Lily I assume Liz was talking about the boarder on her wall as in wallpaper boarder--atleast that is the boarder I was talking about, lol. My bdrm has wallpaper one wall but the boarder goes all the way around and its not my style for sure.

Heading off to brave the cold in a few to go to the BMV (I think... it's realy cold out still though). I would rather go today before the snow hits. Yep, we flooded something terrible last week and the week before... now it's so dang cold that it's all freezing. So to add insult to injury (like destroyed homes from a flood wasn't bad enough) those frozen "pools" in the yards will be covered with about 4-6" of snow. I love winter 
Amanda, you are making me hungry with all that talk. But yep, muscle weighs more than fat, so don't look at the scale as much as the clothes and how they fit How is Mandy feeling?

Deena, yes, you are right.....wallpaper border is what I want to get off my walls. My bedroom is a taupe color and the accents are deep purple roses. I am SOOOO tired of purple and sage green.....most of our house is purple and sage green. So, as soon as I get the border down...I do believe that I am painting the room a nice warm yellowee gold. I bought a duvet and shams in a very pretty pepperberry color...(kind of red and kind of pink)and it looks very nice all together. Still gonna keep a little green in there as well, but more of a granny apple color......I think the bathroom is gonna be that color. More border to take down there too!! Argh!! I think I am gonna be taking border down for a while! Sure you don't wanna help?
Stacy glad to see you are feeling better! Never fun to feel down. Not a big math person here either!! As a matter of fact, I hate it!!! Just keep plugging along. Don't be afraid to get help if you need it. I went to many a tutoring sessions to just get through pre algebra....don't know what I would have done if I had to get through "real" algebra.
Lainey, good luck finding your brace. Could the kitties have helped to hide it? They haven't lost anything of yours for quite some time! Have fun at the DMV....I don't have to go till april. I hate going to the DMV....takes forever to get through here!!

I am gonna have to chime in and say stay off the scale. Of course you are gonna build some muscle. I agree with Elaine....just go by how your clothes are fitting!! I am happy to say that I am down 8 pounds......Saturday though is my cheat day for January....we are clelbrating Greg's birthday....and we are going fonduing. No way to spare any calories or fat grams there!! And since it is Greg's bday, he gets to pick where we go.
This weekend we will be spending the evening in Chicago at the Hyatt. It really should be a lot of fun. I think we have some shopping on Michigan Avenue planned and lunch at Grand Lux Cafe(which is owned by Cheesecake Factory). For the evening we will be meeting some friends for dinner, drinks and dancing. Should be a good evening!!
Karen, I hope you can find some compromise for the sleeping situation. Seems like DH has really tried to make things nice for you. Greg comes down in the morning every morning and wakes me up so he can snuggle with me and the dog. I wouldn't trade that time with him for anything!! I realy miss it when he is away or sleeps in!!

Tara, what is up with you these days? How is the diet going? So far so good here. I am working on doing Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile walk 4 times a week. So far, so good......I am hoping ot do the 1/2 marathon at Disney next year...so I have a bout a year to train!! So, I am hoping to lose 70 pounds by next time at this year. Wish me luck!!! We can encourage eachother through all of this!!!

Suzanne, enjoying your time away? I too want a vase in my car now thanks to you....I am trying to figure out how to do something with my cup holder.....I am thinking it is not gonna be the same!! Oh well......I do proudly display my toppers on my antenna......so I never see them anyway!! Almost time to put my St. Patty's day one on! Whoo whoo!! I think I have had 3 differant ones on for Valentine's Day! I do love the new one the best though!!
Well, I am off to go and play in the cold. More errands to run and I need to get an oil change and trannie flush!! Could it be any colder to have to do this? I know I should have done it on the weekend.....but the lines were crazy long.

And a bright and beautiful good afternoon to you all!! I can't believe how crazy busy it is here at the office! thank goodness there is a weekend in a few days!!
It's positively frigid here and I am very thankful for my nice warm coat, hat and mittens. I know there a many people without, so I am reminding myself of that in my glee of celebrating winter. It was 12º when I got up with a wind chill of 0!! And we have a 70% chance of snow tomorrow--they are predicting anything from a dusting to up to a whole inch of accumulation!! Wheeeeeee!!

BTW....note to Caroline....I love my Canadian Neighbors....however, if you're gonna send us this arctic air could you at least include some snow? Geez...I' freezing hiney off (which there is quite a lot to freeze) and there is not even a lick of snow to look at!!
