Perfect example of how weddings turn stressful. People stir the pot and start c***.

Why did you cause an issue and create a problem? If anyone wanted to question them bringing an extra, it was up to the hosts only. And even they would have been wise, IMO, to let it go in the interest of a peaceful wedding day.

I was so surprised to see their son there. My cousin (Brides mom)and I are super close ( I was with them on a vacation when their dad died)-we had our first two kids at same time-hung out a LOT when they were small-if any 2nd cousin would have been invited to this it would have been my oldest-who knows the bride.

Got it! However I still don't think you needed to make an issue of it at the wedding.

Now, if other people on here could go have fun while their kid is home by themself, then good for you; I'm not that type of mom.

Part of being a parent (IMO) is being able to enjoy yourself when not with your kids.

Why should we not be abl eto have fun with them?
