We were thinking of going on Novemeber 27 the Sunday after Turkey day. Is that week usually quiet or still crowded?

We use to always go the weekend after Thanksgiving. This was always reported as the slowest weekend. Well I think to many people have listened and they place was pretty busy last year if you ask me. But you do get to see Regis and Kelly and several other stars during the filming of the x-mas parade.

We did Thanksgiving Day thru December 10th back in 2002. We were prepared for the holiday weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised how much we were able to accomplish. We even did Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving and had no one within arms length of us at Spectromagic. :confused3 I agree with the above poster, though. People must be listening re: low crowd level because it was definitely crowded during the first part of December. We weren't expecting to wait in lines for more than 10-15 minutes, but that certainly wasn't our experience.

The weekend following Thanksgiving is very busy. Once Monday comes, there are no crowds. When we went in 2004, the fast pass machines were closed because they just weren't needed. You could walk onto most any ride. This is a GREAT time to go! :earboy2:

I have gone the Sunday after Thanksgiving for the past 4 years. It has always been great!! This year was a little more crowded but being Disney savvy we worked around it. Since it was also our 3rd trip that year we did take it slow (for us anyway). All the Christmas decorations are up and the hotels are beautiful. It is my favorite time of year to go. This year I wanted to try MNSSHP and the Food and Wine festival so I hope I am not dissappointed ( I doubt it). ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I go every year at that time. I am going again this year on Sunday 11/27. It is my favorite time to go. Between my birthday being on 11/30 and the Christmas decorations being up, and MVMCP taking place, it is a great time to go. And the crowds are low. Last year, I went w/cousins who hadn't been since they were little kids and they are 28 and 30 now, we wanted to get in line for Splash Mountain. The posted wait time was 5 minutes! I couldn't believe it! And actually there turned out to be no wait, we walked right on! Can't wait for 11/27 to get here.
