DHSsenior007 a belated welcome back. So tell us more about your trip, what else did you do, where did you eat, what was your resort like?

Thanks! Well, my parents surprised me with a Boardwalk view (we were staying at the BWV), so we had a GREAT view! We had two character dinners; Liberty Tree Tavern and Chef Mickey's. The bettter of the two was definitely LTT! Chef Mickey's just didn't impress me, the characters stayed around for about 10 seconds and the food was just okay. But at LTT, the characters interacted with us sooooooo much and the food was great! We also ate at The Coral Reef, 50's Prime Time (where I discovered that I definitely DON'T remember the Little Teapot song...), Sci-Fi Dine In, turkey legs, and other places that didn't impress me or I can't remember...

On the day we left, Saturday, we made a quickie visit to MGM. There was a cheerleading competition going on, so all of the little girls up to girls HS age were there with tons of make-up (been there, done that!) and short skirts, much to all of the guys pleasure  . Also, when we got to RNR, we had to wait for guys with suits to ride before we could get on, and a camera man was videotaping the take-off. It turns out that they were famous NFL players and their wives. The one guy I recognized was the Manning's oldest son... I'm drawing a blank on his first name.

I have been soooo busy lately! Tons of homework and projects that are all due today and tomorrow... gotta go and work on it! Bye! Have a good day!

Morning... dropping off breakfast..

chocolate yogurt and granola with mini chocolate chips, chocolate chip french toast, eggs florentine with choclate sauce...

took Tigger to the vet last night for her yearly check up and shots. She did real well with very little hissing and growling. Then she came home and slept all night.. which is a first.. ususally by 1 or 2 am she wakes us up to go outside and play with her rodent friends...

oh the other hand , we woke up to snow here this morning.. YUCK! It is supposed to be spring.. this should be rain not snow... have a great day..

Breaking News: The whipped cream in a can now comes in chocolate.

i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo upset, i accidently deleted my tags and i don't even know how i did it... i was all teary eyed last night and everything.. I never knew I would cry from loosing a Tag... actually 2 tags but, that's besides the point.. I swear I am NEVER, EVER, EVER, for any reason what so ever, going to go into User CP and my Edit profile...EVER, EVER AGAIN.... :sad2:

thank goodness we have no snow but we do have lots of dark dreary rain.. the weather is calling for rain for the next 4 days... :umbrella: but heck if rain is what we get instead of snow...then i'll take it...

ok so i am off to go check all the other posts and see what i missed last night.. have a wonderful day all... :wave2:

No pfishgirl I did not know that. See just goes to show you how far behind I am. Lord I need to get out more. Actually I should go for a walk just ate half a bag of Goldfish with my daughter.

watch when christmas comes around again, they have every color and flavor come out...

we had peppermint cool whip

I everyone,

So what has everyone done today? I went to Alton Towers (my favourite rollerocaster park) with my friend Den. We got there at 9am and as I have an AP I am allowed in at 9am where as normal guests have to wait until 9:30. But we asked the guy on the gate if my friend could come in early with us and we were allowed. It was really cool, we were the only people on site (apart from the hotel guests who also go in at 9am but they use an enterance at the other end of the park. So we walked through the park to where the rides that open early are. But as we were the only people let in at the main enterance we didn't see anyone for about 5 minutes. It was wierd, as if we were the only people there!! We had a great day though as the park was not busy. The longest we waited was 15 minutes for one ride. All the rest were either walk on or 5 minute wait. We did 20 rides and had an hour out at the water park!!

ohanafamily we do plan to do the segway tour on our trip as well as the back stage magic (the 7 hour one where you go to the MK, Epcot and MGM.) We also plan to book the candle light processional package. We though we would try Tepanyaki in Japan. Has anyone eaten there? Also we want to book the Christmas sleigh carridge ride from the WL. We need to wait until the 90 day mark to book the tours and PS arrangements though.
Oh well, I have walked so much today I think I will go and have a relaxing spa bath.

