Week before Thanksgiving week?

We always go to Disney during late Nov/early Dec. and have our trip planned for the week of and the week before Thanksgiving this year. I know it will be nearly impossible to use our new points on Thanksgiving week, but what about the week before which is in between F&W and Thanksgiving? Do we have a chance? Also, is the waitlist for Thanksgiving week worth a shot, or is it probably pretty much filled? We are flexible and would probably want a studio, but a 1 BR would do. We'd prefer OKW, but of course will take what we can get!

Also, if you waitlist, can you go ahead and have a standard reservation at another resort in case the waitlist can't come through?

Thanks everyone! I know I am full of questions now, but ever since finding out the good news on ROFR on Friday, I can't get Disney off the brain!!

Hi, Johnathan. I think if you are flexible (as it looks like you are), you will have a good shot at getting your DVC ressie.
