Sorry I have not been around lately. We are gearing up for the play this weekend. All I can say right now is my heart hurts. I stood outside the house after we got home and just cried on dh's shoulder. The kids had gone inside the house so they didn't see it. I don't think dh and I will be getting involved with much more at church and may even curtail some of what we do now.

I am just too wiped out to ketchup tonight but know if you are hurting or in need....the prayers are there because I am reading.

Hello everyone. Just got home from work about a half hour ago. Put in four extra hours today. Company springed for a cab ride home for me! Yay! Back to the grind bright and early tomorrow morning. I like the OT check. I like the OT check.

Pooh's Pal, did you really just meet me and KristaTX last week? There were tons of Yayas at the Illuminations thing including KathyTX, CrazyBoutDisney, DaveH, and Helenabear.

KathyTX, I got one of the pictures from MVMCP in the mail, too. It's the one from the second MVMCP we went to. I know it's from the second one because the Goofy beanie baby is in the picture with us. Did you get that one, too? Or did you get the one from the other party? I didn't think the one from this party came out all that bad, although the colors seemed a bit muted IMO. OH, and we thought that taking a picture after midnight after riding Splash Mountain was a good idea because it was included in the cost of admission, and we had to try to get our money's worth since we didn't get cookies and cocoa that night.

Well, I think that will do it for now.

Yes - I will be writing the monthly $5,000.00 check to UPS this weekend. Really, though - for spending around $75,000.00 a year with UPS - for the past 21.5 years - I think they should give me something for Christmas.....

Went to Dad's tonight. He made dinner while I worked on his Christmas cards. It was very good....bar-b-que ribs, beans w/ham, fried potatoes and corn bread. I love the way my Dad makes fried potatoes. Back to being good tomorrow

Went to see Lemony Snicket tonight. Pretty good movie.

Can y'all keep my SIL in your prayers? Doctor is sending her to Cleveland Clinic to have another ultrasound on Jan. 4. Her bloodwork came back with an extra chromosome, which could mean the baby has Down Syndrome. Dr. said to prepare for the worst, but hope for the best. If this ultrasound doesn't show what they want, they will do amnio, which will give them 99% results. Of course, SIL is very worried.

Good morning all! I did wind up going to bed early last night (about 10 PM by the time I fell asleep I think). Only woke up a couple of times (which lately for me, is good) and finally got out of bed at 7. Feeling better now that I am rested, but this stupid congestion which isn't quite a cold is driving me nuts!

Karen, good luck with the play. They can be very stressful!

JRKaren, OT checks are nice! I must say I like it when we are allowed OT... this time of year definitely not though.

Good morning.

I think the house was a tad bigger than I was told at first.....but not much.
It is an old house and the hallways were very narrow, so it was hard getting around. They did have 3 stories, but the top wasn't used.
Food was spread all over, so people wouldn't gather in one place.
They hadn't put their tree up yet, to allow more space.
They had no "stuff" It was a pretty barren place. Nothing on the kitchen countertops.
I found an empty room and took a seat and just stayed.....people came and went.

Always proud of my kids!! This raise helped them a lot. They were just scrapping by and now they have a little cushion.....only 2 1/2 more years and they can support me! M'Cori will be out of school then and hauling in the big bucks.

Cookies and wrapping for me today.

Malls......my real slow down last night was the exit to the "big" mall! Dave's office is on the way to the mall......took 20 minutes lined up down the freeway to get off there~
And..... went to get in my car to leave last night, and apparantly when I was in Seattle on Thursday, someone took a liking to my yellow magnet ribbon supporting the troups....and they took it!! But....my Christimas Mickey topper was still there.

Feeling much better today... I think!! Well at least the cramps are gone but I seemed to have found a PITA!!! Last night Michele decides to call me at 11:30 pm about the van that is not there for them at National!! Well, of course it is not at National because the resevation is at Dollar!! Duh!!! If you would actually keep the confirmatins that I print out for you and take them with you, you might know where your stupid van is!! Next task, Randy ordered Michele a very nice bracelt for Christmas. Grandma is SUPPOSED to be here dog sitting......but guess where I am? Yep, you guessed it, sitting at Randy's desk typing this waiting for the delivery man to come. I am thinking a New Year's revolution is in order!! And that is NOT a typo!! LOL!!! Anyway, I was also informed that yet another delivery is to be made on Monday. Well I am positive I have something to do that day! I am thinking they better make sure Grandma can be here.....cause I can't!!!

Sounds like lots of business this weekend. I am happy to report I think our weekend will be pretty quiet!

Amanda, hope you got your much needed sleep and your head is feeling better! Sounds like you had one heck of a day! Dinner at Dad's did sound quite yummy!!!

Acutally Pam, that made perfect sense... I did read this before I left and took the advice (didn't post since that would take more time ) However the bad thing is I took Luis with me and we just got home I did find a shirt for tonight, and I found an adorable track suit type thing from NY & Co (under their city walk stuff if you look online) for 1/2 off, so I had to get it! So cozy. We also bought a vacuum cleaner. Luis finally convinced me that our attachments on the one we currently have are crap and we need a new one with the two cats. Who am I to argue with him, when he is right! We'll get it on the 22nd at the latest.

Nancy, I am so glad they will have a cushion now with this raise!! That is wonderful!! ANd yes, some day you can move in with them and they'll take care of you
