I haven't been gone that long have I? :earseek:
It was something playing ketchup!

Karen, been thinking of you a lot and sending PD, positive thoughts, energy and prayers your way. Hope you have seen the worst of it. (I know it's still coming, but I still can hope.)

Elaine and Nancy, sounds like JC Penney has some great sales. I probably won't get there too soon. I just can't make the time.

JRKaren, glad you got to shop.

I have the long arms problem. My long sleeves are often like 3/4 sleeves. I really need to be careful. Tween size here. Talls don't fit and regs don't fit. I wish I could custom fit.

Elaine, hope you are feeling better soon.

Sherry, great pic of your men. I have that problem you are having and am taking "the purple pill called Nexium." I see the doc Tuesday for follow-up. It really is not helping as much as I think it should. Don't want to go to the next step either.

Nancy, sorry about the kitty problem. I've heard that unless it is a medical problem that mostly they will not "train." Sorry about those problems. Glad you got your part of the yard work done.

Everyone else, sorry if I didn't do a right proper ketchup.

I had a busy day here. Went to pick up my glasses prescription. I got polarized sun glasses with blended lenses so when I am out there I can read things if I want. After that I went to take my walk. I did pretty good today, walked for 2 hours plus a little and managed a great pace.

DH took on a big project. Nancy I know what you mean about taking on more than one can handle here. He stripped the table and refinished it. Spent a couple of days on this. The leaves are still drying. We have a table that takes two leaves so we can seat a good group. Then it was time to do the floors. What a mess! Well of course I helped as I couldn't stand to see him gimp about trying to do it all. So, I am doing laundry now and actually taking another break. (I consider my 2 hour walk my first break.)

Lily, sounds like you all have been busy. Glad you were able to keep up a good pace on the walk :)

I am heading to bed now... I hope y'all have a good night :)

Good night, Elaine.

Lily....well, the kitty is too old to train...I think she is training us
Our outside project is far from finished. He was supposed to mow the lawn, got side tracked with trimming bushes and trees and the lawn still needs mowing.
The pile to burn is about 10 feet tall
Still have more trimming to do too.
I would rather that he was refinishing something.....that's more in line with the things he usually does. He is a woodworker, so finishing things is his forte.....of course, I am still waiting for my DVD cabinets to be finished

Sherry....nice picture of your guys.

How is FL holding up?

home from wmsburg. had a blast. was suppposed to call Beth this evening to ride wild rides...got busy with Jarrod and his rides.. i hope she doesn't hurt me for that!

going to bed will do proper ketchup tomorrow.

tmd

Karen Im keeping your family in my prayers. Hope it blows over quickly and with no damage.
Sherry great picture of the boys and your big boy. I think Jonathan, Jared and Jordan all look very much alike and like your dh but I think Julian favors you more. The look on his face is cute.
I finished 2 pages tonight cropping and completed 4 more, not to bad if I do say so myself :teeth:
Our scrapbook store is killing me....having a 25% off sale. I want to buy everything, even if I dont use it now I know I will eventually, lol.
Nancy so sorry about your kitty problem. Thats the worst stuff to get out of anything. It doesnt come out :( We had a kitty that would always pee in one spot in our house. We try everything to get it to smell better. Well years later we had our carpet replaced and when they removed that spot of carpet I thought we were going all die from the horrible smell :crazy2: Our room hadnt been smelling, but when they pulled it up.....YUK.

Good Morning,

Im finally able to get on the DIS. Its been down most of the morning.

We faired well. We lost power three times but it came back up pretty quickly. They must have done some upgrades when they repaired our area after Frances. Im shocked we didnt lose power completely. No damage on our street but we havent ventured out past our street yet. We have to go fix my tire so we will be going out in a little while. It will feel good to get out of the house. I am totally shack wacky. We have been stuck inside since Friday night. Emotionally, physically, and mentally I am exhausted. Even though we didnt get the brunt what we got was bad enough for me.....65 mph wind gusts for several hours and 30 to 50 mph for many many hours. Please pray there are no more this year. Im shot as is just about everyone in Florida right now. After we get back Im going to busy myself with getting everything thats inside the house that needs to be outside the house back OUTSIDE where it belongs. I feel like everything is closing in on me and I cant take it anymore. I feel the need to get back to some normalcy. I need to get my house back in order. Shutters and storm panels are being raised or taken off today. Thats another thing thats getting to me and causing the closed in feeling.

Welp Im gonna get out in the sunshine for awhile and try to shake everything off.

Good morning.

Glad you made it through Karen.

