Or maybe get the late flight to MCO on Sat (bonus: kids are more likely to sleep!) and stay at an airport hotel before heading to Disney on Sun. Could we take ME on Sun even though our flight would arrive on Sat?

Booked our flight, will arrive late Sat and book an airport hotel. When I called to ask, a CM said it's no problem to take the ME the next day - just go to the counter, no advance notice needed. Will probably re-confirm closer to the time!

Do you follow yuililin's (not sure I spelled that right) SW thread? They're changing the SW dessert party for the rest of July so it'll be interesting to see how people like it and if the changes continue into the fall.

If you tell magical express your arrival is on Sunday, and give them flight numbers for the flight arriving Sunday they won't know the difference and you can shuttle from the airport hotel back to airport then take ME. I haven't done it personally but have read many accounts of people here doing it.

This is my back up plan, so here's hoping. Airfare seems higher on that Saturday than Friday for some reason. It is still early though. I think airfare will have a drop at end of summer.

My Disney related Friday confession:

I booked this trip on a new MDE account, so that we can try to use last years' magic bands for same day fastpasses at the kiosks. I spent a lot of time stalking the SDFP thread and decided to try it.

Anyone else have a Friday confession?

This is an insane idea... Crazy and amazing all at once! Dunno if I am up to it. Of course we did use the same MDE account but family friends of ours just returned from Disney. Need to reread. My mind is blown!

Saturday confession (couldn't think of anything yesterday!): I cry when I watch Disney fireworks and shows at home but not when I'm at Disney. Just watched SW: A Galactic Spectacular! (again, but this time with the flamethrowers) and teared up a few times. I teared up when I watched the Frozen fireworks at home last year but then when we saw them in person I was just plain happy. Probably the closest I came to (happy) tears AT Disney was when watching Wishes the first time.

I just added an extra day at the beginning of our trip. Now checking in on Saturday. Flights are cheaper on Saturday vs Sunday!! Now to rethink all my planning!!

What's everyone's thinking on if there will be nighttime events at AK the week we are there? I wasn't convinced to go back to AK this year but the rivers of light and Jungle Book alive with magic sound fun. My DD loves Shere Khan.

Right now we are only planning a morning at AK. If they ever figure out the evening entertainment, we may consider hopping over on one of our MK days.

I heard a rumor the CM's working on ROL are now hoping for Earth Day 2017. I don't know if that was a serious rumor or more tongue-in-cheek, but it's there nonetheless.

I had been planning on doing the nighttime stuff once (we get 2 days at each park) but I'm not so sure now. The JB show doesn't really sound like a good fit for my family so it might just be a matter of how badly ds15 wants to ride EE at night as to whether we do the night stuff or not.

I kept our evenings - other than MVMCP - free of set plans so we can add ROL/Jungle Book or SW fireworks wherever it makes most sense. Our ADRs are all lunch or breakfast - though I'm still hoping to swap out for BOG on one of our other MK days (not the party day).

Though if it's still Jungle Book and not ROL, I'm not going to worry as much about fitting it in.

After a month of checking multiple times a day I finally got an Ohana reservation at four on a party night!!!! I'm so excited!! I was up at five they day our reservations dropped and was completely locked out of Ohana. My dh thinks I'm crazy for being this excited!

Ugh I had that happen a few times too! Have you noticed they already reduced the number of searches you can run down to two?

Yes!! I had 10 and deleted one to add another and it wouldn't let me add any. I finally realized that it was cut to 2. If you already had more than 2 it will let you continue those searches but once you delete them you can never add back. You can restart them though if you get a notification and didn't get the ADR. I actually emailed them and suggested that if you have a subscription that you should be able to have more than 2 searches but if you are doing it for free then limit it to 2 searches. They emailed me back and notified me that they increased my search to 5. I thought that it was a quick response and fair. So far I have gotten a Chef Mickeys lunch and a 6p BoG dinner on a party night from the TP.

I think it's fair that they set a smaller limit give just how many people are using it now. But I agree that a paid subscription should get you more!
