I just KNEW that I shouldn't have posted that I'm going to WDW, cuz' it'd jinx me, and looks like I'm RIGHT!
I'm sooooo mad right now, I could just spit!!!!
For the last 2-3 weeks, we have been T-R-Y-I-N-G to put together a vacation of some sort. We usually go away on vaca with my DH's sister and her friend; they are easy to get along with and we like their company (especially my 3 DS's!) Well, one day it's WDW, with the FTP (and I got a REALLY great deal!), changed to Ocean City, Md., then it's Williamsburg, Va., then it's Va. Beach, then followed by HersheyPark, and, up until last Thursday, it was Hilton Head Island, SC. (I'm not even gonna TALK about the details deciding which week we were gonna go!) Finally, at my DH's cousin's dughter B-day party last Friday evening, we were discussing an ill uncle who lives in Sanford, Fla. He was diagnosed with lung and liver c----- and was "given" about 2 months to live. Since he is the last link to my DF-in-L (who passed away 8 yrs ago) I suggested that some of my DH's family members visit him while he is still alive. Long story short, inquiries (both via phone and online) were made - we'd be renting a 29' RV and driving to Ft W. Today, I was to go to central NJ to the RV place to leave a deposit of $500, so I called my DS-in-L at work, just to get the final "ok". NOT!!!!! Now, because of, hmmm, let's put it this way: a "medical reason", they don't wanna go, which alters OUR plans, because part of the beauty of driving an RV was that there were 4 drivers instead of two, so it'd be smooth sailing straight to Fla., plus, lately, my DH doesn't want to go on vaca unless we go in a "group". So, now MY job is to call the guy at the RV place to tell him we AREN'T taking the RV, which he could have rented to someone else!! And, NO WDW!!! Well, 20 minutes later, my DS-in-L called me and asked if we could possibly go during the 3rd week of August. I doubt if my DH will take off that week (he owns his own business, so no prob there), because he is the head coach of his peewee football team and practice begins on Aug 4.....

..I guess that was sorta good 'cause if it had been a stroke he would still be messed up..
..but he seems to be completely normal now..
