Weather early August?

Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in the Western Caribbean in early August? Sunny & hot, humid & rainy? When does hurricane season start? Thanks!

Hurricane season "officially" starts June 1st with most storms occurring Aug,Sept. and October. January thru May is considered the "dry" season. June thru December you can expect more showers but it doesn't mean it's going to rain all the time.
August will be hot in the Caribbean. Could be 90's or could be 80's. You never know. I guess the trade winds will help (a little)
Don't worry about it. Go for it and enjoy yourself. Just take what you get and deal with it.

Hot and Humid
and HOT and it will be humid too.

If you are lucky the mornings will be overcast with some showers and then the weather clears up around 11am to 1pm. This way the afternoon temps don't get so darn hot and the temperature is still pleasant in the morning (and you won't get that wet with these showers.)

My August cruise was HOT, HOT, and HOT. I wouldn't do it again. Our veranda was a waste as it was literally too hot to touch. The prices go down a lot in the fall, as does the temperature.
