I was a human turtle, with only one off week, but the past 2 weeks have been gains, so for the next 3 weeks, I need to kick it up and end with a bang.

I love the Outerbanks and the NC mountains. Since we live in the middle part of the state, we can get to either in under four hours. Hoping to make a trip to each place for a long weekend before the year is up.
I bet the NC mountains are very similiar to the Smoky's - actually doesn't some of the Smoky's go into NC?
Lake Okoboji in Iowa -- we go there every year -- DH's family has owned a place there since 1893!
I have high hopes to see my name on the list this week since I've finally had some good losses this week after a small loss last week and weeks of maintaining . . . maybe I've figured a few things out! I think I will make my goal for the challenge, too, yay!

Disney cruises

I've been lucky enough to be able to go on 2 cruises. The panamal canal cruise last year was fantastic!
That is one cruise I REALLY want to do!!
We love to go to Scotland (have family there) but unfortunately don't get there very often. Except for that it's pretty much WDW, my parents are in Orlando so it gets combined.
What great places to have family - That is how it is for me and Vegas - nice having family in great vacation destinations!
I've been tracking all my calories and exercise with a program on my iPhone and it has been working great. The accountability of having to record things and send my weight to a complete stranger is really helping me. Things are going a bit slower these last couple of weeks, but I'm hanging in there. Keep up the great work everybody and just keep on plugging along!
Now for the question. I don't think I understand it. Are you guys saying that there are actually other places to vacation besides Disney? Weird concept...We'll have to try it someday! Just kidding, but Disney is still my favorite!

I just have to laugh at this question. My answer is the same as Michele's. Not by my choice. My DH only knows WDW and no matter if I suggest another place. We go to WDW. So I guess there is no other place to vaca Michele. I WISH I knew variety, but it will never be.
I agree - Disney is TOPS!!
We go to Custer State Park in South Dakota at least once every summer. We LOVE it there! We camp among the buffalo!

We also love the Smoky Mountains. Haven't been there for a couple of years, but it's one of our favorites! But my heart will always belong to Mickey and MUST now go there every year! I'd move there if I could - maybe some day!
Caming among the buffalo sounds so awesome!! The Smoky Mountains are so peaceful and relaxing.
QOTD: I guess Destin is my favorite other than Disney, but we have been to San Antonio a few times and enjoyed it as well. Loved Sea World. But Disney is really my fav! I have several places I want to go though. I want to go back to D.C. I haven't been there since I was a teen. Have been waiting until the kids got old enough to appreciate it all. I think we really are there now, but no trip planned yet. Also, I would love to spend a couple of weeks and go out west. See the Grand Canyon and then explore Yellowstone. That sounds awesome to me, hubby and DD10, but sounds like torture to DD14! Don't have that one planned yet either. It will more than likely be a few years before we do that trip, but I will definitely get there one day.
San Antonio is also on my list. I need more money and time, lol!
I have done much better this week. I expect to have lost this week what I put on the last 2 wks. I feel much better already, not nearly as bloated from eating junk!

I can't believe I made #3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me ashamed of myself for the 2wks I didn't try, but definitely gives me a kick in the pants to keep with it now! I am gonna have to work hard to make my goal. I want to loose 20 pounds by the end of the challenge and if I am back to my lowest (where I hope to be tomorrow) I still have 6 lbs to go. I had got into a rhythm of loosing only about a pound a week for a while, so I have to keep going strong till the finish! I know I can do it, and I know we all can do it!

Sorry that I haven't really posted for awhile. Thank you for your congratulations!!!! And Congrats to all the losers this week!!!! I couldn't believe that I actually made #1.

I was sick last week and I am sure that had a lot to do with it--but I am better now and am happy to have lost the lbs.

I am down 1.6 from last week where I had a gain so I am happy.
Been busy with testing this week and the show I have been working on has it's last 3 performances this weekend. I have been mainly catching up on some rest.
Spring is coming Going to be 60 here in jersey today so get out there and enjoy it. But with my luck the sea breeze will kick in and cool my house down to the 40's.
Congrat's on the loss!! I can't wait for the 60 degree weather either - I'm so excited!!
I am up .6 today. going the wrong way. Molli- it is so true, when you are on track, it seems easy, but when you are off, it's so hard to get back on. It's a new day. I'm off to make a healthy lunch.

Don't have a weight to report. I am at Disney for the Princess Half so no scale! Since I have been here all week, that's probably good!

I have been OK since I am in a DVC villa and have stocked some food. It' the beers at Epcot that are going to do me in! (Well that and the meal at the French resturant last night!) I have jogged twice this week and have a LONG run Sunday!
