Wouldn't you know....I finally get a morning with no bosses in the office and the internet is down. Thank goodness the boy-genius was able to get it back up from home, so I am still alone here! Other boss is at WDW with his girlfriend (she has a conference at Coronado Springs this week!), so he won't be back till tomorrow or Wednesday!!

Not much to say, though......still feelin' like I should be hiding in a hole somewhere......hormones, stress, or what, I don't really know. But I've been keeping up with my thread reading and keeping all of you and your various joys and concerns in my prayers.

Tinkerbell got her shots. She wasn't too happy with us and ignored us for awhile. She has to have part 2 of the Distemper shot in a couple weeks. Oh joy!

Couldn't get Julian into the dentist today. He's going at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Jonathan has an eye exam at 12:45 tomorrow, and DH has to meet with the insurance co. (of the lady who hit him) too. Never a dull moment.

DH will not be going back to work until November 8. Which is why he has to meet with the insurance agent again. They have to pay all his lost wages.

Sherry, I must say you inspired me to make spaghetti for dinner. With just the two of us, I don't do lasagna, but it almost all tastes the same (okay who am I kidding, lasagna is wonderful!!!)

I suppose I should go downstairs and mix up some of those garlic parmesean breadsticks. Luis won't be home for about an hour though.

Story time to make y'all laugh...

I was going to make spaghetti tonight... well I do something odd and add corriander to the list of spices... it adds a taste that Luis loves. Well I heated up a little bit of olive oil and then added the corriander (as usual)... well this time my spatula melted on me So since I didn't want the plastic to melt and then stick to my pot (wanted to avoid having to totally scrub the pan) I added some soap and was just about to put water in it. Well did y'all know that Dawn burns quickly, and when it burns it smokes badly and makes the entire kitchen smell of soap? Yeah, well I didn't So now, the meat is back in the fridge (still mostly frozen) and I suppose my dinner tonight will be those garlic-parmesean breadsticks I already made up!

I just hope the smoke clears before Luis comes home

Nancy... that sounds like such a scary surgery. I will be keeping your BIL in my prayers as well. It's frustrating to be out of the loop that way. That happens with us with certain areas of the family. It makes me crazy.

I know I have not been around much. I have been rather moody lately. I have been reading just have not been into posting. I am hoping that after my Dr's appt tomorrow and a few days at Disneyland I will be back to my old self. I should be packing now but am procrastinating. Just am not into it for some reason Does someone want to come and pack for me????
