Wedding nightmares!

I just had my first wedding nightmare a couple nights ago, and another one last night! In the first one, my hairdo was falling out by the time the ceremony was over and my makeup was coming off so I looked horrid, then the groom was nowhere to be found, and the DJ didn't have any of the music we wanted, only the music we requested not to be played! And then last night I just dreamt that it was the day of the wedding and I didn't have everything I need, like my veil, headpiece, and other stuff.

This is scary stuff! Anybody else have wedding nightmares?

I haven't had one in about a month but I have had a few!! Here are some examples:

I showed up to the wedding and my family had taken over and changed EVERTHING!! They added some extra people the bridal party (for example some older cousins that I have), changed the venue, changed the ceremony, ugh!! It was so scary.

In another one I showed up with a black wig that looked like poodle hair, and a weird and ugly veil/headpiece on top, my gown was old and really antique, dingy whitish with long sleeves, plus I had on sneakers and socks (not cute ones either like in Father of the Bride). I think I woke up in a cold sweat that night, lol.

Most of my bad dreams happened before I had purchased the dress, the shoes, etc.....I must have really been stressing over my decisions.

ohhh.....I had a bad one! Mine was that EVERYTHING was wrong! No kidding I dreamed about the whole day and everything was wrong down to them announcing us in! I remember beng so upset and screaming "everything is wrong" hahahah thank goodness it was only a dream! swooosh!

I have had a ton! But I think my favorite was the reception venue was my junior high gym, with the unfinished wood looking round tables and behind the head table was a clothes line with red plastic table clothes hanging by clothes pins. The table clothes kept falling in front of us, even though it was hung behind us and my groom was passed out in the middle of the dance floor with his ex girlfriend siting next to him drinking.

I woke up freaked out and then when I realized it was a dream I was highly relieved!!

I've had wedding nightmares and I'm not even engaged!

Just a couple nights ago I had a dream I was just married (to my current BF) and there was someone at the venue who kept distracting us from getting our photos done. I kept screaming "LEAVE, WE ARE TRYING TO GET OUR PICTURES DONE" and this guy kept talking to us and walking around ... this seemed to go on forever and I finally broke down and started crying hysterically, then I woke up sweating and I couldn't go back to sleep for an hour!

Hmm, too much Bridezillas and reading the DIS boards, maybe?

I have them all the time, I wont go into them because, like I said, too many

I love them though! It's an insight into my subconscious, and tells me what I'm most worried about, and by knowing how concerned I am with something, it somehow calms me down.

I remember one dream, litterally I had only booked Misty and nothing else. So in my dream, we didn't have a location, I didn't have a dress, or hair or makeup organised or anything, but it was a great day simply because I had my photographer.

So clearly photos are the most important thing to me, so everything will work out, because I've got someone I'm 100% confident with to do them.

I have them quite a lot now!

My favourites have been:

-My cat is my wedding planner.....to be fair she did quite a good job.

-We were put in a tiny room off the WHR, like it fit one desk.

- I turned up at the WP, and my whole year from school were sat outside. Just milling about. Sat all on the railings and stuff.

- The Roots were only taking photos of wallpaper/curtains.

- I realised I didn't have a dress.

There are loads more too! And I'm sure they'll get worse/more frequent.

I had a terrible terrible dream this past weekend...I was walking down the aisle with my dad and everyone was there except my DF! I was freaking out the whole time asking Dad where he was and he told me dont worry, everything will be okay...??...finally i get to the altar and they tell me what happened...it was the worst dream ive ever had! ...lets just say he didnt get cold feet. What kind of dream is that!?!?!?! aaaah Im still a little wierded out about it!
