We want to add to our MYW tickets

We currently have a 1-day MK MYW ticket for each of us. We are arriving next week. We will want to add more park days to our plan. We will be going to MK on our arrival day. Do we have to add the days before we go to the MK, or can we do it after we come back to our resort?

That can depend on when and from where you bought your tickets.

I can give you an answer that will be valid regardless of when/where you purchased:

USE the tickets to go into a theme park, then THAT SAME DAY, go to any Guest Relations (inside or outside that park) or any ticket booth and upgrade the tickets.

You can do the upgrade at your resort's concierge desk (but not to an Annual Pass,) but do the upgrade on the same day that you went into the theme park.

See panel no. 6 on the well-maintained sticky up top; a few people have stated they "managed" to add to their tickets at the resort, but it doesn't not seem to be consistent. I would use the method as shown on the sticky to go to a ticket counter.
