DH heard the story on the news, and I think it is great! What a fun story!

As for same birthdays. You know, when kids become adults and go out into the world, have their own families and lives, do you think it will really matter that they shared parties growing up? I think sharing parties is probably outweighed by all the fun they had growing up together.

My girls are 6 days short of a year apart. The school cut off falls between their birthdays, so they are in the same grade. So far, it has been nothing but good - having great big birthday parties together, sharing toys, sharing activities - it's like having a built-in playmate and best friend 24/7. My brother was less than a year younger than me, and we loved growing up together.

Congratulations! I think that is soooo cool. My twins were born 46 minutes apart. Andrew just loved having all that room after his brother came out and was in no rush himself!

DD(10) shares an August Bday with her Cousin (11), I really wanted a July baby, her due date, but that isn't when she wanted to be born. It isn't too big of an issue because we live about 7000 miles away but the one year we had DD's bday party at WDW SIL and Family didn't come because they would never be able to give DNiece a similar party. It was a strictly family party and I offered to put both girls name on the cake and have the party be for both but they wouldn't bend. The kids never new how much that party cost, only me and the Mouse knew.
