Im sorry but the picture of that lemon tree being flung across the kitchen is making me ROFL outloud. Im gonna wake someone up here ROFLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! That sounds so much like something I would do!!!! Tooo funny!!!!!

Whatcha gonna have for din din? Ive been snacking my way through grapes, pistachio nuts, strawberries......these late night munchies are the pits.

Im glad you are almost done with your paper. Gonna go to bed when you are done or just stay up as you usually do on your schedule?? I keep thinking about laying down but knowing I will be up in a half hour again anyway....kinda whats the sense of it LOL.

Actually I really dont feel all that bad just really wired. Most all the bronchitis stuff is gone with the exception of the cough and even that's not as bad as it was. So Im just kinda up and wired rather than feeling bad, wired and up LOL. Yeah the stuff the Pred is causing is bugging me but ahhhhhhh that will go away as I go down. Bad thing is the Tidy Bowl man and I are on a first name basis now. Dh isnt gonna like that!!!! ROFLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! Uh oh I think Im dating myself. I hope you know what or who that is.

Well good thing Im up. My youngest just woke up screaming. He wet the bed and it scared him. I got him up, changed him into goodnight pants and clean jammies and put him in bed with Daddy. He is a happy camper now. I think he thought we would get all upset. Naaaaaaaa nothing to get upset about. He just isnt ready yet so it's back to Goodnights for him. He was so cute because we put clean sheets on the bed tonight was being overly concerned because he wet them. I said there are new clean sheets in the dryer and they can be put on in the morning. I will strip your bed tonight and we can fix it later. He seemed so comforted that neither Dad nor I got mad at him even at 3 in the morning.

Must be a full moon in Florida this WAY early morning... SSB up also... but, er, um... didn't have same problem as your youngest. Over the past weekend, however...SSB's youngest did.

Morning all! I really have a bad case of "don't wanna be here" syndrome ;)

Nancy, good luck to Christin! Could be fun to do that on the side! Money is nice :teeth:

Liz, good luck with the icestorm... fortunately we are too far south for this storm (like we need more snow/ice or even the cruddy rain we have right now). Sorry you drove so far for that!

$100,000/year? Dang, that would be nice even here in more expensive Ohio!!!

Karen, is it possible some sort of stress thing is keeping you up? My dad had issues with that when he was totally stressed from work. Nothing could keep him alseep.

Caroline, glad you got the night off and sounds like you made good use of it!! Good luck with the U of Washington stuff! And your film? That is too funny!!!! We were never *quite* that bad :p

Wow, early risers here today... I wish I could say the same, but I was lazy and stayed in bed until the alarm went off... don't like cold mornings, so I stay in bed as long as possible ;)

Morning all!

We have a rain/snow mix this morning. Blech. Had to run out early this morning and buy a bag of candy for a party Jared's class is having today.

Staying home today and catching up on laundry.

Caroline, glad you got the night off. Good luck with your paper. Hope you find your motivation soon, too. I will hopefully find mine after this PMS'ing stops. :earseek:

Liz, good luck with your storm. Hope it isn't too bad and hope you don't lose power or heat.

Karen, sorry you were up again last night. Hope you can grab a nap today.

Hi Elaine!

That's what I say: don't sweat the 'small stuff''!

Karen ~
Did ya try taking a nice long, warm soaking bath before bed? That usually helps me. I also agree that stress can make nights sleepless....

Kimmie ~
You ANIMAL, you! :teeth: (ya better post some pix, gurl!)

E! ~
Soooo, just how long DID ya stay in that nice warm bed o' yours???

Hey, who watched The Batchelorette last night??

When I was in high school I met this really great guy. His name was Rick, he was deaf, and he taught me how to sign. We became the best of friends and we dated for almost a year. But then I went to college and he was still in high school so we broke up but remained friends. We stayed in contact since that time. He brought his wife to me after they ran away and got married and then when his daughter was born he brought her to me so I could meet her. We would joke about the past and how we came together and how meeting him changed my life and put me in the career path that I have now.

Rick came to town last August. I think I might have even mentioned it here. We went out to dinner and the wiatress was surprised when I wanted my own check. But hey we made one great looking family!! hehehe

I got a call last night from Rick's ex-wife. Rick died yesterday. At this point they don't know why, it was either a heart attack or he choked to death. His mom has gone to get him from Asheville, NC, and bring him backt o Virginia Beach to buried because this was his home for so long. I was in total shock last night and didn't really even absorb the news but today it has hit me like a ton of bricks. I have to let people around the school system know about Rick because there are many people that either had him as a student or knew him from his champion track running days.

