Weekly cvs 9/20-9/26

Just wanted to post that the .99 Colgate toothbrush in the trial section works for the $1 ECB colgate deal. There was even a tag on the item saying it was free in my store.

I just hit some random 90% clearance! Nothing too great actually but I only spent $5 ECB's and ended up saving close to $100 (as per my receipt). Best find was a bunch of Clorox2 Stain Fighter for .74 each. Other than that I got that toothbrush and nothing else. Hope the deals start looking up!

The majority of this month stunk another week for me to skip! This is a good time to roll rainchecks if you have them just so coupons and bucks don't expire.

Thanks for the type up.

Maggie - Yes, the roll ons are included in teh Dry Idea deal.

I went in today expecting to just do 3 Dry Ideas and the Crest Prohealth. But, then, I got a $5 off the Clearasil Pimple pen (my newly 13 yo needs something!!), and another $5 off Lumene. So, I combined those two things and used a $5 off $15 on any facial product and got them for free!! I also got a coupon for the Aquafresh IsoActive stuff. AFter the ECBs being offered on that, it cost me $0.25. Didn't need it, but one of my kids really likes it. I figured after the overage from the facial stuff, I could afford it! :rotfl: That pushed me over the $30 mark, so I also used a 5/30. I ended up paying $1.18 (these new tax laws are killin' me!) and got $4 more ECBs than I came in with.

I'm hoping that they'll have another great deal at Thanksgiving time too!!

Did well at Rite Aid too!

1 Trident Gum .99
1 Proantinox Liquid 6.99
1 Clean and Clear 4.50

-$1 Clean and Clear manuf coupon
-$3 Clean and Clear store coupon
-$3 Proantinox coupon
-$1.49 Trident (actually, this was for a free pack of gum from the dental package and it rang up as more than I spent!)

I paid $4.68 and I'll get back $6.99 for the Proantinox!! Love those moneymakers!

Trying to rescue this week... This is what I did:

$8.00 Eight (8) Wheat Thins*
-8.00 Eight (8) Wheat Thin IPs (FireFox link): http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qikpcqm1006357&bt=vg&o=58665&c=KR&p=D0o8QCdT (IE link): http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qikpcqm1006357&bt=vi&o=58665&c=KR&p=D0o8QCdT
6.97 Three (3) Dry Idea Roll-ons
-6.00 Three (3) Dry Idea IPs (no longer available)
-3.00 Three (3) Dry Idea CVS coupons from Minute Clinic booklet (2 had to be pushed)
12.00 Four (4) 12-packs Mountain Dew
-$5.00/25 Ready-Fill
$4.97 (earned $6: $3 Dry Idea + $3 Pepsi)

*if your store doesn't carry the tiny boxes that are in the 5/$5 sale, the bigger boxes are on sale for $2 each, this coupon is good for any size

I'm going to do the candy deal later using Chocolate Relief and BOGO mfgs. (thanks to my Flake! - will need to buy 7 regular size (Dove Dark for me) to cover 3 Chocolate Relief and 2 BOGO mfgs., actual cost 50¢ for 7) and also buying the theater box Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish because I found 55¢/2 boxes mfgs. at Walgreens on a tearpad. I'll also get the Kleenex. I am just trying to figure out how to get my total up to use the $5/25 for that deal. I will probably throw in a Crest product and some 75% off school supply items.

Well, not too much today. I got 3 of the Dry Idea roll on deoderant ( -$2 IP coupons), 2 Sally Hansen nail polish $2.49 BOGO (-2x$1 off coupon), and I burnt some ECB on Pepsi since we were out (4/$12 with $3 ECB back).

I was going to get the Crest ProHealth for DH since that is all he will use now. But I somehow lost my Crest coupon between my house and the store. :sad2: I'm hoping I can still find it somewhere.

I love the tiny boxes!! I send them to my DD at school. When my DS has his buddies over I put a few boxes out...perfect size and then they finsh the box and I can throw it away...yuck those little germs:scared1:

I wish my stores had clearance:lovestruc

I'm always bad, you just caught me in a slip :rotfl2:
:lmao:

I know I did mention it before but I will agian:teacher: I would like to add a list to the OP every week of free or almost free items...
Example: trial size items like the Colgate toothbrush that is free with a 1.00 coupon...items that are not on sale just would be free with some of the common coupons. Like the J&J small medical kits in the sample section. There are 1.00 coupons for those many times so that item will be free. With XMAS soon it would be nice to stock up on stocking stuffers.:santa: If you guys can just pm me any deals you know of I will add it to the OP
everyweek.:thumbsup2

Are the Sally Hansen coupons ones that said for use at Walgreens only?

I have a couple of those and was wondering if CVS would accept them.

Woo Hoo! CVS has a new quiz up about the flu that earns you a $5/25 coupon.

Thank you, MomtoSam! My computer permitted me to print the coupon several times after I took the quiz only once. The same bar code came up on each coupon and it is 876808 634090. What I am wondering is if each computer prints a unique bar code? If you print several on your computer and would like to swap one/some of mine for some of yours, I'd be interested in trading since my coupon doesn't expire until 10/6. Maybe CVS will give you two weeks until expiration so if you took the quiz tomorrow, your expiration would be 10/7? (I'm assuming that you can only use a coupon once and that the register will beep if you try to use it a second time if it has the same bar code. However, if yours prints with the same bar code, then I'm assuming you can use the coupon more than once and there would be no need to trade.)

I was able to print the coupon twice, by going into the survery twice via two different links and it printed with two different bar code numbers. The last time I printed multiple $5/25 I tried to use the second one and the cashier said "you already used this coupon and you used it on - date". I said I guess my husband did that......:rotfl:

That happened to me too. I looked all over the web to try to fix it, but I couldn't find anything. Like you, I could do without youtube, but my coupons I need!

I uninstalled Adobe Flash, then reinstalled it and it hasn't given me a problem since (about 2 months). So I don't know what the problem was, but it's working now.

Maybe someone can help me;) Maybe not:rotfl2:
The $5/5 cookies...its says limit 5..is that 5 total or 5 5/$5 deals:lovestruc this always confuses me

It's a per transaction limit. So you can purchase 5 cookies in any transaction. No limit on the # of times doing it separately. But if you buy 6 or more in 1 transaction then the ones over the 5 will ring in higher!

I am sending them to school too, great size! Our registers rang them up at $1 when buying more than 5, but I was watching closely in case it didn't. I think managers can omit those per transaction limits if they want to when they activate the ad. The store I was at would have just adjusted the price down anyway.
