Webkinz Pets ??

Anyone have one of these or even heard of them?
What do you think? Do you like it, do your kids actually use the website part of it?? I need info from the wise and wonderful Dis

The only part of it my daughter DOES use is the website part! The animals sit on the shelf but she is on the site every single day of the week, she has 7 of them so far and 6 more coming for Christmas! All of her firends are also on the site and they play games against each other and send each other virtual gifts...

Very,very popular with the 5-9 crowd around here.
I am addicted to the employment office and tile towers game myself.
DD brought just the stuffed animals to childcare and they were a hot item.
DD uses the website with help.
Dnephew was started by me and is now far ahead of me. He did ask me to take care onf his online when he was away on vacation for a couple of weeks.

I just learned of these tonight but the man at the store sold me HARD! I bought three, one for my DD one for me and one for a friend in AL.
My DD is 6, I hope she likes this and learns from it.

Very popular around here and lots of fun! I too like the TileTower game. There are lots of activities on the website. Definately worth the money!

How old is she??

She is 7 and has been using the website since she was 6. My friends daughter is in 6th grade and they are even a hot thing with that age group!!

My 10 and 8 year old have 3 each. They love them! They love the arcade and setting up their rooms etc. They are on it for a bit each day. Its a good safe place to play.

My kids are 7 & 12 and they are very popular around here in those age groups. My kids play on-line a lot and they also get their friends to play on-lline at the same time.

I am finished shopping for my kids for Christmas, so I'm not getting Webkinz now. But after Christmas the kids might spend some of their Christmas money on a Webkinz and that will be something fun to do in January.

I went to the Webkinz site and the animals are cute. These could make good b-day gifts for dd's friends, and then they can play with their critters together.

We have a lot of webkinz in this house and highly recommend them. There is a section called Quizzy's which is like a game show that asks a lot of educational questions. Kids also have to learn how to take care of their pets. They earn kinzcash by playing games, or answering questions at Quizzy's. They have to buy food for their pets and keep them healthy and happy.

My DD9 and DD7 both had them on their list. DD9's gymnastics team had a gift exchange on Fri., and that was the MOST popular gift. DD9 got one, and the girls have been on the website all weekend!

OK, silly question but does anyone's little boy like them? (4 yo range)

His sister plays on Milsberry all the time and I think he feels left out so I was thinking if I got them both one of these they could both play.

My son likes them - he's 7 in first grade. He just went to a bday party where webkinz were given out as party favors! Lots of his friends have them and they play together. My DD is only 3 but she has her own pets and loves going to the site. I help her with the games.

My son is 9 and he loves Webkinz. I do think reading is helpful on some of the games, but not a necessity for lots of them.
