Week-end chit chat 6/22-17/24

Christy, hope you all aren't too sore! Hope the dogs are doing better.

I agree, fire scare me too! Praying for rain for out west!

Reddy, hope Richard is better after not sleeping well.

I have finished 9 pages so far. Need to take a break to do some errands. Hoping to get more finished later.

Great job Cassey!
I'm not bad now but once I stop moving it will be in trouble. Advil is my constant friend this time of year. I swear arthritits is already setting in, but I've never been kind to my body so it's my own fault. All the years of cross country on horses, and riding the "difficult" ones I think is catching up to me.

have managed to find the 3 drawer unit I keep all the sports stuff in, the cricut unit which I'm designing a new one, was using 2 old crummy tv units stacked. now I'm working to find the big storage box dad made me. I'm finding things I pulled out in April under piles whoops!!!

Amy, hope they get the fires under control soon...stay safe!!!

Christy I'm hurting just reading all you did this weekend...my mom grew up on a farm and got out ASAP she hated it! my grandma worked her butt off with the 4 kids, a huge garden, animals they used for themselves, baking, cooking, cleaning, sewing, knitting, quilting and my grandfather was a hop farmer (for beer) which back then was backbreaking work...and she did it all wearing a dress, apron, heals and her costume jewelry every day!

I'm a true city/burbs girl!

Cassey great job getting more pages done!

Reddy hope Richard is feeling better too, must be hard when the boys don't sleep

we've done nothing this morning except watch a movie, just feeling pretty lazy...decided to wait and see BRAVE after school is out....need to wash my fleece to make more blankets for the orphanage so plan on getting those done today! don't think I'm feeling creative enough for scrapping

Reddy thanks for posting my picts. Dh tried helping me and we couldn't get them to go last night. Don't know what we were doing wrong.

Love the ugly paper. I should quit buying and us what I have.

The letter I did with scal and the Silhouette finding a font on the internet. Now if designing characters were as easy as the fonts I'd have it made.:headache:

maybe this will help - you need that bottom choice - IMG code - if you left click on it it will copy then you come here are & right click to paste - pretty easy when you get it down (I do it without thinking about now)

Amy - Richard is running up & down the hallway now - I'm getting tired watching him, he has several glasses of milk took my yogurt & my Dr Pepper - I'm going to make a big pot of spaghetti for them about 5 so they can eat before going to Brave tonight - we will pick up chips on the way

OK James decided to go ahead & make the spaghetti -- he turned the burner on under the wrong pan - luckily the smoke dectertor(sp??) when off so now I have windows open & airing out the house as soon as I get this paper piecing done I"m going to the lap top to work on inkscaping where I can watch the stove

that is all of the sections pages (3 sets of each section - some got different background)

God bless you Reddy I don't know how you get anything done.
the St of america boarders are like a Kiwi Lane design but they would layer the boarders 2-3 if that makes any sense. Love the pages. Do the dairy wind them up? I know it did Matt. Goat milk he was fine with, but cow products sent him into orbit

Lisa that was Tom's grandmother 2. Plus they had hired hands she cooked for. I feel bad whinning abt it when I think back to how she lived. Glad you took a down day. They are a definate blessing and so many don't take them.

dairy usually calms Richard down
I think those 2 just like to stress me out - I"m on the laptop now - sitting at the kitchen table
James tried to add the rest of the noodles to water in the pan but didn't touch the burner but I was in here & told him no - I got him feed so maybe I can relax for an hour

hopefully they give you a break soon. and you get to enjoy the movie tonight

well I've found half the desk and 1/2 of the top of the storage cabinet. Did a tiny bit of rearranging on the desk. I usually keep all my paper in the cabinet dad built but I've decided to take the plain paper out and put it on the end of my desk to see if I like that better. I will still have to spin around to get to the patteren paper, I wish my house was one I could leave paper out in but to much dust with the drit drive (window opens right into that room) and just general boy/dog dirt that comes into the house.

I also have to figure out dinner......... would rather just play in the scraproom. this is one time I wish we were closer to town just to pick something up. Our general store isn't as good as it used to be and if I'm payign that amount of money I want good food.

I got them feed but stayed sitting in here (dinning room) so James has had a chance to mess with the stove again

Movie should be good - we will be in our car so boys shouldn't bother anyone else - hopefully they behave (school claims they behave for shows & things there so we will see) Usually they are fine when the movie gets going - it is the waiting around for it to start that usually drives us nuts - I just hope we get a good spot to park if I knew they would still have it next week - I would put it off a week to get the first week crowd over

hmmm I should go check facebook & see if they replied to me on that question
