She is a mean, fiesty girl kitty :) My kity
She also does her duties in the tub and sink....and yes, they are easier.
Can't close the door,.....that's another kitty's sanctuary....at least not until Christin moves out and takes Sweetie with her...then I think new carpeting and closed door will be the first order of business.

Have fun shopping, Elaine. Christin has always wanted a pea coat....never could find one with sleeves long enough

Sherry......good luck to Junior and you too

:wave2: Hi Kim....yes, you can tell me the secrets too, Elaine. I don't really notice things like that. ;)

Okay....guess I must go out and do yard work

Ashford and Simpson.....Solid like Rock??? I think that was them waaay back late 70's. early 80's?

Lazy me still hasn't gone shopping yet. I was really hungry and we finally just finished eating lunch. Maybe I'll feel good enough to go in a few.

Nancy, I'll give Christin the ends of my sleeves... they are always too long for me
Good luck with the kitty... I would have no ideas for you. I would presume the scent there doesn't draw her back, but if there is the chance of that you can try those enzymes (never worked for us)

I have gone through gallons of Nature's Miracle and have tried Feliway....they don't work :(

Get shopping!! Wish I was going.

Lunch break is over...back to it :(

:wave2: Hi Sherry!

Nancy, I figured you would have already tried and honestly, I didn't think it would actually work. When it is attitudes I figure there isn't anything I can really do.

Found a pea coat on sale at JC Penny's for half off... very nice... sleeves a tad bit too long, but oh well.

Hey All,

So far so good. Eye is expected to come in somewhere between West Palm Beach and Vero. It will still put us in near hurricane force winds here. The weather has really deteriorated. Its very very windy and raining. Landfall expected around midnight. Last shutter is going down now. We have avoided putting the one on the kids room down as we have been running the A/C in there to keep it the cool room in the house. I think we are all gonna camp in there tonight so the kids wont be scared. We were outside a few minutes ago and lo and behold my car has a flat tire. Just what I need! That wasnt caused by the storm LOL. We are just hanging out watching cartoons and napping.....or at least I napped LOL!

I should have Christin look.....20% more off for her ;)
She said they had shorts for 77 cents!!

My part of the yard work is done :bounce:
Dave, however, is over extending what he will actually be able to do this weekend  Including chopping a tree down

Good luck, Karen.

Elaine Im glad you found a coat. Im used to the arms being too long thing. That always happens with me LOL.

Being cooped up with two ping pong balls is fun. Anyone wanna trade places?? ROFL

Good evening, everyone!

I had some luck shopping today. I got two pairs of pants, and a shirt! Yay! Now I can look all spiffy for work :) Did I really just say spiffy?

Hey Dec. travellers, I just posted a feeler on the meet board to see if there is any interest in a mini golf meet at Fantasia Gardens. Go over there and check it out if you are interested :)

Elaine, glad you got yourself a pea coat. I'm like Nancy's daughter--I have long arms, so I have a hard time finding jackets and shirts that fit my arms. Sometimes, I buy mens shirts for the arm length, and my sleeves stick out the ends of my jackets. It's crazy.

Karen, hope this storm passes by quickly with little damage. Hope the boys calm down for you

Sherry, you should have came here to do my cleaning instead of just taking a break. It would have been a lot more productive of you ;)

Kimmie, I am way too young to remember Ashford and Simpson. Like I said, I've heard of them, but don't know what the heck they sing.

Nancy, yuck on the cat pee. I'm allergic to cats.

Well, that's all for now. Hope some of you can stop by the chat room tonight and visit me :)

Good luck Karen... glad to hear that the worst of the storm should miss you.

Actually I was thinking that too Nancy. If it worked, that coat would be a great deal! I was being particular and wanted a charcoal gray one, and Penneys was the only one who had one that I was willing to pay for ;) They also had some shorts and swimsuits for $.77 or so at mine... none would've fit me though ;)

Glad you got your part of the work done... Luis just said he'd do the leaves for me tomorrow... I'm happy with that :teeth: Good luck to Dave!

JRKaren, I am short and have short arms to go with. It's funny, even when I add heels to my wardrobe, I still have a hard time reaching things due to short arms & even fingers. Oh well :p

Welp we have already lost power once. Thankfully it came back on. My poor little one freaked. Dh is trying to quickly make dinner before we lose power again. LOL we are having breakfast for dinner. Trying to use up whats in the fridge in case we do lose power. We are starting now to get the scary wind sounds. I hate that sound.

, Karen. Hope you don't lose your power again.

Elaine, glad you found your coat. I have the same problem with sleeves being too long.

JRKaren, I barely cleaned my house, no way am I doing anyone else's cleaning. ;) :teeth:

Unfortunately as dh said its not a matter of IF we will lose power again its a matter of WHEN. Power goes out here very easily. We were out on the front porch a few minutes ago as dh needed to get something from his SUV and we already saw several transformers in the area blow up. The wind is HORRIBLE out there. Its actually howling. Uh Oh just heard another transformer blow. UGH. That one was close because we could actually hear it from inside the house.

Karen, hopefully you won't lose power again... or at least not lose it for long. Check in when you can :)

LOL, Sherry... so no use in gett you to come help me clean mine? :p

I am still dealing with this headache... but Luis said something that made sense. I got annoyed earlier this week, so I cut out my Coke intake completely. I didn't even think about the caffeine thing... but Luis mentioned it and I didn't figure it could last this long... well... it can last up to a week. The timing was perfect for it to start too... and it was coupled with something else  Seems the Advil I have been taking most likely won't help either *sigh* I hope this ends soon!

Thought I'd share the pic that DH & the boys took last week.
Now, it isn't the greatest, because we took a pic of the actual pic. LOL
But, here it is anyway! :)

(Julian made a goofy face in ALL the pics they took. This was the least goofiest, believe it or not! LOL)

Sherry what a wonderful picture!!!

Wow we have actually had wind gusts here of 61 mph. Ive been talking to some people from my neck of the woods who are on the boards and Im glad to hear that Im not the only one to be fearful of the sound of the wind. I thought I was being a big baby but there are others that feel as I do.

Great picture, Sherry! What handsome boys you have there! Thanks for posting!

JellyrollsKaren

Sherry, you have a great looking group of men there!!! That is a great picture of them all :)
