Tara--{{hugs}} for you. I have a 3 yr old too! Actually with 4 kids that are all spread out I can hit close to every age, lol. Actually Tara my 2 youngest are 3 and 1 so if one is not having a cow the other is. Evan --3 yrs--got up tiday with gunky eyes and crying. I asked him if they hurt and he just screamed no but was still crying. Made him a drs appt--he seems better now but Im a paranoid mom so we go to the dr often, lol.
Kimmar come with us in Dec, the more the merrier! I wish I new Beth and Elaine before Dis con. I had seen their names around but I wasnt a yaya so just occasionally past them on a post.

Lizzie, I can't speak for Betty, but I can speak for me, dont' worry about things like that. That's how we get to know each other. We ask and I wouldn't get upset for a question askes when a fairly normal presumption is made And Betty is right, we all learn something new daily from each other

I have to cut in here and say I know elsewhere someone had brought up nicknames for me... I respond to many. So E, El, Ellie, Lainey, Lainers and a few others are many used around here and in person. So feel free to use any.

Beth & Rose Mary, good luck with the job stuff. Beth, I hope you hear good news. Rose Mary, I hope you can decide waht is best for you.

I have met some at DISCon, but I do think the majority I have not met at a meet. I ought to look at the list and check though... I do travel for meets a lot.

I saw your Angel name Kimmar. For those who don't know it is what the RMC (Riddle Me Chat) group use as nicknames for each other. That is why I am Miss Terious (mysterious) in my siggy. Only a few Angels & Ya Yas mix around here

Actually, I am surprised at the number of Angel names that I recognize over here.

I had only popped in once during the "Visit another thread day" we had a few weeks ago.

Speaking of wedding thank yous on my mil crazy friends sent me a letter stating she hadnt recd hers yet. Now I did get mine about 6 months after the wedding--keep in mind though right after our wedding we found out my mom had cancer so that was a very hard time for me...oh and I was pg also, 6 weeks after our honeymoon. I wanted to hurt her in a bad way.

Deena, she sounds like a real winner there... if I knew that your mom had cancer and you had just gotten pregnant, I wouldn't even dream of caring so much. I think it took a friend about 4-5 months to get theirs out. Didn't bother me at all.

Ya Yas that I have met include Bonnie, Sherry and Elaine. Of course this was before we were Ya Yas. So those of you who think that we all have met, we haven't. We have just become close because of the DIS and this thread.

Deena....how rude of that lady. She should be yaya whipped! My goodness. Well....it's not 12:45 and I haven't done one thank you yet. Got side tracked onto another task. Oh well. Plenty of time next week. I doubt one week will make a difference since I haven't sent out the April bridal shower ones yet! Luckily my family knows how much I had going on before the wedding(work, school, wedding, house buying, and mother with mental issues).

Don't worry Kimmar and Lizzie....I forget names and nicknames from time to time as well. It's no big deal!
Where's Nancy with that handy nick/name list of hers. I printed it out once before but it's packed away already.

I have many family nicknames but poohbear and peanut are used the most often. Derek(husband) calls me snugglebunny b/c I twitch my nose like a rabbit does.

Betty, very good point! I am close to people because of the DIS, and I only met them because I am close. From those who have posted on this thread so far, I have met Deena, Betty, Beth, Nancy, Sherry, Kim & Tony (Serena too, but she isn't a regular). I SWEAR I had to have met Alan at WDW in Dec because I have a picture of him!!!!! I swore it was at night somewhere but since I can't find that picture, I am not sure. I just know that Dan has the 'same picture' and posted on a thread somewhere and it is bugging me since I can't find the thread nor the picture. But I know I have it! Others that I have met from the Ya Yas that I haven't seen yet are Todd (shep), Amanda (believe), and Bonnie. I hope I havne't forgotten a soul. I just find ways to make it to somewhat local meets so I can see those who have touched my life so.

Kristy, get crackig on those notes. Oh and we better watch it with nicknames because I am a bear too... and have been called Pooh Bear once or more. Mostly I prefer just 'bear'

that has a 3 year old with problems!!! hehehe I want more kids but at times I wonder if I'll survive this one. I'm a single parent so sometimes things make me nuttier than they should!!!

We did make it out of the house. We went and had his hair cut for the summer, nice and short. Then we had lunch at Chick fil-a and played for a while. I even let him talk me into ice cream from DQ (was right across the street from the Chick Fil-a) then went throught the grocery store withou one single screaming fit. I am now considering this to be pretty close to perfect!!!

Helenabear- my other cabana boy is Adrian Paul from the Highlander series. I actually wanted to name my first boy Duncan after the character but with my last name it sounded more like a doughnut shop "Duncan Dembitz" So I decided to go with one that would not be so detrimental as he grew up. (I sure hope spelling doesn't count around here....)

Man, y'all are mothy today!

Ran around doing errands this morning w/ youngest DS.

Tonight, I'm going to VBS with the boys. They are having a picnic afterwards, then after that, I have to help decorate the church hall for my future SIL's bridal shower tomorrow. I am the hostess and I am a nervous wreck. I absolutely HATE to talk in front of people. I hope I survive.

Elaine, we're probably going to go to WDW next December. I really want to go at Christmas time. It is just sooo far away. This is the 3rd time we've had to postpone. I'm beginning to think it wasn't meant to be.

Tara - Duncan Dembitz had me rolling on the floor. I think you made a good choice girl.

My two little guys are 4 and 2. My 4 year old has been in nursery school since he was about 3. When he's in school is the only chance I get to do any errands because it is next to impossible to go shopping with both of them. (maybe I'm just neurotic, but I swear they are possessed by the demon when we enter a store).

So imagine the lack of food in my house since DS 4 has been out of school since June 14. Thank goodness I'll be able to go shopping again come Monday because he starts camp from 9-12 every day.

Now my 2 year old never was one to sit in a stroller or cart for that matter. So he gives me about 15 minutes in a cart before he starts climbing out and wanting to walk. So my normal shopping which takes about 15 minutes if I'm alone becomes 1 hour with Zack. So can you picture me going through Shop Rite, like a woman on speed, grabbing everything off the shelves as I keep the cart in motion.

Whew!!!

Boy, once I started there was no stopping my typing.
