Hello everybody! Where the heck are you all? I am in major need of support, prayers, PD, good wishes anything that may help me thru this major transition that I have accepted.

Ok, here goes! I received a call when I got home from work. I was offered the job I applied for, in Florida. I can't believe it but,

I ACCEPTED!!!!!!

I just can't believe it! OMG, what have I done? I know, I know all I have been whining about is moving back to Fl. And now I am scared to death that I might have made the wrong decision. I can hardly think straight. There is so much to do to get ready. AND I have never turned in a resignation before. How do you do that????????????????
And how are we going to move all this stuff, and sell this house and, and, and.....................Ok, gonna calm down now. I know I have to get my thoughts together and get organized. It'll all work out, it's what's meant to be.

I really am excited!!!!

Rose I had been wondering about your job situation. Im glad you took the job. It seems to me like its what you really wanted. Aand you do know now you are moving back to FL you need to have a house big enough for ALL of us because we are coming!!
I know its scary but look at it as a big adventure. Just find a good realtor and selling your house shouldnt be to much of a hassle. You will have fun looking for a new one!!

CONGRATULATIONS, ROSE MARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, that is just the very bestest news!!!! Don't worry, the house will sell. When do you start the new job and what industry? Are you in computers or admin. or accounting or what? And what part of FL?? My step-son and his wife just moved to Tampa and found a house in one day! Can't wait to hear all your plans and everything!!!

Well, today was my last day at the job from hell. Actually, it could have been a lot worse, but not much. Boss paid me right up to the last minute and then said he owed me 5 days of vacation, so he gave me that in my check too!!!!!! I don't know how he figured he owed me 5 days, but heck, I'll take it!!!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you everybody! It still hasn't sunk in yet but, YES I'm going home. I start Aug. 4th. I'll be doing the same job I'm doing now, underwriting property insurance applications, for a different insurance company. We actually already have a house in Fl. that we have been renting out. It was the reason I had to take a few extra vacation days. We had some renters that thought they didn't have to pay rent and had to go to court to evict them. They moved out and left the place a mess. It is a VERY small house, but we will fix it up and I'll be staying at my in-laws until we can move back in.

Beth glad you made it thru your last day. When do you start the new job? I think it's a celebration for both of us. Where is Sketti with those scrumptious slushies she makes???????????
