I"m a little behind, so thought I'd catch up.
I just remembered that I didn't post a Question of the Day
Question of the Day
Villian or Princess which are you?
What is the character you most relate to?
.
I'm not really princessey, but I would say I am a pretty happy person, and like to make others feel good and would be more of a princess, but if things aren't fair, I definitely have a villain side to me.
Thanks Dona for being our coach last week!

QOTD for Friday: Tell us what is working for you, what have you learned so far, and is there anything you want to tweak in your current plan that will help you reach your goal?[/COLOR]
I have learned that I need to exercise regularly to maintain what I have lost so far, and lose more. I also do best if I journal and ww works well for me, if I only follow it consistently. I've learned it was wise to throw away my large scrub pants when I bought mediums, because they are a bit tight in the gut now, and I won't go back and buy larges again, but if the larges were still in my house, it would be too easy to put them back on, and gain more weight back.
I need to tweak when I fall off the wagon for a day, not letting it become 2-3 days or a week.
I'm down another 1 and beyond thrilled. I snuck on the scale. I wasn't supposed to. I made a huge choice this week. I'll talk about that below.
Hi Kathy!!!!!
My motto is if I will eat in 10 years I must eat it now as I lose. It has worked. I am over 75 pounds down. Over because I spent years off the scale while I was losing. So I know 75 but I know it's much higher but don't have the proof.
I try to eat consciously - not emotionally. Fail sometimes but keep it up. And exercise.
Tweaking.
I made a huge tweak this week. I am suffering from major scale burn out. Big time. I felt that I wasn't celebrating any of my success. I was becoming obsessed with numbers and my goal weight.
So I made a decision to get off the scale. This is scary. But it's been okay. I cheated and jumped on today and am down one. I guess I'll have to literally have someone take it away.
I will get back on at or near the end of the BL. I really need to celebrate the now. And when I wasn't on the scale all the time losing weight I had no choice but to celebrate the now.
All the best to everyone,
Lisa
Hi Lisa!

Congrats on your loss!! This is a very busy thread, and it's great to see so many people sticking with this challenge this time. I didnt' have a scale for a long time, but would step on the scale at work at least once a week. When I changed jobs to a dept where there was no scale, I had to buy one. I just need to see those numbers, but it is such a game.
Down 1 pound this week. I'm really surprised because I haven't done well at all this week. I really expected to gain! I am even wearing some scrubs today that I haven't worn in forever. They were way too tight around the hips, and now they fit great.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Congrats on your scrubs!! It is such a great feeling.

The girls did great today at the cheer competition. After the meltdown and fiasco from two weeks ago - the neeed this.
They got 1st place out of 10 total sqaud's in their division (9 plus them), won best stunt's and they won Grand Champion's - meaning they had the best overall score out of every squad that performed that day.
Needless to say the girls are so excited and pumped right now. The competition tomorrow is at our own High School, so it's great going in with this huge win. The team that got second is a team that they each support (sit in front of them and cheer them on when they perform and at the boy's basketball game last Friday - the two squad's performed together during halftime) will be at the competition tomorrow - so it's going to be a GREAT competition tomorrow to see who wins!!!
Food wasn't good today - left house at 8:30am and didn't get home till after 6pm. Food was horrible there (hot dogs and chicken fingers). I was so starved when I got home, blood sugar was low so we went to chinese. Moving on - hoping tomorrow will be better.
Good luck today! Glad things went great for the girls.
EXTRA QOTD: (an addendum if you will
)
Since it seems like everyone likes the Disney Inventory, I thought I would add Disney Cruise line to our QOTD. I didn't add it originally, because I wasn't sure how many had been on DCL, but lets just add it for the fun of it!
]
I haven't done a cruise yet, but loved hearing about your favorite things. I'm planning to go on a disney cruise for my 50th bday in 5 years, unless I come into some money before then. They look like so much fun.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am back on track, and journalling my food, with no challenges in the near future, so life is good. I'm off to get some exercise in now.
