weather/crowds end of May

What can we expect if we go the last week in May. I was surprised to see how HOT everyone says it is the second week in June. . .I'm having fun dreaming of an impromptu vacation, but I don't like the heat so much. . .

Watch out for Memorial day weekend as that is one of the busiest times. DH and I made the mistake of going to Disneyland one year on Memorial day weekend and it was wall-to-wall people. Of course, at WDW there's a bit more room to spread out but there is also a greater capacity to hold more people so I'm not sure it would be much different.

It is full summer weather that last week of May. The humidity is still down (compared to July and August), but the temps are in the upper 80s and 90s. For some reason, the weather seems to really heat up in May. At the beginning it is usually 70-80 and by the end of the month, in the 80s and 90s.

Now, I don't live in Florida, so maybe someone else has a better perspective, but that has been my experience. May (other than Memorial Day weekend) is my favorite time to go. Unfortunately, with two older kids, missing school is just not an option anymore.

This year will make our 4th trip for the last week of May. It is 95 plus most of the week. We love the hot weather and keep a lot of water handy.
