thank you for this one! I'm always looking for produce that I can actually grow on my little apartment balcony and this is perfect, plus organic so that makes it so great!! THANKS!!

Tiffany- not a freebie, but have ever seen the hanging tomato plants!? You can probably grow them on your balcony too. I want to get some.

They have them @ Target but I first saw them on TV- Topsy Turvy

My friend did a "gutter garden" for lettuce. She said it was perfect for planting and harvesting greens for a small garden. Get a shorter (4 foot) length of gutter with two end caps, fill with soil, plant and harvest away! Takes up *very* little room, easy to fill and work with, and easy to store even on a balcony! She said it was one of the best thigs she did. You could even mount it with deck brackets.

Okay so how bad is this.......

I'm sitting here with POC: Curse of the Black Pearl on the tv with it muted, listening to our college hockey team playing in the SUNYAC finals 5 hours away, and typing on my laptop. Does this count as multi-tasking???? Oh and wait!!!! I am on my third adult beverage too. :rotfl2:

You're cool man!

I can flip flop, black metal, to deep classic, psychedelic rock, and then over to some Baroque all in one day! (I think it might have something to do with my multiple personalities):rolleyes1

Madd I have tried.....I have really tried to like the metal stuff.....I can barely handle Metallica which I don't even consider super heavy metal. I just can't understand what they're saying and other than some amazing guitar riffs, I can't appreciate the music. I don't know why. I can listen to every other genre but that......even classical. I"m more into the older rock, some more of the mid-road country (do *not* play that twangy crap!), jazz, regional music (love the music from the Peruvian Indians for example), Chinese, you name it but there is something about metal. I still try every once in a while but it is just too jarring for me. And I'm with you on the multiple personalities so I don't get it. I can still even throw on the disco and rip the carpet on any given day.....talk about mixed personalities! :rotfl2:

Oh and hey ladies I got my Bare escentuals or whatever they were samples this week......very very nice!!!!! If you haven't jumped on that one, very worth it. I ordered 3 of the samples for the one shipping charge and got the impression you could order all 5 of the available shades if you wanted for the one shipping charge. Samples are about the size of a Carmex lip pot and are packaged very nicely.

Also, I think there is still a Murad freebie out there. What a great product that was! I may seriously be paying for that one. This was a three piece unit with the wash, a serum, and a moisturizer. I didn't use the wash but the other two were seriously fantastic!

ohmygawd I'm going to be sick....our boys are playing in the State University of New York (SUNYAC) Championship hockey game and they are tied at 4-4 going into overtime.......

I can totally understand how you feel- b/c I feel the same way about music that most people listen too- I don't think you can just "fall" into the music I listen to, for me, it all started with Kiss when I was 12- it just progressed from there:worship:

You are forgiven........Go in peace my child........:wizard:

:dance3: for the boys!

.....are you still with us?:rotfl2:

Shhiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!! They lost 5-4 in OT........oh my gosh this is going to sound so silly to you guys but I am bawling.......we get so close to these kids and every year we say goodbye to the ones who graduate..... This year is awful. We are losing 13 of them. Their parents were all here two weeks ago for breakfast (we had 45 people here on a Saturday morning) and they are like an extended family to us. I told one of the Mom's that she didn't understand....for them it ends one time, for us,,,,each year......Gawd I am bummin......need another beer.

Madd I love Kiss. I don't consider them metal though. I'm wondering if what you and I consider HM is the same? Son and Hubbie listen to stuff that makes my ears feel like I've plugged into another galaxy.....lol

Love Kiss, Aerosmith, Poison, Def Leopard.....I consider them all Classic.

Sorry about the boys.

When I was 12- Kiss would have been considered rock. I then went to metal, HEAVY metal, THRASH metal and now death/black metal. It keeps progressing.

Classic to me is Hendrix, Moody Blues......

I'm going to try one of those this year even though we have a huge garden. I think I'll put a cherry tomato plant in it for the kids to nibble on at will.:hippie: Speaking of garden, DH is going out this morning to get gas for the tiller to till up at least a big enough area for me to plant my peas, turnips, onions and some kale.:yay: I do my lettuce in a raised bed, so I need to get it started as well AND I better get my tomatoes, peppers, etc. going from seed soon.