Sorry to be a downer....just needed to talk.

gotta run, hope everyone has a great day.
tara

 Tara. It is always so hard to lose a friend.
Come here and talk to us anytime, if it is a help to you

COLD here today :( Is it spring yet?
The hill should be fun to slide down this morning

Liz...ya still got power?

Caroline....UW :) That's close to me!! (Don't let me scare ya off though ;) ).

Karen, sorry ya had another sleepless night. Dave was on Prednisone....for a couple days. He didn't like it and had the doctor find him something else. He was having out of body experiences

Kimmar....I watched the first half of The Batchelorette last night, but we are hooked on Medium, so had to watch that. Is Monday going to be the regular night?

:wave2: SSB, Elaine, Sherry....and everyone else.

Tara  I am so very sorry to hear about your friend... my heart goes out to you right now. We are here if you need us

Sherry, good luck dealing with the weather. Sounds like we are way far south of that mess!

Kimmar, considering I have to be at work at 7 am, it is never too long for me when it comes to lazing in bed. I probably woke up just after 5:00 and got up at 5:40 or so.

Nancy, take your sled ;) I guess I should be happy with this cruddy rain we have here considering the rest of the stuf y'all have!

 Tara
I am so sorry about your friend. I do remember you posting about going out to dinner with him!

Tara I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. As everyone else has said, we're here to listen anytime of the day

Nancy be safe going down that hill today. Have fun shopping with Christin

Morning Pam, Morning Deena, Morning Sherry, Morning Suzanne, Morning Kimmar....boy this feels like the Waltons ;)

Elaine my stroganoff recipe may not technically be stroganoff either. My aunt always fixed it for me when I stayed at her house. It's a pound of ground beef, dry lipton onion mix, and water...then add a can of tomato sauce, let that simmer and then add a container of sour cream. I let it simmer another 30 minutes to get the harsh sour cream taste out and scoop it onto cooked egg noodles.

Karen sorry you weren't able to sleep again. What did you end up choosing for dinner tonight?? I think I may be able to get you Venison here too. The Bison is definitely a milder taste compared to Venison.

Liz sorry that your immediate interview wasn't as advertised. Good luck today with the hunt. If you can get that salary from Suzanne I'm moving to Florida too ;) ;)

Caroline where do you get your skinless Bison dogs?? So far I've only tried the skinned ones and didn't really like them. I have a hard time dealing with meats at crunch when I bite into them. We love making Bison burgers at home. I still need to get up the nerve to try making a meatloaf and Chili with Bison meat.

My eyes are so heavy today and as usual I have no motivation to get work done  Thank goodness lunch is soon :earboy2:

oh...my weight loss motivation came back this morning when I stepped on the scale :earseek:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss....Hugs and prayers to you and Rick's family xoxoxox

E! ~
Ewwwwww! I'm still gettin' mah 50 winks at 5AM!!!!

Kristy ~
Your neice is such a cutey-patootie!

Nancy ~
I don't think so...wasn't it usually on Tuesdays or Wednesdays???

To my other ya-yas: Pammie, Beth, Sherry, Deena, Todd, Lil' Kim ONE and Lil' Kim TWO, Karen, Liz, Suzanne, hey, I know I'm probably forgetting SOMEONE out there...my apologies! :guilty:

Hey gang...thanks for all the good thoughts! I knew I could come here and talk!!

Sorry ketchup bottle is empty. But I have read and done an "internal" ketchup!!

tara

Due to technical dificulties between the DIS and our power company this is going to be a quickie!!! We got VERY lucky and never got the ice as predicted. Lots of rain but no ice!! Thank goodness. We have lost power several times today....not sure what that is all about. Maybe it is over now though, cause power has been on for over an hour!!!

Tara, {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I remember your story about going out to eat with him.......sounded like such a nice guy. Prayers for you and his family.

OK, That is it for now....I need to go back and really ketchup......will be back with a proper ketchup later in the day!!!

URCK!!! ACK!!! Stoooopid Dis!!!! :badpc: Where did my wonderful ketchup post go?!? It was finished and fantastic and now... it's GONE! Okay that just totally ticked me off!!! PMS and bad Dis days do not mix well! I need to throw something. I'll be back.

That is why I am keeping these all "Pop Daddy" posts!! Short and sweet!!! Ifeel your pain!!

Call me whiny, but I hate having to remember to do that every time I post... plus it didn't help when I lost power :p I know, it helps, but I wish we didn't have to go back :(

Yep, I wake up early,b ut I also get home early. I don't mind... going to bed at 10-11 pm isn't too bad :)

Kristy, I admit, hearing tomato sauce in stroganoff is odd to me... might try it some time though.
