Yes, I took my liberties with that one.) Love ya PAM! ANd little boos??? Don't rush the stork!! :earseek: If you see him near my house, rev up the Pam-mobile and we'll have stork etouffee.:)

I love the Poohzanne's pic-very cute! Wish I was there. (I am secretly pricing trips to Negril right now in another window. :earseek: )

Kimmy, you there? I have no exciting plans for NYE. Just going to stay in oh! And get up bright and early NY day for my first ever snowboarding lesson-yeeeow! I foresee pain and embarrassment. And didn't you see the item about me ice skating? Be nice to me and I'll streak the 2006 Olympics for you with a sign that reads:"Kimmy and Apolo, 4 EVAAAAA!";)

Nancy, keep the wedding planning updates coming! I don't want to do it ever again but I LOVE hearing about other people's planning. And I'll probably stick my nose in your business about it, too.:teeth: So exciting!!!

KARRIE! I so hear you about not wanting to buy clothes until you feel your normal self, weight-wise. I was sure I was going to get back down to my waif-thin figure I've held off buying really nice, major things...been FIVE years now!Lol! But , i know you will get where you want to be soon.:) But I'm glad you got to reward youself a little! :cheer2:

Ok, time she is up. Must go see about a trip to Anguilla, now! I have such a rich fantasy life.

(I seriously hate the smilie limits.)

BOO!!!! Tell Caroline that I do *NOT* cook ferrets!! :scared:

Nancy!! Oooooohhhhhhhh....... I love M'Cori's wedding dress! The back of it is just spectacular!!!

Happy New Year, everyone!!

Mad love to one and all!! puckerup: :grouphug:

Ohhhhhhhhhhh Nancy that gown is just DEVINE!!!! It is just so beautiful!!!!! I love the back of it too!!! I zoomed in on the bodice. OMH that's just so detailed and pretty!!!

Dh got rid of the tree and got my living room back to it's normal self. I cant stand it I have so much room now.....well it will feel like that for a couple of days. We decided that next year we are getting a lighted fake tree. How we didn't have a fire here I don't know. That tree, though watered, was SO dry Im surprised it didn't go up in flames. It looked great because it was sprayed!!!

Boo thanks for the vote of confidence. It's not going to be easy to go down in weight right now because I have to be on Prednisone for the next 23 days but once that is over it should start dropping if I am careful. The clothes I bought today can get me through until I just can't wear them anymore because they are way too big and I wont feel too badly because I didn't spend much money at all on all those clothes. You will get where you want to be also. It just takes the time to put into it. You have been so busy with life and a wedding and all kiddo. It will come in time.

Welp time to get dh moving on dinner. IM STARVING!!!!! One other bad thing about Prednisone. I have to be careful with my eating habits because Im hungry all the time from it.

Happy New Year to you Ya-ya's!!!
All the best in 2005 :)

PS...that is one lovely wedding gown!

Happy New Year's Eve Ya Yas!

Hope all is well out there in Ya Ya land. Night shift tonight should be pretty quiet. No one thought to bring in any wine though, so I guess any celebrating that goes on here will be a little subdued. Ah well, I'm not much into the NYE thing anyway, and I'm making OT pay after midnight. It's a good deal. I'm feeling a little out of it again today .. if only my right war would 'pop'! Driving me nuts! Also, Scott and I got letters from his mom which have stressed me out again (I won't bore people with details, but we don't have a good relationship with his family .. that's putting it mildly). I'm kind of at my wit's end dealing with them. Bah, no dwelling! :teleport:

JRKaren, Mexican food?! I'll be over in an hour! Hope you have a great time with your sister. Scrapbook kick, huh? I have pictures and scrapbooks, but so far no 'kick'. Maybe in the new year they'll finally get done.

Hey Kim (Snowwark), any spare chocolates for a fellow Canadian? I'm a fan of coconut. ;)

Amanda, a karaoke machine sounds like fun. Hope you can find another one. Loved the pictures! Looks like a fun time.

Lily, hope you have a good unwinding weekend. You know, every time I see one of your posts I think 'I could really go for a citrus swirl right now'? lol

Sherry, hope the garage door went in ok. And I hope Junior and the boys put everything back again!

Nancy, sorry to hear your computer is acting up again. What software is giving you a hard time? The bridesmaid dress is beautiful, and I love the plum color. And the wedding dress is gorgeous! She'll be breathtaking.

Karen, glad to hear you're resting up. Keep taking it easy. Very cool about the shopping. Sounds like you got a great haul!

Tara, yikes! Sounds like a mess. I admit I laughed about the dog cleaning up the floor, though. Our dog was the best vacuum we ever had - she had fun while she worked, too.

Pam, I'm glad to know you don't cook ferrets. It wouldn't be too cost effective anyway - with what I've spent on their various medical problems my little guys are probably worth $1000 a pound. ;) I don't think most dorms are ferret-friendly, no. But Beta fish are cool - we have one of those too. It's funny when he 'threatens' us when we go near his bowl. Hope you have fun at your friend's house tonight.

Kimmie, you definitely can't have too many furry babies! I'd love to have more ferrets, but two wear us out as it is. ;)

Suzanne, that's a great picture from Innoventions. We'll have to try sending one from over there next time. We always get ones at Imagination and they're always *awful*! The holiday version of Illuminations did me in too. I always get misty, especially for the 'We go on' bit, but the ending pushed me over the edge. Glad to know I'm not the only one. :)

Deena, a kniflerifle? Is that a real thing? (I feel so stupid asking this - lol).

Boo, your definition of EIOP is funny, liberties or no. Poor Pam. Don't tell her I laughed though .. I don't want her coming after my ferrets! :rotfl:

Kimmar, thanks for the link. I'm off to look at that now.

GRRR! Scott just told me that the bank cashed a check post-dated to Jan 1 2005 *yesterday* (our rent check). And we didn't get paid until today. It's a good thing that account has overdraft, but still! Sigh - 2004 is going out on a bad note. :(

All the more reason to move to 2005! I hope everyone has a wonderful night, and a very Happy New Year! I hope 2005 will be the best year yet for everyone. Stay safe out there. Hugs to all!

Just shoot me now. I cracked a lower rib on the right side coughing. Oh MAN is that painful!!! Im trying heat and Advil for it now. Of all the stupid things to happen!!!

That's awful. :(

I agree with everyone posting in your other thread - head for the ER now to get it checked out. It'll be way busier later and tomorrow, not to mention your doctor will be swamped on Monday with all the weekend sickies checking in. Go make sure it's not something worse, and maybe they can hook you up with some stronger painkillers too.
