Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in march, and also what the crowds are like.
Im thinking mid march 2014, avoiding easter time, which I know is in april.

weather is fine, not too cold, not to hot and not too humid.

However March is spring break time. There are gonna be crowds (probably on par with the month of July)
It's going to be a bit less crowded that march 2013 because Easter is not in march like 2013 but in april as you noted.

Still crowds will be very very dense due to spring break.

Actually, spring 2014 will be one of the worst spring period in years, and that's because Easter will follow spring break instead of being "inside" spring break, so that's 2 crowded periods in a row instead of being combined

first week of march should be manageable, but the rest of the month will be packed wall to wall

May is still a good time to go if you arrive before school gets out> the weather is also decent but we are not good with the heat starting in June.

Actually a late Easter messes with the whole of the spring - crowd wise.

We went a couple of years ago in May when there was a late Easter (having travelled the exact same week the year before) and the crowds were so much heavier!

The reason is there are group of people who like to travel after Easter but before the schools get out for summer. With an early Easter they have 6 maybe even 7 weeks to choose from however when Easter is late that same group are pushed into 4 weeks.
