I was looking at the Treasure ocean view rooms and it looks like they are all in bad locations? I like to be near elevators/stairs and I avoid decks with kid's clubs. I was looking at deck plans and didn't see any ocean view rooms like that.

Part of the reason I wanted ocean view was to save money to use for the Rainforest room. I normally get bored after one sea day and I thought the rainforest room would be a good way to break up the boredom. Meanwhile, my husband said he would just do the spa and rainforest room the whole cruise, haha! After watching videos of the rainforest room, I actually think I would be bored there rather quickly.

We're 2 older adults, not traveling with kids. I want to do the Eastern itinerary. I'm on the move, frequently back and forth to the room and really need to be near elevators/stairs. I also like to be able to grab a couple paid coffees to bring back to the room first thing in the morning. So, being near a coffee shop is good. Should I forfeit the rainforest room and just get a balcony? How much is the rainforest room for the week?

The rainforest room is on the pricey side. We got it (optimistically) and did not use it as much as we had hoped.

It's 339 per person for the week. But I do think at that price point, it was pretty empty the times we went. So maybe the pricing that high sort of works. I've been in the rainforest room on the Wish where it was bonkers crowded and that's not fun.

A "bad" location for your preferences doesn't necessarily equate to a "bad" location in others' perspective.

The Triton class ships only have 2 banks of elevators/stairs instead of 3 like the Classic and Dream class ships. So correct, the Treasure doesn't have a bank of elevators/stairs as far forward or aft, which are where most oceanview rooms are located. Except deck 2 has midship oceanview but those are near the kids clubs.

We stayed in an ocean view on deck two for the first time on the treasure and absolutely loved it we were pretty close to the aft elevator bank. It really shined after muster drill when everyone was flooding the stairs to go up to their cabin we had one floor down to ours with zero traffic. It was so convenient to get to all the activities on decks 3 & 4. We had no noise from the kids clubs as they enter from the atrium staircase or slide so kids weren’t really running around that deck to get to the clubs.

I was in an Oceanview room on Deck 2 earlier this year. It was on the 'backside' of the kids clubs (so not the hallway where guests entered, but did have the door where CMs entered). I don't recall a super long walk to the elevators, and it was actually pretty quiet (I was worried with being on the same floor as the clubs-there was just one night they were doing a dance party that we could hear music).

Bonus was that since we were on the hallway where CMs entered the club, it was also where characters would come and go. I opened my stateroom door one night to go do dinner and Stitch was literally standing right there!

Those sound like good experiences. I'm very comfortable on deck 2 on the Wonder. I don't like the lower ceiling on the deck with the kid's club on the classic ships. Does the Treasure have a lower ceiling on deck 2? Also, can you share the room numbers each of you had?

I don't recall the ceiling being lower on deck 2 of the Wish than other stateroom decks, but I didn't specifically look for it. I was in stateroom 2594 on the Treasure.

We were in 2632. I did not notice lower ceilings on the floor.
