Weather/Crowds First Week of May

Since our APs expire in July, I'm thinking of going back to WDW the first week of May. How's the weather and crowds? Do Grad Nights shorten the MK hours?

We normally go in Oct/Nov, but I just was at a conference last week so I can use that for a comparison.

We go early May every year. Temp's are warming up at that point and its definately pool season. Crowds are fairly light, Epcot is holding the Flower & Garden event. Yes, grad nights do cause the MK to close early some nights, but we never found that to be a problem.

We went this past May for the first time other than 1st week in November. The weather was pleasant....hight 70s. low 80s but the sun is tricky...be sure to apply sunblock. The grad nights when we were there were after 7:30 in MK...no big we did Epcot or the like. The F&G show did not markedly increase the people in Epcot IMHO. The topiaries in the park are lovely, and some of the booths quite interesting. So, go for it...just save me a FP at Everest.

Thanks for the info. Now I just have to hope for some cheap airfares and decide where to stay OKW, SSR or BWV, 6 or 7 nights. Decisions, Decisions. Can't just bank those remaining 2007 points. Looks like we'll take our 6 yr old niece with us.

I went the first or second week of May from 2000 to 2005. Crowds were not bad. Weather can be hot, some years it went up into the 90's but not real humid.

NOT BAD THE CROWDS, if this is your 1st time in May ,try to catch the FLOWER POWER CONCERTS AT EPCOT WS. We go every May and it's great.

How early do they post the concerts?

At this rate I think I'm going to need a 12 step program for Disney. Last month I hit Disneyland and DisneyWorld all in the same week. I used to be able to have a year between trips.
