Help has anyone been able to get more photos after the pass has expired? I sent an email but have not gotten a reply back as of yet. I am so sad. I wish we ahd ordered more but she didnt want them then.

Same thing happened to my friend. She went to order them, and it was acting up, so she waited until the next morning and they were GONE. She has emailed them and nothing! She too is so sad. They had some great pictures on there too.

but they were a bit $$. I know that they can sort of look up your photos if you lost your pass so maybe they have not as of yet destroyed the photos.... although how could they store the 1000's of photos they have. Oh well its my fault. Thanks for the info

Can't you make extra copies of the photos at Kinko's?

I tried to make copies of some photos from the cruise and they said it was a big NO No and would not let me copy them so I am sure these are also a big No No to re-print. I dont have them here with me but I bet they have a water stamp type thing on the back of the photo paper saying they cant be reprinted. by the way you can get a letter somewhere on line giving you permission to have your Disney cruise photos reprinted. My friend did it and the photo plave accepted the letter and reprinted her photos. I think it is on th ewebsite of the company that takes the Disney cruiseline photos.

This would do the trick nicely.

That is what we did last year, used a scanner. We even used one of the pics for our Christmas card. Since it was on a CD that we made we just went off to Costco and put it into their computer and made them from there. All done by computer.

I never even thought of a scanner!!!! I dont have one here at home but I do have one at work. I can scan them and then bring them somewhere to be printed!! Thank you...I cant believe I never thought of doing it myself and not at a store or photolab...

We made copies of our Disney pictures on one of those Kodak machines at Walgreen's drug store. We didn't want to pay for 2 copies, so we bought 1, and made a copy when we got home. This was back in 2003, so I don't know if the stores are stricter about this now.

Well I went on line to see my photos on the PhotoPass and I love like 10 of them. Does anyone have a coupon code that I can now in October to save me on the cost? They are $12.95 each 5x7!! Please help! :hourglass

they'll give you a percentage off if you spend 50$ or more. It was on the page where you view your shopping cart.

he question is, how could Walgreen (WalMart, etc) knows that you are not the person who originally took the picture and just somehow accidentally erased the digital image? From what I've seen what people posted here, the picture quality and composition of the PhotoPass are not par with a professional photographer's pics.

I had just the opposite experience. I got an e-mail months after I left WDW telling me my pictures were going to expire. I had long since assumed they had expired. But they were still there so I ordered the one of my DD with Cinderella.

The scanner seems like your best option. You can try to sneak copies at a Kodak Picture Center at places like Walmart or Target, but I don't know if they'll let you make copies.

I agree with the posters that said to go to Walgreens and copy them . OUr local CVS never questions me when I copy anything (and I'll admit that I have copied some portraits from Target)- if they stop you- try another one. To be honest with you, I was a little shocked when I saw how much Disney was charging. I'll be ordering some photos, but I'm so happy I didn't rely on them for many photo ops and always took my own pictures or had them take pics of my family with my camera (which they always happily did!)

Wow! I'm amazed at the number of people advising the OP to steal the pictures they want by copying them. Even if you can scan them yourself or slip it by at Wal-mart or Walgreens or whereever, it is still stealing.

Just so I'm clear...so if Disney has already erased all her photopass photos, she should just suck it up and go photoless?

If the option to buy is still there, we won't be advising the OP to 'steal' them. When there is no way to obtain the picture from the original photographer, what do you expect? Disney can't expect we order stackloads of these (sub-par to begin with) pictures at high prices for "just-in-case" situations.

So if you want 5 sets of prints, your advice is to buy one, and then wait until after the deadline and steal the other four?

If I don't want to sell you my car, do you feel it is ok to steal it? "I had to steal his oxygen tank, your Honor. He wouldn't sell it to me!"

Disney owns those photos. If they don't want to sell them to you, that is their right. If you copy a photo they didn't want you to have, then you have stolen it.

No, if you want 5, buy 5. But then if you want an extra one past the deadline, something that's UNPLANNED, go ahead and repro it.

I want to see one day that you need what you consider as the perfect picture of your family taken by a pro-photographer and he/she is no longer in business. Until they day comes, you can't tell me that you will then just say "oh well, we can't have our perfect picture because the photographer is out of business and dammit I won't make a copy of that picture because it would be considered stealing".

A big yeah-right there, mister!

BTW, I'm a pro photog and I have no problem people doing that. In fact, for pics a'la Photopass, weddings, corporate events, I always give my clients the high-res files so they can print any picture at any size (up to 20" x 30" print, the limitation of my camera).
