Wedding dresses

M&M126 - That is my favorite dress! Who is the designer?

It's Casablanca. It's really not that expensive but the fabric is so nice!! I love it. I'm getting it in white :)

Everyone's dresses are so beautiful!

I'm not a Disney bride :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: But I am having a Disneymoon!

Here is me in my dress...it is Porsha by Maggie Sottero.

Gorgeous!! What a great look with your hair down - very romantic!

My husband at the time before we were engaged. He lived in California and I lived in Utah. I was planning a trip out to see him in California in October of 2001. He really did not say anything about the ring. Because he was given his moms engagement ring to give to me. Me not knowing would send suttle hints of what I liked and stuff and this whole time he already had it. He surprised me on my birthday in August of 2001 and proposed to me on my birthday. His moms engagement ring is so special it's even more special because she passed away in May of 2003.

I can't see this picture - only a little red cross! Is anyone else having the same problem or is it just my laptop?

Your not the only one. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to show the pic instead of the cross. Sorry, I'll try to figure it out.

I just bought mine last night...it should be here in 10-12 weeks.

The color I got was white with 'wine' trim...

I haven't posted pictures before, but here goes ... Here is a picture of my dress for my VR - which won't be until approximately April 2009 - but I saw this dress and I couldn't resist. Its just exactly what I want - definitely bridal but not too princessy (I think I'm a little long in the tooth to be a princess lol!):lmao:

I'm having it altered to fit me at the moment, this should be an incentive to me not to gain any weight before the big day, even if it is two years away!

Unfortunately I couldn't see your pics! I would like to do a VR at my 25th Anniversay in July 2008. I hope you can repost the pics as I am very interested in the style for your VR. :goodvibes

Is anyone having this problem? I can see the pics on my laptop and on our home pc.
DisneyObsession - I'll send you a pm with the pics!

This is a pic of me in the dress. This is from almost two months ago, and I've toned up my arms since then. I went in last weekend and tried on the dress to show my sis and my mom, and it fit better! :yay:

I am torn between two completely different dresses!! One dress is a ballgown and the other one is an A-line. Can anyone offer tips, especially past May brides, as to weather, and how hot it might be?? I just don’t want to be boiling in the ballgown. Thanks for any help!!

Well, most of the ladies on here (and me too) would say go with the one that makes you feel the most beautiful. But if you're really torn and they are equally gorgeous on you, I say go for the one that's not as heavy, since you'll be hauling it around all day! :thumbsup2
