Holy cow!! Where am I?! I leave for a few days and someone redecorates the whole house! This is WEIRD!! Hmmm. Nuts. This is going to take awhile to get used to.

Nancy! You are just too sweet for words! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! There's confetti all over my kitchen floor. Hee! I think I may leave it there awhile. ...and thank you YaYas for the birthday greetings! Ya'll really are wonderful! Had a nice day with friends that came over to help me celebrate. They even sat through Fellowship with me.


I've been absent forever and owe ya'll a huge ketchup, but this new format is freaking me out maaaan! I can't figure anything out. I did however see that many of you are getting your packages! Yay! Exchanges can be so much fun!

Soooo.... I wonder.... what was wrong with the old look? Okay, I'll reserve all other complaints for another post. I haven't looked around all that much yet, so I'm sure there's lots of good things to be had with the new look. I'm off to try to find one...

Of course as we were leaving out the door, the post man was walking up our walkway with a package. Greg was very excited as he thought it might be our new DSL modem...did I forget to mention dial up is going bye bye on December 2......but lo and behold a lovely package from RoseMary was in hand!!! So, here is what a got...lots of goodies packed in tinsel....that really made me laugh~ what a great idea for packing material.....anyway Barkley got a nice package of Puparoni....he was thrilled, and thanks you!!! There were lots of very cute Minnie items, a mug, a magic cloth, book mark and stickers, YC tarts, Peeps (my favorite, which I don't think I put in my survey) bath cavier (yummy smelly bath beads) a Beanie Baby reindeer, a mug mat that smells oh so yummy, very cute holiday socks with Christmas trees all over them, the cutest oven mitt with blonde brownie mix inside and recipe cards too, an adorable little notepad that says peace out, and last but not least a very cute ornament with my name on it!! Funny story about the ornament, I had bought a quite a few of these to send out.....the same exact ones....great minds must think alike!!! I love it all!! Thank you RoseMary for the wonderully thoughtful package! I just love it!!!!

Mamma Mia was awesome. After the show some friends of ours just happend to be downtown, so we met them for drinks and dancing. It was a lot of fun. If only my head felt the same way this morning!

I think we are going to go do some shopping. Greg needs some work clothes. We will see how it all turns out. He may have a headache too......It really is a shame that we are not "good" drinkers......2 drinks did this to me!!! LOL!!!

So this is a total EIEIO post........hope all of you traveling YaYa's are finding time to pack. Anyone finding room in their suitcase, please let me know. I would love to stow away!!!!

Off to finish up what is left of this wonderful 4 day weekend. It has been really nice spending lots of time with Greg!!!!!

Cold weather to the north and west?! Send it on down!!! It is currently 57º here and headed for low 60s today! Feels about 10º warmer than that out in the sunshine!!

Great package, there, Liz!! Sounds like there are several of us who will be sporting holiday themed feet this season!! I still think that is soooo funny about the jingle bell ornaments!!!

Lily, I couldn't stay up late, either, and we did exactly the same as you. I picked up Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas yesterday and we watched that, then hit the sack. We lead such an exciting life.......

Karen, glad you got up your tree. Our tree isn’t up and I don’t know when we will get to that.

Dave, thanks for the heads up about MK on the 4th. I am thinking that we probably won’t be near there either.

Two rooms cleaned, linens in the laundry. Onward. Packing has begun, well at least trying to figure out what to take. Not quite sure how to pack for weather there. Blue jeans seem to be my choice. I will be most happy anywhere in them. Oh, and my coupon for JellyRolls is packed!

Hi All!!!

Filming went well. We left the Chldrens Ministry Director's hubby go get the kids from that class. I figured the teacher would give him less of a hassle. We got some great footage today of the kids seperately and then all the kids in Kidz Church. Some fun stuff. I hope Mary Beth will like it. I can't wait to see it all edited. Then it was off to Walmart to get the youngest some new jeans. He was looking like Floodwater Floyd there.

Gonna do laundry today, have munchkin try on all his old pants, see which are too small, and give those to the Lords Gift House. My eldest is reading Fellowship of the Rings and will be at that most of the day. He has to finish it so that he can take a test on it tomorrow for points. The points correlate to a grade. He has to have 20 points to get an A and this book is worth 29 points if he aces it.

I swear someone gave my dog BARKING pills. That is all that dog has done for three days. A flea sneezes and he barks!!! It's making me NUTSO besides making me jump out of my skin every time he does it because he is usually right behind me!!!

Liz sounds like a wonderful package!!! RM ya did good!!!

Blech, still tired and run down from this cold. No fair!

Whining done... woke up from sleeping a while ago and I have two loads of laundry going (which sounds like the thing of the day for everyone!). Going to work on the third so I can get through as much as possible today. Not sure when I'll get to the front room... maybe tomorrow, so probably Christmas pics then

Beth, I would kill for that weather! I will gladly send out 20-30s your way!

Thanks Lily (and Beth too) I was having a good time! Barbara is a sweetheart and a devil just like her cousin. Wendy (her mom) said we are like minded... not sure what she could possibly mean by that

Movie was good.....followed the book pretty closely too

Heard from Kristy.....she is in MI visiting in-laws. Her exchange shopping is done, but she won't get it mailed out until Wed.....so someone has to wait a bit longer

I don't remember who it was who wanted the links that have been read to change color but I found out how to do it. Change your color scheme to Swan and Dolphin and the links you have read already show as teal and the ones you haven't read yet still show as black. I just did it and it works.

Well another mystery solved. My eldest lost one of his shoes last week and we have looked from pillar to post to find it. My youngest found it in a box in their room. How it got there I have not a clue but it earned littlest a dollar for finding it!! My eldest even handed over his gameboy and said my littlest could play it all he wants for finding his shoe.

Good luck with laundry, Nancy I am about to iron some myself. I just put the 2nd load in the dryer and the 3rd in the washer, so I think that's it for me today.

Thanks Karen... I hate the colors of the Swan forum, but it might make my reading go a bit easier. I wonder if they change with every single stupid reply that is made as well... I suppose I'll find out!

Oh and just found out the DVC color scheme will change font colors as well. The bold still happens, but the link colors change with one that is read. Might stick with this one for a while, but not fond of this coloring either
