I know i'm probobly thinking about this waaaayyy too early in advance but we'll ignore that for now:lmao: I'm hoping to do a program for our wedding that has an etched image of the castle on the front [already have an image saved] with our names date, location etc and then a single book fold with the wedding info inside.
I was wondering if any of you have a template for such an item or if you know where to look for one? Thanks for all your help!:goodvibes

I think what you want is kind of similar to what I did. I have the template for it you want it....these were actually a fun project to do (and I had mine done 8 months before, so don't worry about doing it early :lmao: )

I'm working on mine right now, so I don't have an image to post yet, but one trick that helped me was folding the paper in thirds in such a way that the left third is the cover, the middle is the inside left page and the right third is the inside right page (if this makes sense). That way you only have to print on one side of one piece of paper to make a booklet.

Here are a couple pictures on my programs. This is the basic idea of it, I still have some rewording to do and decide which songs I want to use.

Can I just ask you...how do you go about printing something that has an etched design or writing? :confused3

I'm using the term "etched" as a sketch type drawing of the castle......I found an image online that will work for our programs.....its a sketched drawing of the castle. Sorry if that was a bit confusing.....;)

Aww Kristen! Don't worry! You will be fine! It didn't take long to do. Once you figure out what info to put on the program, the rest is easy. Just putting the ribbon on was kind of a pain. I saw your table cards and welcome letters! They look great!

I love those!
could you give me the template too :)

No such thing as way too in advance, LOL. My wedding is a year and I'm already thinking about programs and welcome bags or whatever. That's my thought on things! :lovestruc

Here are my programs.

It's basically a modified tri-fold that leaves a little bit of extra space along the right edge for your names. I glued the left-hand third to the middle one to make a booklet, but you could leave it just folded....

Hey StitchBride, Could you send the layout my way too? I'd really appreciate it! I love the look of the castle!

Thanks in advance!

Stitchbride,
If you could send me your template that would be greatly appreciated. It looks great.

Thanks,
Lisa
