WeatherTech floor mats

That is all I want for Christmas. Let's just say my other cars have had issues in the coffee spilling department and the floors show it. Add the kids messes and spills, and our floor mats don't survive well.

So, we got a new to us car on Wed. and DH says he really wants me to have the WT custom fit floor mats.

But I can't find a deal on them anywhere! I have searched, I have gone to Amazon marketplace, eBay prices are pretty much the same as the WT website.

When I google, sales show, but once you click on them, you realize they aren't really a sale. Or they are only for some 1997 truck I don't own.

My question is NOT about whether I should get them or not. It has already been decided.

My question is:

Have you ever found a deal on them and do you think there will be any holiday deals anywhere?

I am asking specifically because if I really can't expect to find a deal, I will just order.

We have bought 3 sets of WT floor mats in the past 2 years and I have never seen a deal on them. That being said, they are definitely worth the price and I'll continue to buy them for every car I own.

Thanks. That is what I am anticipating. If nothing pops up by Cyber Monday, I will prob. just order for the front part of the car (front seat and back.)

Do you have them in the cargo area?

Have not seen a WT deal in 10 years (although I'm not constantly looking but do get email updates etc). They have been doing more advertising in the last year or so but so far no sign of discounting. Have a set that's 10+ years old and they're still in decent shape. We have their cargo liners in 2 wagons and have been pleased. Really saves the back part of the car from wear and tear, and I don't worry about what I put back there.

ETA: What I really like about the cargo liners is the lip - it comes up the side a good inch+ all the way around. It really catches junk (especially liquid spills) and is tall enough that stuff doesn't get out and under it onto the carpet. Same is true of the floor mats - the lip is high enough to keep stuff in. Really helpful in winter months when you track slush into the car.

I have them for the cargo area in my suv. saved me a lot of cleaning.

I have them and DH just asked for them for Christmas. No, I haven't seen any deals, but they are definitely worth it!

I bought mine a couple of months ago when we bought our car. While they were not on sale I did find that Amazon vendor had them $40 cheaper than everywhere else and I was able to get 5% with my discover.

For my small SUV (Hinda CRV) I had to buy the rear cargo area mat separately from the front and back seat mats, but it was worth it. I love them for my car. We ordered from them directly and could not find a deal elsewhere.

When I purchased ours I looked and looked for deals and never found anything considerable. I ended up ordering directly also.

I bought them for the front and rear seats. We have an Explorer, and I had already bought the cargo liner from Ford, before I realized Weather Tech made those too. I've been very happy with them.

I have never found a deal on them. I'm trying to sell the Husky Weatherbeaters (basically the same thing, different brand) out of our old car so I can put some money towards a new set for our pickup truck. I do a lot of selling and buying on eBay, Amazon, etc -- never see any deals on Husky or WeatherTech. But here in Buffalo they are absolutely worth it. We sold our 2007 Lincoln MKZ earlier this year (I removed the mats to sell) and the floor beneath was in outstanding, perfect condition -- and it had jet black carpeting and cream-colored plastic trim and leather. It did a great job through the salty, slushy winters.

I never imagined a piece of plastic could cost so much, but I agree they are worth every penny

I was able to get $20 off a set of weathertech liners one time on Ebay when a seller had a price and also make offer selection. Offered $20 less than asking price and they accepted. About 2 months ago I was looking for another set for a different car but could not find any weathertech discounts. I found another brand called Aries Styleguard liners that were about half the price and so far they seem to be pretty good and fit perfectly. Not exactly the same as weathertech but they might be something you can check out.

There aren't any deals. I was able to purchase mine through a local WeatherTech distributor, and saved shipping.

They may still give 5% off for AAA members. Unless they changed their site recently you have to call the order in to get the discount. For what it's worth when I called for the discount they never asked for proof I was a AAA member. (of course, because I went through the trouble of actually finding the member number they didn't ask :) )