Oh boy, Deena, I can hardly wait

Wasn't able to get on before I went to church this morning. So hi all! Still dealing with the headache... but oh well on that :p

Nancy, sounds like a lot of big stuff y'all need to do in the yard. Luis is going to do some yard work today, himself :) I am probably going to be a slug ;)

Tara, glad you had a great time!

Deena, that reminds me of removing the carpet we had in the bathroom when we first moved in here. Apparently the husband had terrible aim... and we removed this in the heat of September (one of the really miserable days we get towards the beginning of the month) w/o the AC running... Luis nearly was sick due to the smell. We have tile down now ;)

Karen, glad you did okay during the storm :)

Quiet day here.

Didn't go to church today :o. I wasn't feeling well, and neither was DH.

Deena, people think the 2 older boys are twins, and we've even had some people ask if the older 3 were triplets. :teeth: Julian does favor me....Jonathan does too. :) He has my blue eyes and he has the fairer skin of the 4. :)

Karen, glad you are all OK.

Tara, saw the pics from the meet. You and your family all look wonderful. :) Looks like a fun time. Glad you could go and enjoy it.

Oh yeah..........I changed my IM screen name........it is now dizneenut71. In case anyone cares. ;) :teeth:

Hi YaYas! I was thinking it was my computer this morning. It was the DIS. Oh well.

I was hoping that Karen was able to check in all ok. Glad to hear from you and since you are taking out all the out stuff from in that should be out , then I hope it stays that way. I don't even want to really feel what you all in FL have been through.

Elaine, hope you are enjoying your veg day and that the headache stops soon.

Nancy, a 10 ft high pile of stuff to burn! :earseek: We will all just have to come there for the s'mores party then! :teeth:

Deena it sounds like you are going to stock up then! You go for it. If it's on sale and you will be using it then gotta have it!

Sherry, have a nice quiet day then and hope you are all feeling better. (Is there such a thing as a quiet day in a house with four young boys?) Were you having a problem with IM that you changed your screen name?

Tara and Beth, those pics from your meet were fun to see. Didja take any more? Beth, you look so at home holding that young un. No wonder all the kids at church like to be with you! It's so natural looking. Tara, that pic of Ethan smiling is just adorable. I also had to chuckle about Jar not wanting his pic taken.

I made another walk this morning while DH and neighbor went to a hamfest at our county fairgrounds. I am really trying to get in as much time on the trail as I can before that bad weather gets on us. It is soooo soothing, and there are always lots of people out there.

I took my Mom to the Orchard in Rittman, OH and we came back with loads of apples. Apple pie tonight! We make them on a cookie sheet as this is one thing they eat. DSs are oh so happy about that. When we came from the orchard DH had the football game on and is now making dinner for today AND tomorrow! I am doing laundry and off to help with the apples now.

Since Sherry has mentioned changing her IM name I am wondering what IM service everyone has? I used to be on AOL, but since we canceled our account I was considering signing onto another, but I don't have anyone to talke with exactly.

Lily I am on AIM which you can get without having AOL. I also have ICQ but never really turn it on.

Ooooooooo could you send me some apple pie?? I LOVE apple pie.

Tara I have to thank you for the chocolates you sent in my care package. They got me through a lot of stress last night LOL!!

Hi Lily! Sounds like your having a nice day. :)
I just decided to change my name, that's all. :teeth: I signed the boys up so they could talk to friends, and decided to just change my name, in the process.
I use AOL IM and also Yahoo. :) I am shersherbaby on Yahoo.

Okay...s,mores here.....and apple pie at Lily's!!

I use MSN messenger....I also have ICQ, but never turn it on...and yahoo, but never turn that on either.

Off to lunch and a movie :wave2:

Sherry....feel better.

Sherry, I added you onto my Yahoo and AIM. I use AIM (helenabear001), MSN (helenabear@hotmail.com), Yahoo (helenabear) and ICQ (number is in my profile here). I think I mostly can be found on the 1st three though.

Lily, you should be able to use your old AOL username for AIM (which is free as Karen said). Many of my friends have done it at least.

Enjoy the movie Nancy :)

Good afternoon, everyone!

Karen, glad to hear that you did ok in the storm. Hopefully that is the end of them!

Boy, we have a lot of church going yayas here (including me). In my church (a Catholic church), there are very few people around my age at mass. Probably 75-85% of the folks in my church who go to mass regularly are over 60.

Did someone say s'mores? I'm there :) Yum.

If anyone is really bored, and wants to bug me sometime, I'm TLinden16 on AOL or 272-138-566 on ICQ. Lily, if you sign up for AOL, you can talk to me :)

Well, that's all for now.

JellyrollsKaren

Karen and Sherry I added both of you. I will message you with my user name. I dont like posting it on a public forum. Ive had too many bad experiences with weirdos.
