I'm home today packing up boxes and having a mental health day. We have an appt this afternoon with a surgeon to discuss what he wants to do about the lymph node the mammograms revealed. *oh how I hate doctors offices*

Move day is Saturday so I'll be scarce around here after tonight. No telling when I'll be back up again.

Another RAINY day here today. I'm so sick of rain already.

Elaine, sorry to hear your still without power. I'd be po'ed too. Hope it comes back on soon.

Going to get a haircut in a few hours. YAY! I can't do anything with my hair right now.

We were gonna go to the Drive-In tonight, but if this rain keeps up, we'll have to go tomorrow instead. Stupid rain.

Hi all! Boring day here at work so I am stopping in.

Todd, I saw that and thought the same thing! Then again this is surrounding one person's travel so I am not sure it was done intentionally. I won't be going there and actually this time I have no desire to go to a meet there... that one I think I'd feel awfully out of place at.

Deena, sending some get well PD to you and your family. Sounds like you have had it rough there lately.

Sherry, I hope you enjoy your hair cut! I always find them to be very relaxing.

Yep no power last I knew... we aren't happy and it isn't just because of the storm now... at least they cut out about half of what they had last night by 10 am this morning. We'll see where we are at this evening

Hi gang,

Well, my son has stopped running a fever. Thank goodness! Hopefully, he will start to feel better soon.

My grandmothers radiologist said that the tumor had shrunk and that it was not as big as the last time. This is a direct opposite from the oncologist who said the tumor was gone. So now we don't know who to believe. We are hoping that the spot he saw was just swelling from the point of entry for the radiation. We will just sit and wait now until she goes back for her next ct scan ina month or two. ugh!

glad sickies are getting better, good luck moving Kristy, hope power is restored soon Elaine, Hope everyone else is having a decent day. I'm on my way out to my next class for today. I'll stop in and say hi tonight!!

Im going to get a complex if everyone doesnt stop calling me a sickie It almost sounds worse than I felt (if thats possible) lol.
Between me being sick and not leaving my house for week and now daily rain we have no food left I was forced to make a quick run for milk today between rain showers but thats its.
Havent heard from my FIL/MIL all day long. Dh grandma has to be out of surgery by now. Hopefully they will call tonight when dh gets home so he will now if it all went well. On the other hand I guess no news is good news.
Kristy--hope your docs appt went good.

I hate missing all the good meets. Its seems like all the meets are way up north. I guess none of the southerners want to see each other, lol.

Doctor appt went as expected. Surgery is a definite. It's scheduled for August 1st. We have to be at the hospital that morning at 6:30am for prep stuff, then a needle probe at 8:30 and surgery at 10:00. Almost passed out in the doctors office when he was telling me about the needle probe.

Don't know how on earth I'm ever going to handle having kids. Shew!

Off to do more packing.

Hi all. Hey Kristy, I'm around. Been one of the sickies. Guess the cyber germies got to me. Finally starting to feel human again.

Prayers and PD for all those w/family members who have been sick. Gosh, when it rains it pours. Seems like everyone has had more than their fair share of family woes lately. Maybe we need a YaYa ritual dance to ward off all those bad vibes going around.



Speaking of rain, we are getting a good one here. Can't believe Elaine has been without electric for so long. Hope your electric is back Elaine.

Ewww Kristy, I almost passed out just hearing about your needle probe procedure thingie. I'm sure it really isn't as bad as it sounds. I know this is easier sad than done but, try not to let yourself get too worked up about it. Sometimes we (at least me)
get all freaked out about things ya know?! I think the worst part is the wait. I know you must just want to get the darn procedure over and done with. I'll be keeping you in my prayers, ok?

Oh and Beth, I forgive ya'.

Kristy if your going to be a wake for the needle part why dont you ask your doc for some Xanax or Valium? This will help your nerves and you may not even care about the needle. Our dentist gives me some for anything involving needles and drills. And yes I gave birth to 2 of my 4 boys with no drugs at all (it wasnt by choice ). But come after me with needle and drills and there better be some good drugs around! lol

Sorry you been sick too Rose. This crap is going around everywhere.

Nancy finally got her magnet exchange out of the way so maybe she will drop in soon to give us a quick howdy.

Deena.....yah I'm going to be awake for it....but that doc knows I need some powerful stuff in my system first. The bad part is I have to be either standing or sitting...no laying down. Sitting is my choice....if I'm gonna passout...I want to be closer to the ground.

I'm not even scared about the labor part of having kids....it's the whole 9 months before the kid of giving blood and having to get tests done. Someone told me that I HAVE to get my finger pricked and I'm telling ya....standing, sitting, laying down....whatever....I WILL passout if I have to get my finger pricked. Just thinking about it makes my head spin. ICK!

How'd you deal with that Deena?