DanaUK, Please pardon the lack of color- not at my usual computer...We ate at the Tepanaki grill, it was decent. Similar to BeniHanna. The seat several parties together at the grill (we were there with 3 other groups) and they grill it in front of you. We met Ibouncetoo and PixieMagic on the other side where they serve the Sushi during the Tag-Meet. I think that they liked it there, but I will lett them review it for your dining pleasure. The kuds liked the Nine Dragon Inn (It SAYS 7 Dragons, but 7+2=9  . They had Dim Sum in the morning which I liked. We have better Chinese food here, but again, the food is good. I would also hit the refreshment station (near the fountain on the walkway ftom Futureworld into International showcase) they have free Colas from around the world...one is really nasty, but Sssshhhh, don't warn Pete ;). As far as the tours go, we chose to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK rather than the all in one because it is more in-depth, and you don't have all of the travel time between the parks. Also, I have to ask if you are feeling OK, are you enjoying the break?

DHSenior, I have heard that the restaraunt in The Living Seas is very good, but like the Canada Steakhouse, we always forget to do a PS. We like The Garden Grill (in the LAND) because it has good memories for us. you get lots of good character time, and best salad in the park. so how were the cheerleading perfomances? What did you think of Mission:Space??? Did you make it for a Kitchen Sink? What did you think of Wishes?????????? OMG, I hope Ian will have as good of a time in October.....

pfishgirl, I am sending you a PM...

Oh Well, See Y'all later...

Much to my displeasure, but much to my friend's pleasure, we didn't get to watch the performances. I just wanted to see one, but nooooooo, we had to leave...

I absolutely loved Mission:Space! I had ridden it before (last February), so I wasn't that nervous. My friend also loved it!

Unfortunately, we didn't get the Kitchen Sink because my friend is diabetic, so she couldn't have had any of it.

Wishes, OMG it was great! I absolutely loved it! I had goosebumps the whole time! We also had a great view, it was right next to the statue of Mickey and Walt in front of the castle. But yeah, it was still absolutely wonderful!

ohanafamily thanks for asking, I'm feeling quite good at the moment. Pete is still at work this week but breaks up today. So yesterday I went to my favourite theme park with my friend Dennis (he lost his job last week so I was trying to cheer him up) and today I am going shopping with my Disney friend Andrew. We tried the Colas at Ice Station Cool last trip, I agree one of them is interesting but I can't remember which one it was!! Thanks for the info on the restaurant. As we are booking the candle light processional package we have to choose one of the places on the list. Our other choice was the French restaurant which we ate at last time, but we thought this time we should try something different. As for the tour I did think about the keys to the kingdom one but our friends did the back stage magic one last trip (on the day we went to Discovery Cove.) They loved it so much they recommended it to us and they are doing it again with us. They said we would love the theatrics of ot and plus I love rides and learning about how they work which we get to see in Epcot. I will definatly do the keys to the kingdom tour at some point though. Maybe that is an excuse for another visit!!

So what does everyone else have planned for today?

Good morning everyone,

pfishgirl I think this thread is quiet as quite a few people post on the Mr Backs thread.

So what is everyone doing today? I am spending today in my garden. Doing my weeding, planting some pots, getting my waterfall in my pond working again after the winter.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, not much planned for today as the kids have the day off from school so I think we'll get a walk in and their favorite babysitter is coming over so I can meet up with the girls from where we were all laid off. My sisters and parents just got back from WDW and they said it was very crowded. But managed to have fun.

Morning all! YEAH, it's Friday! Lots of chores for this weekend (STILL haven't done my taxes.....but I bought Turbo-Tax so it won't take long). One more week and I'll be heading to Disneyland! :cool1:

No special plans for Sunday this year. Think we'll (DS and DBil) just make a lovely brunch and eat on the patio! The weather is sooooo nice right now...cool in the mornings (currently 54) and sunny and lovely in the afternoons. Perfect outdoor dining weather and soooooo hard to be shut up in an office all day.

Well, must get ready for work.....hope they let us out a little early today.
